Man Washes Car Naked, Engages in Standoff with Police

First, there was the case of the topless motorcycle rider . Now, it’s the naked car washer. The Rancho Cordova Police and Sacramento County Sheriff deputies were called in Thursday to deal with an elderly gentleman who was scrubbing down his vehicle in his birthday suit. When they approached, he grabbed an umbrella in self-defense and tried to use bug spray on the officers. Authorities then failed in an effort to tase him… so he ran into his home… where guns and drugs were eventually discovered … and, sigh, just watch the following report for a lot more on this unusual story: Naked Car Washer Arrested: Report

Dead Shark Discovered in New York City Subway Car

New York City residents were treated yesterday to a reminder that it’s Shark Week on Syfy, only this one didn’t involve a cat riding a Roomba . A transit authority conductor came across a dead shark aboard a subway in Queens on Wednesday, asking passengers to exit the train car so the unusual item could be removed. When a supervisor got a closer look at the animal, he noticed a cigarette in its mouth with a fare card and Red Bull can nearby. So it’s likely that a Shark Week fan was simply playing a prank, but it still begs the question: Where does one find a shark to kill in New York City?!? Dead Shark in Subway Car

The company also made the unusual move of releasing all 13 episodes at once, in defiance of standard weekly releases meant to build up social media buzz. The Talk Goes Makeup Free!

The Talk kicked off a new season with a very new look for its five anchors yesterday, as Sharon Osbourne, Julie Chen, Sara Gilbert, Aisha Tyler and Sheryl Underwood sat around the show’s table with nary a touch of makeup on their faces. And only a white robe covering their bodies. The move was meant to inspire female viewers to remain true to their real selves. Take a look at the unusual set up below: Over the past few months, a number of famous woman have gone a similar route, with Lady Gaga , Demi Lovato and Kim Kardashian all posting Twit pics of their all natural selves. Lady Gaga Mocks "Skinny Bitch" Lindsay Lohan For Eating Cucumber For Dinner

While living at the Chateau Marmont “intermittently while work is being done on her house,” Lindsay Lohan’s eating habits – or lack thereof – have been observed by none other than Lady Gaga. Spoiler alert: She doesn’t eat much. Lady Gaga Tweeted upon seeing her in the bar: “@LindsayLohan when you ordered a cucumber and a knife to the bar last night I thought you were gonna perform a vasectomy #justaskinnybitch.” The singer then posted a photo of the unusual snack option along with the caption, “@LindsayLohan how much could one do with this arrangement.” Lindsay apparently didn’t take it personally, as she replied, “#skinnysnack @ladygaga hahaha!” Gaga’s tweets have since been taken down, BTW. Gaga’s not taking a real shot at her, though. According to several sources, the two know each other and have hung out several times this month. Lady Gaga and Lindsay Lohan BFF alert ? It could very well be, as unlikely as that might seem; the two stars have been spotted laughing together and exchanging playful Tweets, E! reports.

Hollie Cavanagh on American Idol: The Female Favorite?

Hollie Cavanagh was born in England, but lives in Texas. Hence her unusual accent. This American Idol semifinalist also looks her age, something that can’t always be said for 18-year olds on the show. So it’s safe to say we didn’t expect to hear the major pipes that emanated from Cavanagh last night, as she simply stood at the microphone for a cover of Christina Aguilera’s “Reflections,” and sounded very much like that incredible star herself. Jennifer Lopez told Hollie she thinks she can win the whole thing and we agree. We’d make her the very early favorite, along with Phillip Phillips on the men’s side. Do you agree?
