View this post on Instagram Ahead of her 30th birthday, Taylor Swift is sharing 30 things she learned before turning 30. “I’ve come to a realization that I need to be able to forgive myself for making the wrong choice, trusting the wrong person, or figuratively falling on my face in front of everyone,” she writes. “Step into the daylight and let it go.” Link in bio for the full essay penned by ELLE’s April cover star.⁣ ⁣ ELLE April 2019:⁣ Editor-in-chief: @ninagarcia⁣ Creative director: #stephengan Cover star: @taylorswift⁣ Photographer: @benhassett⁣ Stylist: @paulcavaco⁣ Wearing: @burberry⁣ Hair: @sergenormant⁣ Makeup: @francelledaly, @lovecraftbeauty⁣ Nails: Denise Bourne, @deborahlippmann⁣ Producer: Kristen Terry, @roscoproduction A post shared by ELLE Magazine (@elleusa) on Mar 6, 2019 at 5:05am PST Taylor Swift Covers Elle Magazine, Talks Beef With Kim Kardashian We were all tuned in when Kim Kardashian called Taylor Swift out with blaring snake emojis, claiming the “I Did Something Bad” singer lied when she said she didn’t approve Kanye West’s “Famous” lyrics. Not only did Kim K. hit Twitter with all the shade, she hit Snapchat with video recordings of Taylor Swift on the phone with West, in which she seemed to give the rapper her blessing . Branded a liar, it didn’t take long for Kim K. fans to attack Taylor’s IG account with endless snake emojis. Wait it's legit National Snake Day?!?!?They have holidays for everybody, I mean everything these days! — Kim Kardashian West (@KimKardashian) July 17, 2016 Now, covering the April 2019 issue of Elle magazine, Taylor Swift references her beef with Kim K . In a list of 30 things she learned before turning 30, Taylor speaks on bullying. She said : “I learned that disarming someone’s petty bullying can be as simple as learning to laugh. In my experience, I’ve come to see that bullies want to be feared and taken seriously. A few years ago, someone started an online hate campaign by calling me a snake on the internet. The fact that so many people jumped on board with it led me to feeling lower than I’ve ever felt in my life, but I can’t tell you how hard I had to keep from laughing every time my 63-foot inflatable cobra named Karyn appeared onstage in front of 60,000 screaming fans. It’s the Stadium Tour equivalent of responding to a troll’s hateful Instagram comment with ‘lol.’ It would be nice if we could get an apology from people who bully us, but maybe all I’ll ever get is the satisfaction of knowing I could survive it, and thrive in spite of it.” Although Taylor never mentions Kim by name, her statement was pretty obviously directed at the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star. Do you think she was bullied?

The Bachelor Recap: Are Cassie and Caelynn Here for the Wrong Reasons?!?

