Arrow Season 6 Episode 4 Recap: Reversal

Michael Emerson is in the building! On Arrow Season 6 Episode 4 , the popular actor debuted as Cayden James a.k.a. the man who founded Helix. Watch Arrow Season 6 Episode 4 Online He was not impressed with everything that happened to him, so he was ready to embark on a revenge mission, and that meant taking some people down.  Alena revealed the truth to Felicity, and it sent Felicity right to her team to let them know there was something villainous on its way to Star City and they had to be prepared.  Felicity and Alena joined forces to find a ghost mirror drive that would give them access to some of Helix’s most important files.  When they found the device, their mission was thwarted by none other than Black Siren who showed up to cause some mayhem for them.  Cayden revealed himself to both Alena and Felicity before ordering Black Siren to murder them. He also revealed that he saved Black Siren from death on Lian Yu.  In a scuffle that involved all of Team Arrow, Alena was injured and made her way to the hospital. Felicity managed to confirm that Diggle was right about Black Siren’s murders being covers.  They make their way to a place known as “the vault,” which the villains are trying to access. Oliver played Overwatch and Felicity managed to take the firewall down and save the internet, and of course, their lives.  While it seemed the team won, it was quickly revealed that Cayden wanted her to take the firewall down so he could upload some malware of his own to get the upper hand.  In a somewhat surprising move, Felicity, after conferring with Alena, decided to call her company Helix Dynamics. Alena wanted to become a permanent fixture at the company, but it seemed like Ms. Smoak was on the fence about the potential hire.  She was worried about the trust because Alena’s loyalty wavered in the past, but would she really stick the knife into Felicity twice? Also, Oliver and Felicity celebrated the third anniversary of their first date, but things were thrown into doubt when it emerged that the villains wanted to play a little game.  The episode concluded with Oliver getting a phone call from Slade Wilson who wanted his help with a brand new mission.  Could it involve his son? We’ll have to wait to find out! What did you think of all the action? Sound off below! View Slideshow: 17 Characters Who Ruined Perfectly Good TV Shows

Arrow Season 4 Episode 2 Recap: Anarky in the USA

Thea discovered the truth about her anger issues on Arrow Season 4 Episode 2 . Elsewhere, CEO Felicity made a discovery of her own, learning about the the cost of doing business; while Damien Darhk’s most recent handiwork led to a political development. Watch Arrow Season 4 Episode 2 Online We’ll start with Felicity, who we may not hire to ever run our business. She now heads up Palmer Tech and she avoided some actual payroll problems this week by employing a bit of fantasy. She and Oliver now have money, as the latter put it, yet they used a lot of it to buy a fingerprinted truck instead of covering a decent amount of a staffer’s salary. The storyline just didn’t really work. View Slideshow: 18 Sexy Small Screen Superheroes Elsewhere, Oliver was tasked with keeping Jeri Ryan’s Jessica Danforth safe. She was a family friend running for Mayor in place of Moira. Enter Anarky, Darhk’s private contractor who initially tried to kidnap Jessica and then eventually abducted her daughter. Because he’s all about “order, discipline and precision,” Darhk actually gave Lance the girl’s location and Lance, in turn, told Oliver to go ahead and prove how things are different this time around. So Team Arrow went out and rescued the girl. But the major fallout here was that Thea (aka Speedy) practically roasted Anarky to death as a finishing move. Before this scary moment, Oliver told his sister about the Lazarus Pit and how it was used to bring her back to life and how he had been warned that its side effects could leave her very different from before. At the end of the hour, Laurel suggested that she and Thea enjoy with a spa getaway; but, in reality, she’s taking her friend to Nanda Parbat for two reasons: To gather the information that might help Thea deal with these issues. To see what the Pit might do for Sara, who’s not looking so hot after a year in the grave. As we look forward to Arrow Season 4 Episode 3 , these developments also went down this week: Diggle told Laurel about how Darhk’s “ghosts” work for H.I.V.E., the same organization that killed his brother. Laurel responded by warning him against internalizing the guilt over a sibling’s death. In flashbacks, Oliver afield to pass himself off as a castaway to Baron Reiter, who put him to work. During his first shift, Oliver met a young woman who complained about the conditions. Oliver hinted that he may run for Mayor! Need to catch up on this installment? Arrow Season 3 Episode 13 Recap: Team Tension

There was a lot to like on Arrow Season 3 Episode 13 , though we’ll start with a mini complaint. The face-off between dueling canaries on “Canaries” was a bit of a letdown. The fight sequences needed to be one-sided, removing a great deal of drama, while they were actually difficult to follow as well. That’s what happens when both combatants are wearing the same outfits. Watch Arrow Season 3 Episode 13 Online While Arrow does action very well, Laurel’s best hallucinatory moments instead were emotion-based this week; take when Vertigo “transformed” into an angry Quentin… or when a proud “Sara” glowed at her sibling from above. The best scenes in the installment, however, were saved for Thea and Oliver. It would have been easy and predictable for the former to be angry at the latter for all his lying, but she instead took the more rational and mature route. All those occasions Thea believed Ollie to be a flake and or a liar? “You were saving someone,” she said. Thea did, however, have a beef with her father for driving her and her brother apart, all while being aware of Oliver’s identity. This segued nicely into tension between members of Team Arrow when Oliver booted Thea from the Foundry. Felicity led the way, giving a speech about the squad’s newfound independence, while Diggle later made it clear at the bar: The team has turned into something else. It has evolved into a cause that can live beyond its founder. “Can you live with what it’s become?” he asked Ollie. Back to Laurel: she realized she can never be Sara. Nor should she be. She has to be herself. So, as you’ll see when you watch Arrow online , she came clean to her father about everything. Toward the end of the hour, Malcolm informs Oliver and Thea that to ever take down Ra’s al Ghul, they must first conquer any fears the villain may use against them as a weapon. So Oliver says goodbye and he and his sister make camp on Lian Yu. What did you think of this truth-telling hour, Arrow Fanatics? Sound off below and prepare for Arrow Season 3 Episode 14 , “The Return,” to air on Wednesday, February 18.
