CNN reports The strain is a part of the Group M version of HIV-1, which is in the same family of the stain that is the cause of the HIV Epidemic. Abbott Laboratories conducted the research along with the University of Missouri-Kansas City. The report was published Wednesday in the Journal of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndromes. Just as those who have been hurt have a voice, so do I, and I too am entitled to be heard no less than those who have been offended. No, this is not about me, but if there are lessens to be learned, the story behind the photo and the blond girl wearing black face surround by yet-to-be identified boys needs to be told.” She then said they were using facial mud and had the less than smart idea to take the photo and none of these college students thought it was even remotely offensive. Instead of taking accountability, she continued to over-explain, which is the first sign of not taking accountability, “However, this 2-minute activity, posted to a small group, was screen shot and shared by another person, then went viral. Does this deserve the daily death threats, harassment, along with the constant fear – and yes, prejudice– that is now my world at CSU?” Disturbingly and with her white privilege on overdrive, she blamed people viewing her as a racist on the people who shared her photo, “There are those who are exploiting this photo as an example of a racism on campus and the failure of CSU to eradicate this virus. These people include Tay Anderson, running for the Denver School Board, and who has been blasting this photo wherever he can to grandstand his out-of-town platform against racial prejudice. I believe this campaign may be responsible for threatening my employer, a national retailer, to terminate me, which has been done, now depriving me of income and placing a stigma on future employment and advanced education.” Tay Anderson is an activist who is running for Denver School Board At-Large. The photo was sent to him by Black students at CSU. He reacted to her horrific statement on Twitter with, “How are you going to blame me for your actions? This was the ‘I know it was racist, but the black guy in Denver shouldn’t have shared it’ apology.” https://twitter.com/TayAnderson2019/status/1172961809768206336?s=20 For all of the backlash she has received, CSU has decided not to punish any the students. President Joyce McConnell is arguing the students did not violate any school policies and the photo is protected by the First Amendment. How sad that Black CSU students have to pay to attend school with a group of kids you posted outwardly racist image of themselves on social media and they are not even punished. Kelly’s lawyer has hit back at the federal government’s claims that his client exposed women to venereal disease as part of his racketeering case. Douglas C. Anton wrote in court papers that there was “zero evidence” to support the government’s allegations that Kelly had infected a witness known as “Jane Doe,” with herpes during sexual encounters. Anton said that although the feds assert that they have Kelly’s medical records, he questioned the manner that they procured Kelly’s records and wondered if the government could prove that the woman and Kelly had the same strain of the virus or who first contracted it. Jane Doe No. 5 “has had her civil case pending for some months and she has not been able to prove a scintilla of her allegations and has offered no evidence to support her claims that Robert gave her herpes,” Anton wrote to the judge. The lawyer said Kelly as been a law-abiding citizen for all of his life, and like anyone, has had consensual sex with “various people throughout his life, possibly more than normal people because he is a rock star.” But that didn’t mean that he did anything wrong, Anton insisted in court papers that were obtained by BOSSIP. Kelly’s lawyer’s allegations were made as part of court docs to persuade the judge to allow Kelly to be released on bail. Kelly is set to be arraigned on Friday, where he will enter a plea in the case. Anton wants Kelly released on his own recognizance, arguing that he’s surrendered his passport and is so broke that he and his other lawyers are working for free. The judge has not ruled on whether or not to grant Kelly bail.

This story is absolutely heartbreaking… A newborn baby that was only 8 days old passed away after catching herpes from a ‘kiss of death’, her mother has revealed, in an effort to spread awareness. Aliza Rose Friend was just over 1 week old when she passed away after developing neonatal herpes from the HSV-1 virus. Her 19-year-old mother Abigail claims that Aliza was healthy for the first 36 hours of her life, until she developed a fever, became lethargic, and lost any interest in drinking her food. The newborn quickly deteriorated as the disease “ate her lungs and brain,” which left her struggling to breathe and suffering seizures throughout the day. After doctors told Miss Friend and her partner Tyler Hensley there was “real hope” Aliza would make it, she was later declared brain dead on May 20 and medics ended up turning off her life-support. After the plug was pulled, doctors later told Miss Friend that her daughter likely caught the infection after being kissed by someone with the virus, which typically manifests as a cold sore. In a Facebook post that has now gathered more than 500,000 responses, the heartbroken mother wrote to friends and family: “WASH YOUR HANDS. DO NOT KISS BABIES,” which she included with photos of her late child. “There’s not a moment goes by that I don’t think about her. She’s in my thoughts every day,” Friend said about missing her baby. Although the doctors have informed Friend that her daughter became unwell from either a kiss or after being touched by unwashed, contaminated hands, there is no way of telling who exactly passed the virus on to the baby. Seriously, y’all…stop putting your mouths onto other peoples’ kids. SMH.

