Baby Daddy Drama: Gabriel “K-Fraudy” Aubry Says Halle Berry Will Die Just Like Princess Diana Did!

Gabriel Aubry Says Halle Berry Will Die Like Princess Diana …If she moves Nahla to France to live with their crazy-azz paparazzi! Via TMZ: Halle Berry faces the same tragic fate as Princess Diana if she moves to France — so said Gabriel Aubry’s attorney in L.A. court … TMZ has learned. As we reported, Halle and Gabriel are embroiled in a court battle over whether Halle should be allowed to move to France with the ex-couple’s daughter Nahla. Halle believes the kid will be better protected from aggressive paparazzi in France … thanks to the country’s strict anti-pap laws. But Gabriel’s attorney argued Halle and Nahla would be walking right into the lion’s den — because France is the same country where Princess Diana was killed in a wild paparazzi car chase back in 1997. Halle’s lawyer called several French lawyers — who testified that French judges will nail any photog who goes after a celeb. Under French laws, paparazzi can’t photograph celebrities who don’t want their pictures taken — even if they’re out in public. Photogs who violate the law can be sued for big bucks, and if they harass the celeb they can be criminally prosecuted. Do you agree with Catch Fade Gabe, or is he just being extra??

In White Folks News: Martin Short Forgives Kathie Lee Gifford For Going On And On About His Wife… Who Has Been Dead For Over A Year!

To err is human, to forgive DIVINE!!! Martin Short gets major kudos for not being upset about Kathie Lee Gifford dragging him down a likely painful memory lane this week. Martin Short isn’t one to hold a grudge. The actor, 62, says he understands that Today show host Kathie Lee Gifford didn’t intend to offend during his Wednesday appearance on the show with her questions about his wife, Nancy Dolman–who passed away in 2010 from ovarian cancer. “You and Nancy have one of the greatest marriages of anybody in show business,” Gifford said. “How many years for you guys now?” “We . . . married 36 years,” Short replied. “But you’re still in love!” the host exclaimed. “Madly in love,” he answered. “Madly in love.” During a commercial break, Gifford learned of her cringe-worthy gaffe and apologized on-air. “Martin just told me as he was leaving, he said, ‘Kathie, you probably didn’t know,’ but his beautiful, precious wife Nancy did pass away a year and a half ago . . . I feel so badly,” the remorseful Gifford told viewers. On Thursday, Short spoke to E! News about the awkward exchange–and made it clear he doesn’t hold it against Gifford. “I think that it’s live television and people make mistakes and there’s no ill will intended,” the Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted star shared. “And I think it’s nice to aspire to be that way.” At least he’s understanding about it. Hopefully she’s also learned from her error and will do better research before embarrassing herself like that again. Source WENN/YouTube

Dirty Dog Diaries: John Edwards Walks In Federal Corruption Trial

Every dog has his day. Edwards Trial Jury Deadlocked On 5 Charges, Not Guilty On Remaining Charge Four years, a pregnant jump off, a lost presidency bid, and 6 counts of federal corruption charges later, former U.S. Senator John “Scumbag” Edwards has finally had his day in court. Too bad it’s looking like the jury has cut him some slack. According to TMZ reports : John Edwards has just been found NOT GUILTY on one of six campaign fraud charges stemming from his 2008 run for President — the judge declared a mistrial on the remaining counts after jurors deadlocked. Edwards was found “not guilty” of receiving illegal campaign contributions. The jury failed to reach a verdict on the other charges — including three additional counts of illegal campaign contributions, one count of conspiracy, and one count of making false statements. The jury — 8 men, 4 women — reached today’s verdict after 9 days of deliberations. The two-time former Presidential candidate was charged with the six counts of campaign finance fraud for allegedly using nearly $1 million in campaign contributions to hide his mistress Rielle Hunter and their lovechild from the public. Edwards faced a maximum of 30 years in prison and a $1.5 million fine. In closing arguments, Edwards’ lawyer had told the jury the money to hide his mistress came from a former campaign treasurer and an elderly supporter — both of whom gave Edwards the money as a gift for his benefit … not as part of his campaign. Edwards’ lawyer said the money was used to hide his affair from his dying wife, claiming, “John was a bad husband, but there is not the remotest chance that John did or intended to violate the law.” Edwards spoke briefly outside the courthouse after the verdict was read, saying how grateful he was for his children — and when he got to the 4-year-old daughter Quinn (whom Edwards fathered with mistress Rielle Hunter) he choked up, saying, “My precious Quinn, who I love more than any of you can ever imagine, [who] I am so close to, so, so grateful for.” We don’t know if prosecutors will push for a retrial.
