Source: Atlanta Police Department / Via APD Alexis Crawford Died Of Asphyxiation, Roommate In Custody More details have been released surrounding the death of Alexis Crawford . As previously reported after a week’s search, Alexis’ body was found and her roommate and the roommate’s boyfriend were taken into custody. Now according to WSB TV , Alexis’ cause of death has been revealed as asphyxiation. Alexis’ roommate 21-year-old Jordyn Jones, is charged with malice murder. Jone’s boyfriend Barron Brantley, who is also charged in Crawford’s death, was booked Friday night. The motive for Alexis’ murder is unclear but authorities report that she filed a complaint against Brantley three days before she disappeared accusing him of “unwanted touching and kissing” inside the apartment she shared with Jones. According to the police report, “the victim stated that the suspect rubbed his hand on her shoulder and kissed her on the neck. The victim stated that she asked the suspect what was he doing and he stated he thought she was Ms. Jones.” Baron Brantley was previously charged with robbery and has been arrested multiple times for family violence and cruelty to children Roommate now in custody, charged with murder of Clark Atlanta student https://t.co/ttzqR195eM pic.twitter.com/hqDObiVnYb — WSB-TV (@wsbtv) November 10, 2019 Both suspects were being held without bond at the Fulton County Jail. So Sad: 7-Year-Old Child With Special Needs Is In Critical Condition After Falling Out Of Ninth-Floor Apartment Window

Source: davidf / Getty Boy In Critical Condition After Falling From 9th Floor Window According to the NY Post , a seven-year-old boy is fighting for his life after falling out of a ninth-floor window in the Bronx. The special needs child reportedly fell at around 11 AM Saturday morning at 1453 Harrod Avenue, near East 174th Street in Soundview. “I was making coffee when I heard the kid screaming so I ran outside..He couldn’t speak because of his condition so he screamed,” says a neighbor who rushed to help the child after the accident. It was unclear how the child fell out of the window, or whether the family was home at the time. He was rushed to Jacobi Hospital, where he is listed in critical condition.

Jenelle Evans: Back with Nathan Griffith?!

It's been a very, very busy time for Jenelle Evans these past few weeks. You know, what with filing for divorce from David Eason and all. She's left all her belongings behind to move herself and the two children she has custody of to a whole new state, she's gathered proof of David's abuse and filed a restraining order against him. All that sounds like a ton of work, even when you don't consider how taxing it all must have been emotionally for the Teen Mom 2 firebrand – whatever you think of her personally. But still, even though Jenelle's been doing all of that, she still found some time to spend with Nathan Griffith, the father of her middle child, Kaiser, and sworn enemy of David. Yes, really. Let's get into it. 1. Jenelle and Nathan Okay, so yeah, this isn’t a current picture of Jenelle and Nathan … because there aren’t many. They haven’t had the opportunity to take a photo together for the past few years because their breakup was pretty messy, and because David is the worst. 2. Gross Jenelle and David first started dating like a month after she and Nathan broke off their engagement and relationship, and it seems like David’s always been super insecure about that, to the point where Jenelle simply wasn’t allowed to speak with him. 3. Ridiculous and Terrifying We’ll never forget an early appearance of David Eason on Teen Mom 2 where he went with Jenelle to meet with Nathan to discuss custody stuff … he was so mad that he threatened to “fill this whole street with uppercut.” Yes, that happened. 4. So Immature Shortly after that, he decided that Jenelle wasn’t allowed to communicate directly with Nathan, even though she shared a small child with him. Instead, he’d be the one to deal with Nathan when it came to Kaiser. 5. Poor Kaiser And speaking of Kaiser, many fans believe that David was allegedly abusive towards him because he does look so much like his dad — more on all that in just a moment though. 6. Setting the Stage So we’ve established that David has always hated Nathan, right? Good, let’s move on to the next part of this story. View Slideshow

The Antisocial Network: Facebook “Apologizes” After Anonymous Employees Blasts Them For Racist Practices

In addition to their inability to remove lies and disinformation in political ads, the social media network is wrought with racism and bigotry according to current and former employees. A CNBC report states the Mark Zuckerberg ‘s company has now “apologized” for not policing a hateful culture toward Blacks, Hispanics, and Asian female employees. The blog was written by a group of people who are ostensibly part of each of the marginalized groups mentioned. “No one at Facebook, or anywhere, should have to put up with this behavior,” Bertie Thomson, Facebook vice president of corporate communications said in a statement. “We are sorry. It goes against everything that we stand for as a company. We’re listening and working hard to do better.” The blog purports that things at Facebook have gotten much worse since ex-employee Mark Luckie wrote the now-infamous note stating that the tech giant had a “Black people problem”. “Racism, discrimination, bias, and aggression do not come from the big moments,” the anonymous employees wrote. “It’s in the small actions that mount up over time and build into a culture where we are only meant to be seen as quotas, but never heard, never acknowledged, never recognized, and never accepted.” The blog writers appear to want to put their names on this indictment, but they fear that they would not be safe from corporate and colleague retribution. “We cannot afford to be vulnerable externally because Facebook has made us a vulnerable target internally,” the anonymous employees wrote. “The only thing we can hope for in this cathartic exercise is to influence change by sharing our stories and hope that no one else experiences the same discriminatory behaviors that we have.” Facebook, a place for bigots.

