Jesus Take The Wheel: Manhattan Granny ‘Mama Dot’ Admits She Helped Run Her Sons $1M Drug Ring

You’ve got to be kidding. Grandmother and President of the Co-Op Board–72-year-old Doris Smith confessed to helping her daughter and son-in-law run their $1 million-a-year drug ring! She used her co-op as a stash house for PCP, rocks, and heroin. The family matriarch—known among her drug pals as “Mama Dot”—was twice caught on wiretaps warning the son-in-law, gang kingpin Lamont (Big Bro) Moultrie, 42, that cops were inside the building at 101 W. 115th St. “I’ve listened to the wiretaps,” Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Edward McLaughlin told Smith’s attorney. “Your client was quite involved. She knew what was going on, and tried to deflect the police.” The short, heavyset grandmother of seven — and great-grandmother of one — pushed up her eyeglasses to wipe away tears while admitting her pivotal role in the lucrative dope-peddling business. Smith, as co-op board president, held a key to the basement and a vacant third-floor apartment next door to where she lived with her daughter Nicole McNair Moultrie and son-in-law Lamont. The basement of the six-story building was used to store hundreds of heroin-filled packets and dozens of plastic bags loaded with dope. The heroin was marketed under the brand name “24,” and a stamp with that number was kept downstairs. The upstairs apartment served as the heart of the PCP trade, with gang underlings dipping spearmint leaves into 5-gallon cans of the liquid drug. The angel dust-laced leaves were then sold for $10 apiece by dealers at three open-air Harlem drug markets — earning the gang its nickname, the “Kings of Dust.” Lamont Moultrie and his kid brother Bernard (Little Bro) Moultrie, 39, were charged as the heads of the drug gang and are awaiting trial under the state’s “Drug Kingpin” statute. Such a shame…Doris is a retired nurse who walks with the aid of a cane. Her 11-year-old grandson, and son of daughter Nicole, also lived in the apartment. Source Images via nydailynews

Do you know where the kid are?

Original post:

If not, it could cost you in Jonesboro. The Jonesboro city council unanimously approved a curfew for teenagers,16-years old and younger, which will make parents accountable. The curfew applies after 11 pm to kids out without adult supervision. The city’s municipal court judge has yet to determine the amount of the fine. Jonesboro Mayor, Luther Maddox says police have been getting more complaints about teenagers walking the streets at “all hours of the night.” Maddox believes this curfew will help limit teen late-night activity as spring approaches and night temperatures go up.  By the way, there is a state curfew. Under the state law, if a child violates curfew, police will take them to a juvenile facility and the parents would be called to get them. The Jonesboro law will require parents pay a fine as well.

What Were You Thinking? Jury Convicts “Harlem Kevorkian” Of Murder After He Claims The Victim Asked To Die!

What the hell did you think was gonna happen dumba**! You don’t get to murder someone just because they hire you to. Jurors in the so-called “Harlem Kevorkian” trial have agreed that the stabbing death of a Long Island motivational speaker was a murder — and that the killer doesn’t get a break under the state’s “assisted suicide” exemption. The guilty verdict came four hours after deliberations began on the fate of hired-knife Kenneth Minor. Both prosecutors and the defense had agreed that debt-plagued victim Jeffrey Locker had cruised through Harlem’s streets two years ago, soliciting what he called “a Kevorkian.” Minor took the job — plunging a knife into Locker’s chest six or seven times as the two sat in Locker’s car on Paladino Avneue, and getting Locker’s ATM card and pin number as payment. Locker had staged the fatal “mugging” so that his family in Valley Stream could collect on some $17 million in insurance policies, both sides had agreed. But Minor downplayed his role in the stabbing, claiming that he merely helped hold brace the knife against Locker’s steering wheel as the distraught man thrust himself on it some half-dozen times. And while defense lawyer Daniel Gotlin argued that assisting a suicide is not an act of murder under state law, prosecutor Peter Casolaro counters that Minor was too active a participant in Locker’s death — and that you can’t stab someone to death just because they ask you to. Listen, we TOTALLY get it. You can’t just kill people, maybe this dude should have gotten a notarized letter of intent first, but damn. Source

Volcano Eruption in Iceland Might Trigger a Powerful Eruption

Last Saturday, Eyjafjallajokull (AYA-feeyapla-yurkul) volcano found in south-central Iceland, erupted and until now its volcanic activity is increasing. Scientists said that it might trigger a nearby volcano named Mount Katla, as of now there are no signs of changes in the said volcano. The said eruption was a result of the tectonic processes that is happening on earth. Tectonic processes are believed to be the cause of some of the violent and deadliest eruptions that happened in history. If Mount Katla will erupt, it will melt huge amounts of ice that will make the areas nearby to be flooded. Last Sunday, rescue teams have evacuated 500 people from the rural area, and the area near the volcano is already under the state of emergency. Due to ash falls, international flights were diverted. Volcano Eruption in Iceland Might Trigger a Powerful Eruption is a post from: Daily World Buzz Continue reading
