Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn went public with their romance to foil the paparazzi, according to the golfer, while she is not freaked out by his sordid past. Ever since their simultaneous Facebook posts and photos confirmed what we suspected – Lindsey Vonn dating Tiger Woods – many have wondered: Why would the Olympic skiing gold medalist go for a man whose epic, marriage-ending sex scandal made him the poster child for whom not to date? Apparently, the answer is not all that complicated. “Tiger makes Lindsey happy,” says one of her friends. “She isn’t concerned what others think. She trusts her instincts. She’s comfortable with the relationship.” “They have sat down and talked it out more than once. He has explained his side and owned up to what he did wrong. He has been very honest with her.” “She’s not freaked out by his past.” A source close to Woods, 37, says the golfer has been open with Vonn, 28 about his past, which she once joked about during the scandal’s peak. Rumors of a relationship heated up early last month, when Woods sent his private jet to fly Vonn home to Vail, Colo., after a crash on the slopes. The crash at the Alpine World Championships in Austria left her with torn knee ligaments and a fractured shin – but more time with her man at least. Woods, who was at Vonn’s side during her surgery after flying her home, “has been really supportive as she recovers from her injuries,” says a pal. As for the public proclamation of their love, which would’ve been unthinkable a few years ago for Tiger, he said in an interview that it was for the best. “I’ve had situations where it’s been very scary, dangerous for my kids and the things, the extent they’ll go to,” Woods said of undercutting the paparazzi. Also, part of him delights in sticking it to the paps. “We basically devalued the first photos and, unfortunately, that’s just the way it is in our society right now and we felt this was best thing to do.” Most importantly, though, he’s just more comfortable with who he is these days. “It’s simple,” he says of the decision to go public. “We’re very happy.” What do you think? Steve Jobs is somewhat of a sacred cow. And with every sacred cow, there’s gonna be someone making fun of it. With two dueling Steve Jobs movies in the works– jOBS starring Ashton Kutcher famously being the first one to be released, while the Aaron Sorkin film is still in production– Funny or Die has announced that the comedy website will in fact release the first Steve Jobs biopic. Sneaky. The movie, called iSteve , will run about 60-75 minutes and star Justin Long in the title role. According to writer/director Ryan Perez, the started as a fake trailer and escalated into a full movie. It too three days to write and five days to shoot, with most of the biographical information coming from Wikipedia. Should be a pretty interesting experiment. Give Justin Timberlake credit: when he comes back to music, he really comes back to music. Having spent the last few weeks promoting his new album (” The 20/20 Experience “) absolutely everywhere – from hosting Saturday Night Live to sticking around Jimmy Fallon all week as the musical guest – JT announced at a release party yesterday that even more new songs are on the way. “I’ve got to clear up the rumors,” the singer said. “This whole thing about this only being the first part … is true. There is another half. I’m not giving you a release date.” Reports, however, claim the second new album of 2013 will be available in November. Timberlake sang three songs from the new album at the shindig in Los Angles: “Mirrors,”” Suit & Tie” and the Latin-infused “Let the Groove Get In.” However, he says the final song on the CD, ” Blue Ocean Floor ,” is the most “unique.” It was inspired by British rock group Radiohead. Why wait so long between albums and then release TWO in a matter of months? Justin explained to Ryan Seacrest: “I definitely enjoy all the entertaining but music is definitely the most special thing to me, and that’s probably why I wait so long in between records, because for me, no pun intended, it’s an experience.”

From hotel stalking, to just simply going to buyouts and waiting outside the tour bus, it’s never happened. It all started this time with me not having any tickets to the Believe tour for Houston, Texas. I didn’t think I would get tickets, but the next day my local radio station started giving out tickets. I ended up being the first one to win tickets from them! I expected to go and enjoy the concert, with no intentions of meeting him. My friend then told me to join BieberFever.com and enter the contest for meet and greets! I entered, and ended up not winning. But my sister, who didn’t send in a picture, but sent in an essay, and showed Hoogs how #BiebsMeetDestinyAndFaith was trending, won! The day of the concert came and I was SO nervous. I went to the venue around 10 AM, and hung around the venue all day with my friends. I had butterflies in my stomach all day long. I literally felt so sick, and could not eat at all! I mean, I WAS MEETING JUSTIN BIEBER. I couldn’t believe it myself. We got our meet and greets around 3 pm and went in line. We were in line for a good hour, and the lady said, “Make friends! Six girls in a picture!” My group got together, and since me and my twin sister have never met Justin, my friends let us stand next to him. When we got to go in, I walked in first and saw him. He looked perfect. Literally, his face is flawless. He had on a brown shirt, a SnapBack and glasses. I said, “Hi Justin” nervously, and he said “Hey sweetie!” and held out his arms for a hug. I hugged him, then the other girls poured in and said hi and got their hugs. Before we took our picture, I said “Justin, can I kiss you?” And he said, “No there’s too many girls, lets just take a regular picture, ok?” And I was like “Oh ok…” and he said “Next time we meet, you can kiss me.” I was like ok cool, but on the inside my ovaries exploded into like a million pieces. They snapped the picture and we hugged him goodbye one last time and left. Even though it was only like 2 minutes, I’m so grateful I got to meet him. Erika Van Pelt saw her elimination on American Idol coming last night. “I knew I was going to be in the bottom,” the finalist told reporters today on a conference call. “I would’ve had to have a super, super standout, crazy, over the top performance to [advance another week]. I never had my moment!” Erika Van Pelt – “I Believe in You and Me” Van Pelt had been in the bottom trio four weeks in a row (“Those stools are uncomfortable!” she said), and admits it “really stinks” being the first of the top 10 to be sent packing. But she’s also hopeful. “I’m stoked for tour. It’s just going to be amazing. I’m so excited to be on tour, especially with this group of people. We have a ton of fun together. Even through long rehearsal days and just, you know, hell, we somehow have a good time every time we go out there. Adele is best known for her blockbuster hit, “Rolling in the Deep.” But was the singer once rolling in the hay… on camera? Yes, a French tabloid hilariously claims, as the latest issue of Public is running a cover story that alleges Adele and the ex about whom she penned songs from the album “21” once pulled a Kim Kardashian/Ray J . The magazine even includes photos with the report. In response, Adele has hired Schillings law firm to represent her in a possibly lawsuit against the tabloid. “We are informed that the French magazine Public has today published images which it claims show our client in a sex tape,” one of Adele’s attorney says. “Our client has not appeared in a sex tape as claimed in the article. Our client does not appear in the photographs. Such claims are grossly defamatory. Our client is taking legal action in relation to this matter.” Darn right. In this instance, rumor has it… wrong.
