According to NBCNews , Brown, now 30 after being sentenced to life in prison at age 16, will be 69 years old before she is eligible for parole. Which is insane. “I do pray that you show mercy and that you give me a second chance,” Cyntoia Brown said recently as she sat before a parole board behind the walls of the Tennessee Prison for Women. Cyntoia isn’t just any ol’ murderous inmate. She killed a man who had picked her up as a prostitute and was, in her words, acting in self-defense. During her time in prison, she’s truly rehabilitated herself in the way that prison purports itself to do… “I have a college degree now. I have a family … a whole community of people who love me, who believe in me, who support me,” Brown told the board on May 23. Her lawyers are hoping the court will take notice of recent Supreme Court rulings that deem life sentences without parole to be an unconstitutional sentence for a minor. The system has failed. It’s heart breaking to see a young girl sex trafficked then when she has the courage to fight back is jailed for life! We have to do better & do what’s right. Aaron Hernandez’s Alleged Gay Lover Speaks Out: I Miss My Friend

When authorities found Aaron Hernandez dead inside his prison cell at Souza-Baranowski Correctional Center in Lancaster, Massachusetts, it initially seemed like an open-and-shut case. Hernandez had recently been acquitted of double homicide, but was still facing life behind bars for the 2013 murder of Odin Lloyd.  Sources close to Hernandez claimed that though the outcome of the trial was likely to have little impact on his time behind bars, it was important to the former New England Patriots tight end to ensure that he was cleared of any connection to the murders of Safiro Furtado and Daniel de Abreu. Having lived to see himself cleared of charges, the story went, Hernandez saw no reason to go on living. But as more information about Hernandez’s final days public, a different picture began to emerge. For one thing, his attorneys reported that his acquittal in the Furtado-Abreu murders gave Hernandez hope that his appeal of the Odin charges would be successful. However, there were also rumors that Hernandez was experiencing profound emotional duress due to the nature of his life behind bars. Prison sources indicated that the 27-year-old had become distraught in recent weeks due to an alleged romantic relationship with a fellow inmate named Kyle Kennedy . Insiders say Hernandez requested that he and Kennedy be permitted to share a cell, and became distraught when his request was denied. Attorneys for Hernandez have denied that their client was romantically involved, but Kennedy spent more than a week on suicide watch after Hernandez’s death. Today, Kennedy spoke out for the first time about Hernandez’s death, and while he did not confirm that he and the former NFL standout were romantically involved, Kennedy did make it clear that they shared a close emotional bond: “I miss my friend Aaron Hernandez,” said the 22-year-old in a statement issued to Radar Online. “I’d like to send my condolences to his fiancée, his mother and his daughter.” Kennedy, who is no longer on suicide watch, is serving a sentence for armed robbery. Dozens Of U.S. Attorneys Found Out They Were Fired From Trump’s Administration AFTER It Was Publicized

Trump Administration Disrespectful In Handling Of U.S. Attorneys SMH. The Justice Department announced the resignation of 46 U.S. attorneys this week, all of whom were in association with the Obama administration, with out personally notifying all of them. It’s common that any attorneys nominated during a former administration step down or resign after a new President takes office, but what’s unique about this is that no one communicated with them about how and when it would happen. Many of the attorneys found out through media sources. The Justice Department announced the firings Friday and prosecutors confirmed they were not notified before it became publicized, according to CNN . Many are criticizing the classless act. Reportedly, acting Deputy Attorney General Dana Boente was in the beginning stages of calling each US attorney individually to tell them they had to resign when the DOJ issued a statement. Wow, what a pathetic way to treat our own. Not even a text message??? Foul.

Baseballl Announcers SLAM Selfie-Snapping Sorority Sisters

Welcome to parenting in 2015. So says one of the announcers in the following video, which features numerous sisters from Arizona State University's Chi Omega sorority attending an Arizona Diamondbacks baseball game. Not that they're aware in the least that they're attending an Arizona Diamondbacks baseball game. The young women are too busy making like Kim Kardashian , snapping selfies from various angles at every opportunity. As you can see here, the footage turned into an impromptu version of Mystery Science Theater: 3000 , as the women were caught in the act and mocked mercilessly by the men calling the game. “That's the best one of the 300 pictures of myself today!” one announcer says. It's really pretty amazing all around. See for yourself.

Khloe Kardashian Undergoes $3 MILLION in Plastic Surgery as Part of Extreme Makeover?!

Star magazine isn’t always the most trustworthy tabloid (enter joke about “trustworthy tabloid” being an oxymoron), but their latest cover makes a pretty compelling case for the claim Khloe Kardashian has had a lot of work done . In fact, the tabloid claims that Khloe has invested $3 million in changing her appearance . The procedures she’s reportedly undergone include a nose job, breast implants, butt life, liposuction, and even lap band surgery to ensure that the weight stays off. That’s a lot of cash to spend on altering one’s appearance, but Khloe has complained in the past about the difficulties of being considered “the ugly Kardashian,” and she certainly has the money, so…more power to her? It’s tough to reconcile the idea of Khloe feeling compelled to change her face and body so much with the image we have of Khloe as the confident, brassy sister, but you can never underestimate the pressure of being in the limelight 24/7. We know from the frequency of Khloe’s gym selfies that she works out a lot (or at least puts a lot of effort into making us think that she works out a lot), so at least some of the transformation is natural, but it’s hard to look at those before and after pics above and think that she hasn’t had at least a little help from a surgeon. Hey, if it makes her feel better, we’re happy for her. But hopefully Khloe knows when to call it quits when it comes to going under the knife.

Last month, Kylie Jenner launched a new app and website for her most hardcore fans. Yes, in case you somehow felt that Kylie doesn’t have enough of a web presence already, you can now pay actual money to learn the priceless answer to such questions as ” How does Kylie make her boobs look bigger ? (It’s a push-up bra. We just saved you $2.99/month.) Amazingly, Kylie’s app is tremendously successful. In fact Kylie is outselling her sisters (who also launched subscription services) by a wide margin. So what does she do to make her fans feel like they’re getting their money’s worth? Why she talks about her butt and her first boyfriend, of course! First Kylie addressed those persistent butt-padding rumors with the photo above. Apparently, the shot was taken on a day when some thought that Kylie’s ass looked less than Kardashian-esque, so she was all, “Psssht…I had so much back you could see it from the front.” Then she posted the pic on Instagram, so again, no need to pay for the app. However, app subscribers were treated to an awkward video segment in which Kylie called up the dude who gave her first kiss in fourth grade. At first, dude insisted that Kylie had the wrong guy (lolz!), but then he admitted that he was indeed her first boo. Not the most compelling drama, but at least you app subscribers are getting something, right?  Maybe Tyga will get pissed that Kylie is calling up her exes and she’ll post a video of their fight on the app. Then we might consider subscribing. Bill Cosby to FINALLY Face Criminal Rape Charges?

Earlier today, three more women came forward to claim that they were sexually assaulted by Bill Cosby, thus bringing the total number of accusers to 50 . Despite the wealth of evidence against him, Cosby has thus far been able to avoid prosecution, as the majority of the accusers came forward after the statute of limitations for the alleged crimes had expired. However, a woman named Chloe Goins says she was sexually assaulted by Cosby during a party at the Playboy Mansion in 2008, which could spell trouble for the legendary TV dad.  California has a ten year statute of limitations for rape (other forms of sexual misconduct carry shorter statutes), so if it turns out that Goins case fits the definition of rape, Cosby may finally be forced to stand trial. The LAPD has been investigating Goins’ claims since January, and moments ago, TMZ reported that the case was turned over to the DA , who will now decide whether or not to press charges. The fact that the results are being turned over the the DA means there’s a good chance that police found evidence that could result in Cosby being prosecuted. The 78-year-old comic was likely prepared for this possibility, as he seems to have been mounting a defense for several months. Shortly after Goins went public, Cosby claimed he wasn’t even at the Playboy Mansion on the night in question. Shortly thereafter, his attorneys reportedly asked Hugh Hefner for information on Goins . It may be several weeks before we find out if the case will go to trial, but it certainly sounds as though Cosby’s team is running scared.

Stuart Scott’s Daughters Visit His Mural, Promote Fundraising For A Cure We got really choked up posting this… The ESPY’s are in L.A. tonight and one very special person won’t be able to attend. Stuart Scott . Our thoughts and prayers are with his daughters Taelor and Sydni on what we are sure must be a very difficult day for them. The girls have been in Los Angeles this week doing interviews and promoting raising money to fight cancer. We love this photo they tweeted out in front of their father’s mural: What a beautiful shot. The ladies have been tweeting out information about how to donate to the Jimmy V Foundation which is accepting donations to benefit the Stuart Scott Memorial Cancer fund. We lost a real one with Stuart Scott. So glad we have Taelor and Sydni to carry on his legacy.