Well, that was awkward. Like, very, very, very, VERY awkward, even for Colton Underwood, someone who has proven himself to not exactly be the most smooth and natural Bachelor in series history. On the latest episode of this ABC hit, Colton initially flashed back to previous episodes. That’s because the last three women who Underwood sent packing all warned him against some of the suitors remaining. “That’s three people who had the same thing to say while saying goodbye to me: ‘You’re a smart guy, trust your gut,’” Colton recalled early on last night, adding: “What the f-ck? That’s like, my ultimate fear in all of this. I’m confident in the decisions that I make, I just don’t want to make a mistake. “And from here on out, every decision that I make is bigger and means more.” It’s true. The most famous virgin on television in getting closer and closer to picking his wife. View Slideshow: The Bachelor Spoilers: Colton’s Choice, Stunning Final Rose Aftermath REVEALED! [Updated] Needing some assistance in this department, Colton headed to Denver and met up with a man who can relate to his struggles: former Bachelor star Ben Higgins. Clearly confused over the “multiple” women with whom he was falling in love, Colton was told to really dig deeply into these women; to really try and understand them. This led him to talking candidly with Tayshia on their one-on-one cate, assuring her that he had no concerns about her. But Tayshia called out Caelynn and Cassie – who, back at the mansion, insisted that they were NOT the ones in this for the wrong reasons – and claimed they were only using Colton to try and become the next Bachelorette. That’s, like, the cardinal sin of being a Bachelor suitor. Tayshia warned Colton later that her father would be hesitant to see her in another relationship after her divorce. Nevertheless, he still gave her a rose, cool with the fact that he’d need to get father’s blessing prior to any proposal. After this sweet act, Colton said he could absolutely envision Tayshia as his wife. But could Colton say the same about Caelynn, considering Tayshia’s allegations that she only cared about getting rich and famous? Colton went right ahead and confronted Caelynn her about this claim. Caelynn argued that such statements “completely fabricated” and that she was “100 percent ready” for marriage. She even called Tayshia a “stupid bitch” to the cameras. After Caelynn told Colton she was falling in love with him , he reciprocated these same feelings and gave her a rose. The next day, Caelynn went after Tayshia, telling her that she thought their friendship was a lie, prompting Tayshia to defend her assertions to Colton and to say that everyone in the house believed Caelynn and Cassie didn’t deserve to stick around. Things were growing intense as we went to the group date, on which yet another woman took the initiative and dumped Colton. This time, as teased in previous The Bachelor spoilers , it was Heather who told Underwood she wasn’t ready for him to meet her family, thereby eliminating herself from the competition. Colton didn’t seem too broken up about her departure, though. He admitted instead that Cassie was still his biggest worry – although she defended herself when asked about all the trash Tayshia had been talking. All it really took was for Cassie to say they were lies and for Colton to totally believe her. Kirpa tried to say differently, though. She also slammed Caelynn and Cassie for their motives, leading to yet another argument between suitors when Cassie found out about Kirpa’s declaration and called her an “idiot.” Watch The Bachelor Season 23 Episode 7 Online In the end, Colton gave the two group date roses to Hannah G. and, yes, Cassie – with whom he said he was falling in love; that makes three women on this episode alone – after Caelynn showed up to defend the latter. Kirpa was given the boot. Finally, Colton took Hannah B. home to meet his parents. She told Colton’s mom that she was totes in love with her son, while Colton expressed trepidation to his dad. This was, like, the one person on the show he apparently could not see himself marrying. Later in the evening, Colton admitted to Hannah B. the feelings simply weren’t there… so away she went for good. The Bachelor Finale Trailer: Tears, Terror and … the Truth?

Mo’Nique To Steve Harvey: I Will Punch You!

Things got seriously heated during  Mo’Nique and Steve Harvey’s highly anticipated interview  on Wednesday.  News quickly spread that the actress actually “slapped” Steve in the face.  And while that rumor was wrong, it wasn’t far fetched.  During an all-new Steve , the talk show host invited his long-time friend onto the show to address some negative headlines.   Mo’Nique and Steve went head-to-head on the comedienne’s comments over Oprah, Lee Daniels and Tyler Perry.  And according to HollywoodLife , “Mo goes as far to say she was getting ready to punch Steve in the mouth.” The two’s debate intensified over her comments about being “blackballed” from movies and how she even told Daniels, Perry and Oprah to “suck my d***” during a stand-up show.  I’m sorry, but how do you say such things about Oprah and not expect to get excluded from the film industry?  That rowdy behavior may get you a rose on The Bachelor, but not a lead role in a movie.  Steve gets right to it and asks: “You started getting labeled as difficult, why do you believe that happened and do you see that changing and why?” She replies, “I said no to some very powerful people.”  The Oscar-winner then went on to say she didn’t appreciate Steve’s handling of the situation after news broke that she was “blackballed from the industry.”  She said she was incredibly hurt when Steve reportedly said: “My sister burnt too many bridges and there’s nothing I can do for her now.”  The TV host assured her and said he understands her anger towards his statement but also thought she “went about it all wrong.” “We can’t cure darkness with more darkness,” he said to her.  Over the years, Mo has claimed that she was blackballed by Hollywood after refusing to promote her film Precious without additional pay and she argued that some big names attempted to silence her during her pursuit of equality.  Their tempered talk finally turned into a real conversation as Steve apologized for not calling her the moment he heard about the news. “Here is what I want you to understand, as we try to come through this, I know who you really are, I want you to come through this,” the host said. “I love you like a sister, I hate what is happening to you. I want them to know you are caring, a great mother, you are an incredible mother,” he continued, holding her hand and looking into her eyes.  “I don’t like the fact that you’ve been blackballed…I want this to end for you. Because I love you. Because these people are doing it the wrong way and you’re better than that. “I probably should’ve called you as soon as it happened, but I didn’t. When I did, I listened to you, but I told you, in the beginning, we’re going about this the wrong way.”  He summed up the issue by telling Mo’Nique that those people owe her an apology, but that she also owes them an apology.  Steve also revealed that he would facilitate the conversation, bringing in all parties involved for a private (but probably not) open discussion.  And their talk resolved with a promise that Steve will get her the release she desperately needs.

Meet Your Friendly Brooklyn Spider-Man | Extra Butter

Visit link:

Spider-Man is from Brooklyn and his name is Miles Morales, a teenager who was bitten by a radioactive spider while spray painting down in the subway. Like in the traditional Spider-Man story Miles suddenly develops mysterious powers that give him special abilities. Ending up at the wrong place at the wrong time, Miles crosses paths with Peter Parker, while he was in the middle of a battle with the evil Kingpin a madman who wants to open a portal to bring back his family, but instead of his family he cracks open the Spider-Verse. This week on Extra Butter with Xilla Valentine, we get an inside look at Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse starring Brian Tyree Henry, Shamiek Moore, Luna Lauren Velez, Jake Johnson, and Oscar Award Winner Mahershala Ali. During our conversation, we spoke about how animated they had to get inside the sound booth. Jake said the director wanted realism so it was hard to half-ass the antics, “If you tried to phone it in, we had three directors with Chris and Phil in the room and they would call you on it.” Jake goes on to reveal that he’s not a man who loves to fake run while doing voice work, “But you gotta keep going until they would all say we believe it. So, in the end, you got to act like you’re running around and jumping and Thwip Thwip and all this but you got to go for it.” Shamiek Moore was also surprised at some of the references they used because he would have said it a different way but he does recognize the mistakes gave character to Miles. Moore said, “I learned that by just going through the process of just talking and being like oh shoot I messed up… And I was like oh shoot they used that.” Brian Tyree Henry plays the father of Miles and he was extremely thrilled to be able to work with his co-star. I keep saying this but Luna is my jam, I mean if you go back to NYU to OZ this is the jam. This is the quintessential mami of New York and I was like if that’s the case and this is who is playing my wife then I better really add my flavor. With a great cast and a killer story Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse is the year’s best animated movie. Go see it when it hits theaters this Friday.

What It’s Like Competing To Work For T.I., According To Grand Hustler Yonathan Elias

Source: Marc-Anthony Lewis / Marc-Anthony Lewis Yonathan Elias has a master’s degree, but when T.I.’s sons sent him on a mission to fetch their food, he obliged because he’s a hustler. T.I.’s competition show The Grand Hustle seeks to find the hardest, most efficient worker out a group of 16 individuals vying for a 6-figure salary. Yonathan is one of those hopefuls. We caught up with the young entrepreneur, who has many hustles of his own including a popular podcast . HB: How did you land a spot on The Grand Hustle ? Yonathan: I had to complete an online application that literally took me three hours to complete. I almost gave up about two or three times. After I submit that, I got an email requesting a Skype interview because I made it to the second round. I then received a call saying that the producers loved me, but they want me for the second season, unless someone didn’t pass their background check. Must of been my lucky day because someone didn’t pass and they flew me to ATL for my final interview in front of the camera. I was locked in a hotel for five days and couldn’t go out because they didn’t want any of the cast to see each other. The last day was approaching and producers came into my room saying congratulations. Pack your stuff, we are moving you to the mansion! HB: What was it like finding out you would be sequestered? Yonathan: The thought of weeks and months of no phone, no social media, no reading, no seeing or even talking to friends and family, was nerve-wrecking. This was the longest I’ve ever gone without a phone, but I have to say, it was refreshing. I don’t think I would do it on my own, but it was cool to clear my mind of a lot of the BS we see and hear in this world. HB: How did you feel when you realized you had a fellow friend, Krystal Garner, in the house? Yonathan: When KG walked through that door, my initial thought was “Hell Yeah, someone I know!” Then I immediately thought, “Oh damn. We are about to be targeted!” I knew that people would think we would form an alliance, but what the viewers don’t understand is, that’s two verses 14. That doesn’t sound like a win to me. So as happy as I was to see a familiar face, I also knew we would have to work 10 times harder and also have our guards up. HB: You made some funny faces on the show, did you realize you were doing it? Yonathan: Watching the show and seeing these faces I’m making makes me understand why people always tell me that I can’t hide my emotions. I’m not going to lie, I even laughed at some of my reactions because I honestly never realized my face was so damn animated. Now this has me self-conscious about how I react to someone I don’t like but don’t want them to know. HB: What was the hardest challenge? Yonathan: I’m not one who backs down easily. I’m not used to dealing with individuals I don’t like. I’ve taken anger management because I grew up fighting. I was picked on as a child well into my teenage years, so I have a lot of anger built up and whenever someone ever tried it, it ended with them being bloody. I gave up that side of my life, but a certain bird in the house, named George, is poking the beast out of hibernation and he will soon find out that I’m not one to eff with! HB: How has your life changed since? Yonathan: Man! All I can do is smile. I’ve been getting hit up for interviews, being sent scripts, getting emails to collaborate on projects. It’s amazing why reality TV can do for you. Even though everyone always said I was made for reality Tv, I always said I would never do it because of how editing can manipulate you, but I have to commend BET for showing the real Yonathan. Everything you see is me 100%. No extras or fakes added. HB: What’s next? Yonathan: I told y’all I’m a multimedia mogul in the making. I wrote a script called “Bruk’s Brothers” which is basically a guy version of Sex in the City and Girlfriends . I’ve got a well-known EP and director with a cast that includes some of the greats that you currently see on TV. I’ll be shooting the pilot in LA and then pitching it to different networks. My email has some amazing scripts that have been sent to me, for some projects I am considering to act in. Then I’m also going to start a Boots and Hat line that I may even collab with my fellow Cast mate, Javi, on. Currently in the works of getting a pretty dope TV hosting gig as well! I just want to keep the momentum going and let the viewers know, I’m so much more than a reality star! Watch The Grand Hustle on BET every Thursday night. Lindsey Graham Wants To Remind You Judge Brett Kavanough Is Not Bill Cosby

J udge Brett Kavanaugh  and Dr. Christine Blasey Ford   were testifying Thursday about sexual assault accusations against the potential next Supreme Court justice. Ford claimed he assaulted her in the summer of 1982. Kavanaugh denied all of the allegations and said the hearing was a “national disgrace.” The ugly episode on Capitol Hill prompted South Carolina  Sen. Lindsey Graham  to have a temper tantrum and twice reference fallen television icon Bill Cosby . See Also: Bill Cosby Sentenced To 3 To 10 Years In Prison For Sexual Assault Conviction While addressing the Democrats who were questioning Kavanaugh fairly, especially considering hasn;t been an FBI investigation, Graham roared, “Boy, you all want power! God, I hope you never get it. I hope the American people can see through this sham, that you knew about it and you held it. You had no intention to protect Dr. Ford. She is as much a victim as you are.” Pivoting to Kavanaugh, he continued: “If you’re looking for a fair process, you came to the wrong town at the wrong time, my friend! Do you say you have been through hell?” Kavanaugh whined, “I have been through hell and then some.” “This is not a job interview; this is hell!?’ Graham yelled, “This is going to destroy the ability of good people to come forward, because of this crap.” He added, “You’re supposed to be  Bill Cosby   when you’re a junior and senior in high school and then, all of a sudden, you got over it?!” See the foolishness below: What an awful reference. Ja Rule & Ashanti Deliver First Taste Of Upcoming Collab Album

Source: Shareif Ziyadat / Getty Via | HotNewHipHop Ja Rule and Ashanti take it back to simpler times on “Encore.” Anybody who remembers the significance behind “It’s Murda” can attest to the long and prosperous reign of  Ja Rule  and  Ashanti . Ushering in a radio-friendly batch of thug-luv blammers, Ja and Ashanti proved kindred spirits on songs like “Always On Time” and “Mesmerize.” In fact, their particular chemistry seemed to capture a particular moment in early-millennium hip-hop, despite Ja’s pop tendencies rubbing some of his day one fans the wrong way. Either way, nostalgia has done wonders for the duo, who seem to recognize that very fact; in the wake of  The Carters,  Ja and Ashanti decided it was high time to get the band back together for another go. Bella Thorne’s Tongue Art

The Bachelor Winter Games: Ben Higgins Leaves in Tears

The Bachelor Winter Games  is more than just a way to pass the time between  Bachelor  episodes and reading each of  The Bachelor  Spoilers  that leaks. It's also a wild ride. This episode saw a very memorable  Ghost  homage on a surprisingly successful date. There was also an epic kissing contest with high stakes. But Ben Higgins realized that he was in the wrong place. After talking it over and crying over Lauren Bushnell, he decided that it was time to leave. For starters, it turns out that Dean and Lesley aren't just both beautiful — they're both pretty good with a pair of skis, blowing everyone away as they raced down the slopes. Josiah couldn't help shading Dean Unglert at little — referring to Dean having “so many women at his disposal.” It sounds like a compliment or perhaps even a neutral description, but it's to remind everyone of Dean's disastrous love triangle in  Paradise . And Clare is much harsher about it. (Oh, Deanie Babies, the Bachelor Nation is still so disappointed in you) However, Dean and Lesley won two date cards and after a lot of soul-searching, decided to hand off one of them to Kevin and Ashley. Which is how we got this: That's right, folks. Kevin Wendt and Ashley Iaconetti did a full-on  Ghost  reenactment. You'd think that a date that includes Ashley confessing that she's a virgin would be spent awkwardly, but Kevin was totally understanding. (He is, after all, Canadian — politeness is kind of their brand) That didn't stop either of them from enjoying their spin pottery date. And Ashley said that she could really see herself falling for Kevin. A lot of folks are rooting for these two. After Tiffany realizes that it was time to say goodbye, Ben Higgins started questioning whether  The Bachelor Winter Games  was really best for him at the moment. This resulted in the tearful heart-to-heart that he had with Chris Harrison, which you can see in the video below. “Coming back to a place like this really brings up a lot of weird memories.” He says that he's haunted by the “ghosts” of his past, which means that this would have made a great Halloween episode. Alas. “And then, to try to engage in relationships here, and know that the last time that I did this was one of the best moments of my life. …” Sometimes, you don't know that you're in the wrong place until you're there. “But, right here, right now, it just doesn't feel right.” “My fear is not entering into a relationship, my fear is not pursuing somebody.” But he does know what his real fear is: “My fear is that if I [were] to be broken again, I'm not full enough right now to recover from that.” We can totally understand that. You need to feel secure in yourself, emotionally. Some wounds stay raw for longer than you would think. And perhaps being on  The Bachelor Winter Games  has exacerbated that. And then he talks about what sounds like being deeply impacted by comments and fan speculation — and not only that which was hurtful or intentionally hurtful. By leaving, Ben Higgins (and Michael and Yuki) missed out on the kissing contest, which was judged by Rachel Lindsay, JoJo Fletcher, and Arie Luyendyk Jr. Which means that Dean, Luke, Josiah, and Bibiana were engaging in a makeout contest … in front of their exes. Awkward beyond reason. The best kissing was definitely Ashley and Kevin — they got a standing ovation. The worst? Josiah and Ally. Ally threw up right beforehand, and that's just not a recipe to a good kiss. Take a look at Ben's tearful conversation and decide for yourself if he was right to leave:
