Cardi B Hoping To Release Second Studio Album This Spring

Source: Gladys Vega/Getty In April of 2018, Cardi B released her debut studio album Invasion Of Privacy to rave reviews. With hits like “Drip” feat. Migos, “I Like It” feat. J Balvin and Bad Bunny, and the anthem that caught everyone’s attention, “Bodak Yellow,” we must admit her first project slapped. Fortunately for fans, Cardi’s got another one coming this year. After an inquisitive fan asked if she’d release a new album in 2019, Kulture Kiari’s mama revealed she would. “Of course there’s gonna be an album in 2019,” she said in this Instagram Live clip . While she’s not sure it’s actually doable, she also said she hopes to release her second studio album “around the same time” that Invasion Of Privacy came out. Stay tuned. Photo: Getty

Nice Try! Cardi Clapbacks At Claims That Her Next Track Will Send Shots At Nicki Minaj

Robert Kamau/GC Images/Getty/ Theo Wargo/Getty Images for Billboard Cardi Responds To Rumors She’s Releasing A Nicki Minaj Diss Cardi B’s clapping back at claims that she’s got a super savage Nicki Minaj diss ready to go. Earlier today TMZ alleged that Bardi’s been in the studio taking shots at Onika and has a new track filled with shade at the ready. The site added that things are so bad that members of her camp are nervous about Bardi’s “serious jabs” and  while certain team Cardi campers are allegedly all for it, others think Cardi should ignore Nicki because she’s already “eclipsed her.” All the while those rumors were swirling, another website; TheJasmineBrand  shut them down themselves. According to the site, that’s simply untrue and Belcalis’ new track will be a “Bodak Yellow” adjacent, money-making anthem and not about Onika at all. “A source says that the track will have nothing to do with Minaj, nor will it take any jabs at the artist. The source says that her next song, “Will strictly be about money. It’ll remind fans of “Bodak Yellow”.” Photos by Steven Ferdman/WireImage Interestingly enough, Cardi jumped into TJB’s Instagram comments section herself as she was “getting her hair and makeup done” to corroborate their story. “] “I don’t keep s*** on wax. I confront and address PERIOD!” wrote Cardi. ” I’m number 1 on the charts right now and I’m winning awards from left to right and NEVER MENTION nobody. It’s not my fault that blogs fabricate stories about me with this woman and I address it cause I’m sick of it. I”m minding my business and people keep constantly bringing up this bulls**. I respect this blog for addressing the real.” WELP! Cardi said it herself, there’s no Nicki diss dropping—for now at least. We wouldn’t be surprised if Bardi held back on addressing Onika till it’s time to release her next album. SplashNews.com Should Cardi give the people what they want and diss Nicki???

Can’t Blame Nicki: Cardi Can’t Compete For Best New Artist At 2019 Grammys Because Of THIS

TIDAL X: Brooklyn Cardi B Not Eligible For Best New Artist At 2019 Grammys Bronx bombshell Cardi B has quite possibly had the best two years any artist on the come up has ever seen and she’s showing no signs of slowing down. Since her first chart-topping single “Bodak Yellow” broke records back in 2017, the Latina raptress has accumulated numerous accolades, married a member of the award-winning rap group, The Migos, and gave birth to her first child all while remaining on top of the Pop and Hip-Hop charts. So how come the self-proclaimed “King of New York” can’t even compete for Best New Artist at the 2019 Grammy Awards? According to Billboard,  Cardi who earned two nominations at this year’s Grammys held in February, was not eligible for nomination because of her previous nominations. The Grammys, which has adjusted the rules of Best New Artist over the years to keep up with the changing musical landscape, states that “any artist with a previous Grammy nomination as a performer” would not qualify. If Cardi B had not released an album around the time she earned her first pair of nominations for “Bodak Yellow,” she could have qualified but because she had enough music to be eligible for Best New Artist at the 2018 show and earned prior nominations, she’s disqualified from the category. Pap Nation / SplashNews.com You may remember the recent escalation in Cardi’s beef with Nicki Minaj , when she attacked Ms. Chun-Li with a stiletto at a show during NY Fashion Week, citing that Nicki talked isht about her daughter and continuously tried to “stop her bags”. Some of the Bardi gang’s pointing fingers at Onika in this scenario, which seems a little far-fetched seeing as how Nicki Minaj has never taken home a Grammy herself. What do you guys think??? Should Cardi be eligible for a Best New Artist Grammy?

Cardi B Treats Jerry Seinfeld How He Treated Kesha And Snubs He Request For A Hug

Cardi B pulls A Jerry on Jerry Seinfeld . If you remember a few years back Jerry infamously ignored Kesha’s request for a hug during an interview. Well on the latest episode of Between Two Ferns with Zack Galifianakis , Jerry stops by the show only to be replaced for a better guest, Cardi B. Two thirds through the interview the Bodak Yellow singer comes out and Zack makes Jerry sit on a milk crate to have some delightful banter with Cardi B event giving her a gift for her new baby. After some small talk they end the interview, Cardi gives Zack a hug, as Jerry waits with his arm out, but Cardi walks right by him without so much as a glance in Jerry’s direction.
