Joe Budden Says New TV Show “State Of The Culture” Will Be Nothing Like His Controversial “Joe Budden Podcast” (Exclusive)

Image via Ilya S. Savenok/Getty Images/Erika Goldring/Getty Images/Johnny Nunez/WireImage “State Of The Culture” Premieres Sept. 10 At 5 P.M. On Revolt.com & At 10 P.M. Sept 11 on Revolt TV Joe Budden says his new cable talk show will be like night and day compared to his racy online show “The Joe Budden Podcast.” The host, who caused a stir earlier this summer when he said on the podcast that drug abuse could be the source of Nicki Minaj’s recent Twitter antics , is making his foray into talk TV. He’ll join co-hosts Remy Ma and Scottie Beam for a new show “State of the Culture,” where they’ll break down the pop culture news of the day. “We try to go a little bit deeper,” Joe told us. “We just try to cover every nook and cranny, and hopefully we can execute on that.” And Budden said the new show, which premieres next week on Revolt, will be nothing like the podcast that bears his name. “My podcast is about absolutely nothing,” Budden said. “My podcast is about me and my friends bringing our group chat alive. There’s not very much structure. We just sit down and shoot the sh*t like friends. Our dynamic (on “State of the Culture”) is going to be very different from me and my friends.” The “Love & Hip Hop: New York” alum, who shares a baby son with former co-star Cyn Santana, said he’s excited to work with Beam and Remy and hopes viewers will learn something from the show every day. “I don’t just want it to be entertaining,” he said. “I want it to be enlightening as well, and every show should deliver on that front.”

Joe Budden Adds Remy Ma, Scottie Beam to State of the Culture

Source: Courtesy of Revolt / Revolt Joe Budden is done with the rap game (as far as being a “rapper” he says he’s retired), but is now flourishing as a podcast and talk show host. Speaking of the latter, the New Jersey native has announced that Remy Ma and Scottie Beam will be his co-hosts on State of the Culture on Revolt .  The show, which is being executive produced and hosted by Budden, is set to premiere on digital platforms every Monday starting September 10 at 5 pm ET. The show will then hit your television on REVOLT on Tuesday at 10 pm ET. Along for the ride will be Remy Ma and radio/TV personality Scottie Beam to speak on “culturally relevant” topics. The first season will run for 10 weeks focusing on any and all topics, from a Hip-Hop perspective. “We’ve all worked extremely hard to get to this point and feel really good about what we’ve built,” said Joe Budden via a press release. “Shooting in my hometown Jersey City helps to cement this as one of my proudest moments.” You should know Remy Ma, respected MC and reality TV star , while Scottie Beam got her start as part of Hot 97’s Ebro in the Morning  before moving on to brand partnerships and currently co-hosting the Black Girl Podcast. Shots Fired At CiCi? Future Blasts Ex On “My Collection,” “She F***ed 2 Rappers And 3 Singers”

Future Not Finished Talking About Ciara, Goes IN On “My Collection” After the legal troubles Future faced following his little Twitter rants about Ciara you would think the rapper wouldn’t want those kind of problems anymore — but apparently Nayvadius is still out here not giving any fawks because his latest release ‘HNDRXX’ features a song called “My Collection” that goes pretty damn hard at his baby mom — and the lyrics seem to be undeniably about her. She told me she was an angel She f**ked two rappers and three singers She got a few athletes on speed dial I’m tryna get the case dismissed before I see trial And these codeine habits ain’t got nothin’ to do with my lil’ child No this codeine ain’t got nothin’ to do with my lil’ child Considering the custody case the pair had over baby Future it seems pretty obvious who he’s talking about. Not to mention Bow Wow and 50 Cent are two rappers. Who are the three singers though? And which athletes are on speed dial. Obviously Russell Wilson, maybe Amare Stoudemire too… Who else though? The lyric appears later in the song as well as Future raps: She told me she was an angel She f**ked two rappers and three singers I’ma keep it genuine and tell the truth to you I got this jawn, she know what to do with me And right now I don’t know what to do with you I don’t wanna sound like I’m bein’ rude with you She caught a red eye, leavin’ L.A I shoulda gave her to the valet And I had to tell her ’bout Miami After she came with no panty The last part of the verse sounds like it’s about somebody else though. Maybe Larsa? What do you think about Future’s messy lyrics? Should he leave Ciara alone? After all she’s now married to someone else with a baby on the way. Or is he entitled to tell his story as he so chooses?