Another Woman Sues Usher Over Herpes Exposure Another woman has come forward claiming Usher exposed her to an STI without notifying her . TMZ reports that a woman that slept with the crooner earlier this year claims she had no idea that she was being exposed to herpes when she agreed to have unprotected sex with him. Mind you, Usher has been married to Grace Miguel for nearly two years …but we digress. According to the side chick , who goes by Jane Doe in her legal docs, she and Usher linked up on April 16 at her Atlanta home. At that point, they got frisky, she performed oral sex, and they had intercourse — protected that time around. 12 days later, she met up with Usher at a New Orleans hotel room, and the two got down to it again. However this time, Usher opted to skip the condoms. Fast forward to a few days ago, and ‘Jane’ was a bit more shocked than the rest of us to find out that Usher is admittedly infected with Herpes Simplex 2. Now, the woman does NOT say that she’s infected now, but she has concerns about being exposed to the virus. She also says she never would have agreed to intercourse with him had she known. She says Usher owes her $10 million for negligence, battery, and emotional distress. Damn, he only had to pay ONE million to the woman he actually passed it on to. It’s coming up on two years now since Charlie Sheen revealed to the world that he’s HIV positive — and he’s been doing pretty well, right? You know, for Charlie Sheen. He seems to be healthy, but he’s occasionally been getting into trouble and saying bizarre, troubling things . Par for the course for this guy. But while things have been going on normally for Charlie for a while now, that’s all about to end, thanks to a bombshell new lawsuit. In the court documents, an unnamed woman claims that Charlie lied about being free of STDs in order to have unprotected sex with her. Note: Charlie Sheen is never officially named in the suit, but the defendant is described as a man who gave televised interviews about HIV on November 17th, 2015, and June 21st, 2016. On both of those dates, Charlie appeared on the Today show to talk about his diagnosis. The woman claims that she and Charlie began dating in September of 2015, and before they had sex, she asked if he had any STDs. He said that he didn’t, that he was “fine” and she “needed to trust him.” They still waited for about two months to have unprotected sex, but immediately after they did, Charlie allegedly revealed that he was, in fact, HIV positive. The plaintiff claims that he “threw a bag of pills on the bed,” and told her that if she took them, she’d be fine. But he also said that in reality, the pills were unnecessary, and he advised her not to believe “the convenient rumors of the medical community.” She also says that he told her he was “noble” for informing her at all, because it was “none of [her] f-cking business.” “This is more about … not if, but when you do come down with this,” he reportedly told her, “that we’re together and at least we have each other.” Other times, she claims that Charlie told her he could “see the future,” and he knew she’d be all right because the “apocalypse” had “cleansed” her soul. The lawsuit isn’t all that hard to believe — Charlie himself has admitted that he hasn’t always used protection , even after learning of his HIV status. He said that he withheld that information because when he’d told previous partners about it, they attempted to blackmail him. But still, you know, that’s illegal . In this new lawsuit, the plaintiff says that Charlie told her that he was facing other lawsuits from women he’d exposed to the virus. He allegedly referred to those women as “assholes” and “f-cking n—–s.” Right now, it’s not clear if the woman suing Charlie actually is HIV positive as a result from his actions, or if she’s just suing him for exposing her. She’s suing him for battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, negligence, negligent infliction of emotional distress, and fraud. And if even part of what she says is true, hopefully she’ll get every penny she’s suing him for.
