When asked if he’d run for office, James quickly shut the idea down, saying, “I don’t think so.” But he quickly realized he was being close-minded. “I sit here and say ‘I don’t think so’, I don’t know.” Lemon followed up, “If someone tried to recruit a Lebron to run for president. [If] they said, ‘Listen they’ve got no one. If you don’t run, Trump’s gonna win,’ would you run?” Well in that case, I may,” James admitted.

Taye Diggs First Black Man To Star In “HedWig And The Angry Inch” Taye Diggs is returning to his Broadway roots…this time making history as the first Black actor to take the lead role in “Hedwig & The Angry Inch,” a musical about a washed-up German rock star who suffers a botched sex change operation and ends up chasing down a former lover who stole all his songs. Via MailOnline : He is set to return to Broadway in July. And on Thursday Taye Diggs was finally unveiled as the lead androgynous rock star in a brand new poster for the Broadway revival Hedwig And The Angry Inch. In the official poster, the 44-year-old appeared crestfallen while sporting a full face of glittering makeup that included shimmering blue eye shadow and hot pink lips. In May, Variety reported that Taye was next in line to replace Darren Criss as the famed East German rocker. The actor is the first African American man to tackle the role in the Big Apple. Taye recently gushed about the monumental role in an interview with People, referring to the opportunity as ‘the role of a lifetime’ before adding, ‘I also like wearing nail polish.’ Taye is following in the footsteps of actors Neil Patrick Harris, Michael C. Hall, and Darren Criss, who have all taken on the role of Hedwig. Taye rightfully seems pretty excited about being the first Black man to take on this legendary Broadway role. At one point, she even addressed Rocker directly, asking “Why don’t you say something homophobic or racist like in your past?” So very clever. So effective, though. Rocker’s response was what you might have expected, given the bear she was poking: “if you were a man I would knock your teeth out.” Wow. He also suggested they throw down, later. He won’t get the chance. Already second guessing John in many cases, Josh turned on him hardcore. Between premature alliances and getting stuck with people who, well, don’t really care for other races or gays, there’s not a lot that John has going for him. My name is Jackie and I met Justin at the Barclays Center meet & greet on August 2nd, 2013. My mom bought me the meet and greet tickets during pre-sale as a surprise for my 16th birthday. She bought them in November and I hadn’t found out about them until March. I waited 6 months to meet my world. When the day finally came, I had work and had to take off early. On the way to the arena, I was having trouble breathing and thinking straight, I was so nervous. When I got to the arena, I was there an hour earlier then they told us to be so I ended up being the first person on line. They let us in and gave us the wristbands and raffle tickets. After everyone had been checked in, they led up down to the basement of Barclays for the pre-show party. By that point, I was shaking and I wasn’t able to eat anything because of the nerves. During the pre-show, they did a raffle and gave away some of Justin’s things like his t-shirt or sweat towel and I ended up winning his drum stick! Then when Justin was finally ready and behind the curtain, everyone ran to get in line. I was somewhere near the middle. When it was my turn to step in the curtain, I saw him standing there laughing and interacting with the fans and I couldn’t believe he was real. He’s even more perfect in person than in pictures, and seeing his smile made everything else fade away. When it was my turn to take my picture, I ran up to him and gave him a hug and he hugged me back. I had a whole speech planned to say to him but I was so shocked that the only thing that came out was, “I love you.” After I said that, he grabbed my arm, bent down a little so we were at eye level, pointed at me and said, “No I love you!” and giggled. When I pulled back from our hug I didn’t want to let go, which is why my hand is on his stomach in our picture. I left the curtain hysterically crying, I was barely able to control myself.
