Drake fans are weeping. Drake Backs Out Of Grammy Nominations Concert Drake needs more people. Didn’t he know the Grammy Nominations Concert was taking place weeks in advance? Accoring to TMZ: Drake has pulled himself out of tomorrow’s big Grammy Nominations Concert in L.A., TMZ has learned … and it’s all because the guy claims he’s got a last minute “scheduling conflict.” The show had been promoting the rapper as one of their big acts since October … but a rep for Drake tells TMZ something came up, and now he won’t be able to attend. “Unfortunately, due to scheduling complications, Drake will no longer be performing … [he’s] currently in the middle of his nationwide ‘Would You Like A Tour?’ and sincerely apologizes to his fans that he can’t be there.” According Drake’s website, he’s not scheduled to perform anywhere on Dec. 6th … though he does have a show the following day in Missouri. So, why the sudden conflict? We asked the rep … but didn’t get an explanation. Maybe Drake couldn’t make it because he was too busy nursing his feelings. WENN

Courtland Rogers, the estranged husband of Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans, has been arrested for assault in North Carolina, according to officials. With Jenelle back in rehab again for the second time in under a week, her husband ended up in handcuffs – and still found time to tweet about it. “They.got me…brunswick.coybty jail i am.on my way…write me …sorry i got caught,” he posted on the micro-blogging site … whatever that means. Pender County (N.C.) Sheriff Deputy Chester Ward found Rogers had outstanding warrants March 5 when they were dispatched to an unrelated call. “We had responded to a disturbance but it had nothing to do with him,” Ward said. He and some other people were there and we will check and run identification to make sure they don’t have any outstanding warrants and Mr. Rogers did.” “He just happened to be at the residence. We put him in our holding jail and processed him here and Brunswick County picked him up this morning.” Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office Public Information officer Emily Flax confirms that Courtland Rogers “is in our detention facility” on six charges. The allegations include four counts of assault on a female, plus two counts of battery on an unborn child, which Jenelle Evans accuses him of. Evans’ allegations were filed with police, who issued a warrant for Courtland, though he wasn’t picked up by authorities until randomly this week. The warrant for Rogers revealed gruesome details about the couple’s relationship, which ended around when she suffered a miscarriage with their child. One warrant claims Rogers “unlawfully and willfully did assault and strike Jenelle Rogers, a female person, by picking her up throwing her against the wall.” He is also accused of “bashing her head on the wall, punching in her head, back, stomach and legs” in an incident report dated November 16, 2012. Another arrest warrant details an alleged incident that occurred on January 21, claiming Rogers “did commit battery on a pregnant woman” (Jenelle). The two are still married, though Jenelle has said she won’t take him back. She was also recently dumped by Gary Head, another former fiance.
Chris Brown can obviously afford $10, but he says the reason he lost it and exploded on a valet last night was because the guy tried to shake him down. Sources close to Chris say the valet at PINZ bowling alley in Studio City, Calif., was supposed to charging $5 per car … until he tried to charge Breezy $10. The R&B star believes he was singled out because he’s famous, and wasn’t having it, growing more heated when the valet refused to back down. Chris’ camp – which tried to calm him down – said it was never about money, just the principle of the thing . Whatever it was, he was in some mood. In the last 48 hours, Brown reportedly got into a fight with his bodyguard on board a plane in Bermuda; Big Pat had to hop his own flight back to the U.S. After that, he feuded with the valet outside a charity event at PINZ … then went to the Emerson Theatre in Hollywood and told the crowd ” F–k Drake !” A day in the life …
Hide ya pets! Nothing to see here folks, just your typical Sphynx cat showing off its “carpe diem” tat on his chest. Apparently, Timur, a 24 year old tattoo artist wanted his beloved cat, Coco, to have a similar tattoo as the one he had done on his chest. So he just put the hairless feline to sleep for an hour and unleashed his artistic talent on her little chest: They say the cat was put to sleep and didn’t feel any pain, and that all the 24-year-old did was to make Coco a beautiful ornamental cat. Unfortunately for Timur, experts say the tattoo will very likely degrade over time and eventually become just an ugly spot. Which is probably for the best, because the guy actually managed to misspell a simple phrase like “carpe diem”, a popular Latin saying translated as “seize the day”. In the mean time, the eccentric artist actually got a tattoo of his tattooed