Celebrity Jeweler Going All Out To Save $400K Bling Theft Case Against Offset (Exclusive)

Source: Dimitrios Kambouris / Getty Guven’s Says Offset Promised To Pay For Six Figures In Baubles But Never Did A luxury jewelry company claims rapper Offset disappeared with nearly $400,000 of its bling is going to great lengths to get the rapper in front of a judge. Jeweler Guven’s Fine Jewelry has asked a judge to grant them permission to hire a special process server to go after the Migos’ rapper and husband of Cardi B in order to have their day in court. We exclusively revealed that Guven’s sued the “Clout” rapper earlier this year , accusing him of making off with pricey bling like a platinum diamond necklace with emerald cut diamonds that was appraised at nearly $95,000. According to court papers obtained by BOSSIP, Guven’s said it had an agreement with the Migos member and husband of Cardi B to sell him high-end jewelry. They sent over several pieces, including an 18 karat gold tennis bracelet with 27 round shaped diamonds worth $140,000 and another tennis bracelet – this one platinum – with an emerald cut diamond valued at nearly $40,000. But the jeweler said that although Offset kept the jewels in question, he never paid for them. Source: Hot 97 / Hot 97 Guven said its reps contacted Offset in June to demand payment, but he apparently ignored its demands. The business said it sent a second letter to Offset, but he refused service. In total, Guven says Offset owes it $359,490. The jeweler also included what it said were letters to Offset demanding the jewelry as well as certificates of appraisal made out to him to prove the allegedly pilfered ice was legit. The case has languished as the jeweler has struggled to locate Offset in Georgia in order to serve him with the court papers. Guven’s wants the jewelry back, plus punitive damages and their lawyer’s fees paid. Offset has not yet responded to the suit – likely because he has yet to be served. The judge has yet to rule on Guven’s motion.

Everyone is focused on Apryl Jones dating her exes co-worker Fizz , but she says it would be remiss to forget that Omarion literally abandoned their family. He gave her the silent treatment for over a month and asked for a ‘break’ until she got fed up and left. Not only that, Apryl says O is unreasonably angry with her since after their breakup…even before she was friends with Fizz. He makes faces at her when they exchange the children. Even currently, Omarion is fighting Apryl in court over custody issues she says could be solved amicably. When she tried to reach out to her baby daddy, there’s no communication she alleges. To make matters worse, Omarion is allegedly hitting Apryl in her pockets. She says he lies about his income so that he has to only pay $350 in child support for each of their kids. He’s also claimed she worked for his company to the IRS, she says that’s a complete lie. He’s just trying to get her to pay taxes on his money. Yikes! Are You Here For It?! Instagram Will Start To Test Hiding Likes In The United States Next Week

Source: Photo credit should read DENIS CHARLET/AFP/Getty Image  Instagram To Start Testing A Private Like Count Just as they’ve discussed in the past, it looks like Instagram is finally expanding its test to hide likes for those of us in the United States . During the WIRED25 event on Friday, Instagram CEO Adam Mosseri announced that a select number of U.S. users would see the like counts disappear from Instagram as soon as next week. He didn’t provide any further details on the scale of the test, but simply revealed it wouldn’t be “the whole U.S. at once.” “There’s a couple of hundred people in here, so definitely a couple of you will have private likes, I hope,” Mosseri said to the crowd. “It’s about young people. The idea is to try to depressurize Instagram, make it less of a competition, give people more space to focus on connecting with people they love, things that inspire them. But it’s really focused on young people. We have to see how it affects how people feel about the platform, how it affects how they use the platform…but I’ve been spending a lot of time on this, personally.” Earlier this year, Instagram started testing private likes among Canadian users, and they’ve since expanded the test to six other countries, which includes Brazil, Italy, Australia, Ireland, and Japan. With this new format, Instagram users will still have the ability to see which users liked each of their own posts, but the like count would no longer be visible to others.  These tests ended up being launched following concerns about social media’s effect on mental health.
