In an interview with an Australian news program this week, Kim Kardashian said she posed naked for Paper Magazine as a quasi present for herself. Simply put, “I did [them]” for me,” Kardashian told The Project host and audience. On a related note, speaking to Australia’s 2DayFM’s Breakfast show today, Kim reiterated this point, alleging that Kris Jenner wasn’t even aware of the shoot until her daughter informed her. “She does [manage me], but I’m pretty in control of my career,” Kardashian said of her mother. “Everyone thinks she’s this mastermind and tells us what to do and where to go.” But Kim claims this isn’t true… with the exception, we presume, of the Kim Kardashian sex tape . And Kim’s Playboy spread. And Kim’s marriage to Kris Humpries. And… you get the idea. “She was actually in Paris with me and I had dinner with her right after the shoot, and I’m pretty private about the stuff that I do until it comes out,” Kim added. “So I told her I did a shoot and I was like ‘Just wait until it comes out – you’ll see!'” And Jenner has since seen the Kim Kardashian nude cover; as has millions of Internet users and as, someday, Kim’s daughter will also see. A day earlier, in that same Q&A with The Project , Kardashian credited husband Kanye West for instilling self-confidence, revealing a surprising tidbit about the rapper in the process. “He’s so sweet. He’s so shy,” she said of Kanye. “Swear to God! I am way more outspoken than he is. I think in public he always does what he wants to do and he always stands up for what he believes is right and he’s taught me that. “He taught me like, ‘Just what do you believe?