cat on his forearm, and Russian forums posters are now joking about the probability of him tattooing himself on one of Coco’s front legs. According to local sources, animal tattooing became a fashion trend in Tatarstan about five years ago, when tattoo parlors had a different price list especially for pets. It’s believed the trend migrated here from Belgium, where artist Wim Delvoye started tattooing pigs, in 2007. Where the hell is PETA !?!? Would you ever tat your favorite pet? ‘A Game of Shadows’ director Guy Ritchie recalls how one shot was turned into his favorite action sequence. By Kara Warner Noomi Rapace, Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law in “Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows” Photo: Daniel Smith/ Warner Bros There’s a lot to like about Guy Ritchie’s big-screen versions of the adventures of Arthur Conan Doyle’s famous literary hero Sherlock Holmes, the latest of which, “Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows,” just arrived in theaters. One of the most likable elements is that Holmes (Robert Downey Jr.) is a bit of a badass, which Ritchie has showcased with as many action sequences as possible. Those who’ve seen “A Game of Shadows” know that the “forest escape” scene is the most impressive of the bunch. In a nutshell, Holmes, Watson (Jude Law) and Madam Sim (Noomi Rapace) are running through a forest, trying not to get hit by the sniper pursuing them or one of the many bombs being hurled their way. The sequence has that patented Ritchie finesse. It features a mix of real-time action and slow motion so the audience can fully invest in all the stunning detail, even if that detail is people being blown to bits. When MTV News caught up with Downey and Ritchie, we asked how that sequence — which was written simply as “they run through the forest” in the script — came to be. “It was the height of the winter, and there was a phantom camera on essentially a remote-controlled, high-speed track,” Downey recalled of the setup. “So we were trying to sync ourselves with the remote-controlled track. It’s really interesting stuff. I think Guy really had an idea for how he wanted [it] to look and feel, and we accomplished it, thank God. It was freezing out there!” Ritchie revealed that although he had planned every detail to make the scene as big as it could be, a technician’s blunder forced him to make some unplanned changes that actually improved the sequence. “I threw a lot of moving parts at it. We had ideas, and all in all, it came together in a way I hoped it was going to come together. One of the technicians missed one of the shots, which was the most fundamental shot of Robert and Jude running through the woods. I’ve only got one shot of them doing that, because the guy forgot to record the rest of it,” he said. “So I string this shot out, but what it meant is that I could scream at someone else and realize there was a lot more that could be extracted from this scene, so I went back for three or four more days and absolutely wrung its neck,” Ritchie explained of stretching the one shot of Downey and Law to fill time. ” … Somewhere, some poor technician got fired somewhere because he forgot to record it, but really, I’m indebted to him.” Check out everything we’ve got on “Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com .

With the talent level low and the contestants so similar, this season of American Idol has been considered a bore by most viewers. Ratings certainly reflect a drop in interest. For that reason, producers are praying Adam Lambert will deliver a much-needed dose of excitement tonight, as he plays mentor to the remaining finalists. But Ken Warwick tells Entertainment Weekly that he’s also counting on the reverse coming true: he hopes the Lambert’s appearance on the show will resurrect this singer’s sidetracked career. “The guy is an incredible talent, and he had an incredible following. And it kind of upsets me that at the moment he’s not doing quite as well,” the executive producer said . “I don’t know what possessed him to do what he did at the AMAs , but he’s still struggling to live it down. “Hopefully… we can start putting him back firmly where he belongs, as a major star. Because the guy is an incredible talent. He genuinely is. And it kind of breaks my heart to see someone with that much talent struggle a bit. So hopefully we can do back for him as he can do for us.” Adam Lambert returns to the stage that made him famous this week. Aside from mentoring tonight, Lambert will return to the American Ido l stage tomorrow. From there, it’s off to the GLAAD awards Saturday evening for another performance. Wrote Adam, regarding the event: “GLAAD has advocated for out music artists, including myself, and I am proud to be part of the 21st Annual GLAAD Media Awards this year. GLAAD’s work to share stories that grow acceptance and understanding about the gay and transgender community is so important in our culture today.” Will tune in to watch Lambert on Idol this week?
