Exclusive: T.I. Wants $775K Suit Over Alleged Jewelry Rip Off Tossed

Of Finessing Them Out Of Pricey Bling T.I. is apparently so confident that his ex-jeweler’s lawsuit accusing him of shadily swiping more than $775,000 in bling is bogus, he’s asked a judge to rule on it before it even sees the inside of a courtroom. Jeweler to the stars Aydin & Co sued T.I. in 2015 for breach of contract for allegedly blowing off their oral agreement, and said he owed some $775,000 for bling he never paid for. T.I. has denied owing any money to the jewelers and said that even if he did, the case was barred by the statute of limitations. He’s asked a judge to issue a ruling in his favor ASAP and filed a motion for summary judgment May 18. He now wants the judge to rule in his favor based on the facts already presented in the case and without the suit actually going to trial. The “Big S**t Poppin” rapper also said that he was the victim of a robbery in 2016 , where more than $700,000 in jewelry was stolen. Aydin & Co believes that the stolen jewels were the ones they are now suing over, and they’ve also filed a motion to have a judge force T.I. to deposit any insurance money he may have received from the jewelry with the court. The jewelry company said between 2004 and 2012, it sold T.I. hundreds of thousands worth of bling, including $9,500 diamond hoop earrings, a 48-carat diamond chain, two $10,000 custom-made dog tags, a $24,500 women’s diamond bracelet, a $30,000 blue diamond watch, and a $13,500 men’s wedding band. Aydin & Co. said T.I. had an open account with the company, and had been making payments until he suddenly stopped in 2013. Company owner Fevzi Aydin said he tried reaching out to T.I.for payment, but to no avail, and that’s when he filed the lawsuit. Both legal requests will be heard later this summer when both T.I. and the jeweler are due back in court on the case.

Laura Govan Wants Custody After Gilbert Arenas Drove Car With Kid On Hood It’s been a rocky road for Gilbert Arenas and Laura Govan this year and it doesn’t look like it’s getting any better… During an episode with TMZ Live Arenas revealed his ex planned to try and take full custody of their four kids, a claim that TMZ says they’ve now verified It all started with Arenas posted an IG video with the kids inside his Polaris Slingshot and 8-year-old Alijah on the hood. In his defense, he was allegedly only driving 15 MPH. He’s since deleted that video but you can watch it here: Gilbert told us he got an email from Laura’s people saying they were going to try and take custody away from him, and TMZ Sports has learned he told the truth. Our sources say Laura — who currently has primary physical custody — will go to court and ask the judge to significantly reduce Gilbert’s visitation. She also wants the judge to impose safeguards so the kids aren’t put in dangerous situations. As one Laura source put it, “This is just the straw that broke the camel’s back. He’s done many other things.” Listen, it’s no secret that Gilbert is kind of a “different” sort … Do you think he should lose custody though? Robin Thicke Makes Out With 20-Year-Old Girlfriend on Plane, Pisses Off Other Passengers

It wasn’t all that long ago that Robin Thicke was a hot commodity, adored by both fans and his doting wife, Paula Patton. But oh, what a difference two years can make. These days, Thicke and Patton are divorced , despite his many public, embarrassing efforts to win her back. (There’s only so much philandering a girl can take.) Add to that the fact that Thicke has lost millions after being sued by the family of Marvin Gaye for ripping off his one hit (“Blurred Lines”) from the late soul legend, and it’s hard to think of another star who’s fallen so far, so fast. But at the end of the day, Thicke is still rich (His dad is famed television actor Alan Thicke.) and still famous (for better or worse), which means there are still attractive young women who want to sleep with him, and the 38-year old dad apparently wants the whole world to know it. Page Six reports that Robin and his 20-year-old girlfriend, April Love Geary , nearly had an angry mob on their hands when their in-flight PDA session prevented other passengers from boarding on a recent flight. “He was standing in the aisle as people boarded, leaning over to make out with her,” one witness complained. “He was blocking the way. She was giggling. It was obnoxious. He was just like, ‘Oh, sorry.’ He knew he was being disruptive.” Wow. It’s annoying enough when you’re stuck behind someone who’s trying to cram a bag they obviously should’ve checked into the overhead bin. Can you imagine being held up by a douchey celeb because he wants the world to see him makeout with his barely-legal girlfriend? Terrence Howard: Michelle Ghent Extorted Me with Penis Pics, Threatened Murder

Terrence Howard says his former wife Michelle Ghent extorted him and threatened to expose his genitals to this world unless he paid up. Luckily for Ghent, Howard only fired this salvo via legal documents. His Empire alter ego Lucious Lyon probably would’ve just offed her. All kidding aside, this ugly celebrity split is getting even uglier … Terrence is now re-married to Miranda Howard (pictured), but his divorce from Ghent has made news for a lot longer than that marriage lasted. He’s embroiled in a spousal support war with Michelle, who got five years worth of support for a union that only lasted a year – well above normal. The actor says he agreed to that generous deal because Michelle Ghent extorted him, and he claims some of that alleged extortion is on tape. Before she was flat-out threatening to kill Terrence Howard , the duo were bickering about the amount of support that the actor would pay her. She threatened to release naked photos and videos of him unless she got what she wanted, he says, according to his attorney Brian Kramer. Terrence says he secretly recorded her saying, “I can make a good $2 million right now … you want to see your little d–k out there in front of TV?” Moreover, Howard says he also has her on tape saying she will tell every woman in the world he gave her an STD … and might murder his ass. She supposedly says, “Trust me, you’re f–king with the wrong person. You f–ked with me way too much. I will f–king bury you deep in the ground.” The long and short of this? In making these claims, Terrence wants the judge to throw out the pact they made so he doesn’t have to pay any more. The spousal support settlement lasts for another year, and she’ll continue to siphon a portion of his earnings as long as the deal is in place. Lil Wayne Sues Birdman To End Cash Money Contract Welp, it’s been on the way for weeks , but now it’s official. After rumors have swirled that Lil Wayne’s media tantrum over unfair treatment at the hands of his “Daddy” Birdman would turn into a vicious legal battle , the paperwork has been finally been filed and “father and son” will soon face each other in court. Via TMZ : Lil Wayne has made good on his promise to go after Cash Money … because he’s filed a lawsuit asking a judge to end his contract with Birdman’s label. According to the lawsuit, obtained by TMZ, Wayne says Birdman and company violated the deal by withholding tens of millions of dollars Cash Money owes him for his long-delayed album, “Tha Carter V.” Wayne claims because Cash Money is refusing to pay, he’s entitled to walk. But Lil Wayne wants more than just a declaration of freedom. He’s suing for $51 MILLION. And Wayne wants the judge to declare he’s the joint copyright owner of all Young Money recordings … which includes Drake, Nicki Minaj and several others. Sources connected to Wayne tell TMZ … if Birdman antes up then he can release “Tha Carter V,” but only if Wayne gets paid. Wayne says he was supposed to get an $8 million advance when he began recording in December, 2013 and another 2M when he completed the album a year later, but so far he’s gotten nothing. It will be pretty interesting to see how this pans out….

The wife of Tom Cruise is not exactly wearing any. The second one gives you a better idea, fortunately (or not): The 33-year-old actress will be featured in the line’s campaign when it launches in the U.S. this fall. She is already repping the brand in ads in Israel. Katie’s hubby, Mission: Impossible 4 star Cruise, recently told People magazine that he falls a little bit more in love with his wife every day. “It’s been quite an amazing five years because of her,” he shared. With ads like this, we can see why.

Molly Sims: Pregnant With First Child!

Molly Sims is going to be mommy Sims. The 38-year-old model, jewelry designer and actress is expecting her first child with her new husband Scott Stuber, her rep confirmed this afternoon. “There are simply no words to describe the feeling,” Sims wrote. “I finally get what they mean when they say pregnant women glow.” Sims explained that a “first pregnancy is a nerve-wracking experience of course, but mostly we are just thrilled and excited. We can’t wait to meet him or her.” Sims also shared how she broke the news to Scott Stuber , 42. “I hijacked a fortune cookie and typed a new message so that when he opened his cookie at the end of the meal, he found out he was going to be a daddy.” “You can only imagine how nervous I was during the entire meal – I think I ate a total of two bites – but the look of surprise and joy on his face was priceless.” Stuber, who produced Love and Other Drugs , popped the question in May 2011. Dr. Conrad Murray: You Want Me to Pay, Too?!

Dr. Conrad Murray wants the judge in his criminal manslaughter case to deny Michael Jackson’s family restitution, arguing that MJ was responsible for his demise. Murray was convicted and sentenced for involuntary manslaughter already. That is set in stone. However, he is still fighting the restitution the star’s family seeks. Murray is asking for evidence the defense never received during the trial – evidence he claims could show Michael self-administered the fatal dose of Propofol. Murray’s lawyer, J. Michael Flanagan, argues that – guilty verdict aside – in deciding how much restitution the family gets, the victim’s responsibility matters. So Murray will concede he’s partly to blame (he can’t argue otherwise because of the conviction) but he still wants to prove that Jackson caused his own death. The prosecution is asking for around $100 million in restitution, but the judge hasn’t decided on a figure. The level of culpability will ultimately play into that. Once the figure is set, if Flanagan gets his way and the judge were to decide MJ was 50 percent responsible, the judge would reduce restitution by 50 percent. Also complicating matters? Murray is pretty much broke, and if anything, Jackson’s family has profited from his death. So … the judge has a lot to ponder.
