Source: Scott Dudelson / Getty Jussie Smollett has returned to Chicago after a weekend in Los Angeles and in the wake of the alleged vicious attack he suffered. The Empire actor is back in town to complete shooting for the series, and police still have questions for him regarding the assault. TMZ reports : A production source tells us Smollett flew back into the Windy City Sunday, after his weekend show in Los Angeles. We’re told Smollett shot scenes for one of the final episodes of the season Monday and did a table read with the cast Tuesday … security was present the entire time. Law enforcement sources tell us cops want to speak with Jussie while he’s in town as part of their ongoing investigation. As for where he’s staying while in town … a source close to Jussie tells us he’s back at the same apartment complex where he was living at the time of the attack. The outlet adds in its report that Chicago authorities have more video footage of the area where the attack allegedly happened according to sources but has not yet released the images to the public. — Photo: Getty

Demi Lovato turns 26 years old today. In one sense, this is a very unhappy birthday, considering the singer is celebrating it far away from friends and family members in rehab. In another sense, however, this is a very very happy birthday. How so? How can we make that determination when Lovato is in some treatment center and will be remaining there for the foreseeable future? Because at least she’s alive, that’s why. It’s been made clear at this point that Lovato really did come close to death on the morning of July 24 when she overdosed from an unknonwn, possibly tainted drug . From that standpoint, those close to the singer are simply grateful she’s somewhere out there, able to acknowledge today’s occasion. Madison De La Garza is one of these people. The half-sister of this beloved singer, Madison shared an extra sweet and special message about Lovato on her Instagram page Monday afternoon. “Today could have been one of the worst days of my life, but instead i get to spend it thanking God, the incredible doctors, Demi’s team and everyone across the world who offered their support,” wrote the 16-year old as a caption to the precious image down below. It features Lovato holding her baby half-sibling oh so long ago. The note continues: “Without all of these people I wouldn’t have my big sister anymore. “I’ve been thinking about how I wish that everyone could see the silly little things that she does, like how her nostrils move when she says certain words and when she brushes my hair behind my ear when I’m trying to sleep, because those are the things I’m thankful for today.” Last we heard, Lovato has understandably canceled the remainder of her 2018 tour in order to focus on her well-being, both physically and mentally. Concluded Madison: they seem so small, but those little things make up my sister – not a singer, not a celebrity, and definitely not what she’s been described as in the media – she’s a daughter, a friend, and my big sister… and i am so, so thankful that i can tell her happy birthday. #happybirthdaydemi. How so very sweet and personal, right? Across the Internet, an endless array of self-proclaimed “Lovatics” sent along their best wishes to Demi as well. “Wishing the happiest of birthdays to the queen @ddlovato,” one person wrote. “Love you forever & thinking of you today.” Another chimed in as follows: “Happy Birthday Demi!! Hope you are feeling better. You are my inspiration, my idol. You always put a smile on my face. You are a survivor. We love you.” Truth be told, we doubt Lovato has Internet access right now. It can’t be helpful to her healing process. But we just hope she’s at least somewhat aware of all the people out there who are thinking of her today and everyday; wishing and praying for her well-being. Please hang in there, Demi. As impressive as the stupid things that Eric Trump says to defend his dad may be, nobody can outdo what Rudy Giuliani said over the weekend.. In an appearance on Meet The Press with Chuck Todd, Giuliani defended holding Trump back from testifying in the Mueller probe. As you will see in this video, part of Giuliani's argument led him to make the astounding declaration that “Truth isn't truth.” Speaking to Chuck Todd, Giuliani once again defended why Donald Trump has not simply sat down to answer questions that Mueller has for him. “Look,” Giuliani said. “I am not going to be rushed into having him testify so that he gets trapped into perjury.” Everyone's response, that the best defense against perjury charges is to simply tell the truth, is apparently not convincing for Giuliani. “And when you tell me that, you know, he should testify because he's going to tell the truth and he shouldn't worry, well, that's so silly,” Giuliani claims. The former mayor tries to explain: “Because it's somebody's version of the truth.” Chuck Todd finds that line odd, and asserts the obvious: “Truth is truth.” “No, it isn't truth,” Giuliani responds. ” Truth isn't truth. ” “Truth isn't truth?” Todd exclaims, incredulous. “Mr. Mayor, do you realize –” “No, no,” Giuliani, who seems to have just realized what came out of his mouth, interrupts. Chuck Todd correctly predicts: “This is going to become a bad meme.” His nonsensical claim that “truth isn't truth,” which seems born from some sort of Orwellian nightmare, did indeed become something of a meme. On Monday, Giuliani took to Twitter to try to explain why he was spouting off nonsense on Meet The Press . “My statement was not meant as a pontification on moral theology,” Giuliani protests. “But one referring to the situation where two people make precisely contradictory statements,” Giuliani says. “The classic 'he said, she said' puzzle.” “Sometimes further inquiry can reveal the truth,” Giuliani says. “Other times it doesn't.” His “explanation” doesn't really mean much. He's trying to say that Trump and Comey may have different versions of events, but two people with different versions of events does not amount to perjury charges. The concern by members of Trump's team, of course, is that Trump will make contradictory statements under oath or accidentally incriminate himself. Those are things that a compulsive liar who doesn't know anything about politics or legalities yet is convinced that he's the world's greatest expert in everything might do. And because everyone but Trump himself knows Trump's dispositions, many on both sides expect that he would commit perjury if he gives any sort of sworn testimony. That is what Giuliani fears but … for obvious reasons, he did not phrase it that way. Giuliani has made a number of outlandish statements while actings as Trump's personal attorney. From tweeting the word “you” to the upsetting claim that porn stars are worthless , he's said a lot and most of it has not made him appear to be particularly competent. Some believe that Trump hiring Giuliani as his attorney is simply a case of water finding its own level. Others, however, believe that all of Giuliani's bumbling is part of some master strategy to catch his enemies off-guard. At the very least, Trump might be able to try to appeal a future conviction on the grounds of inadequate representation.
Future Not Finished Talking About Ciara, Goes IN On “My Collection” After the legal troubles Future faced following his little Twitter rants about Ciara you would think the rapper wouldn’t want those kind of problems anymore — but apparently Nayvadius is still out here not giving any fawks because his latest release ‘HNDRXX’ features a song called “My Collection” that goes pretty damn hard at his baby mom — and the lyrics seem to be undeniably about her. She told me she was an angel She f**ked two rappers and three singers She got a few athletes on speed dial I’m tryna get the case dismissed before I see trial And these codeine habits ain’t got nothin’ to do with my lil’ child No this codeine ain’t got nothin’ to do with my lil’ child Considering the custody case the pair had over baby Future it seems pretty obvious who he’s talking about. Not to mention Bow Wow and 50 Cent are two rappers. Who are the three singers though? And which athletes are on speed dial. Obviously Russell Wilson, maybe Amare Stoudemire too… Who else though? The lyric appears later in the song as well as Future raps: She told me she was an angel She f**ked two rappers and three singers I’ma keep it genuine and tell the truth to you I got this jawn, she know what to do with me And right now I don’t know what to do with you I don’t wanna sound like I’m bein’ rude with you She caught a red eye, leavin’ L.A I shoulda gave her to the valet And I had to tell her ’bout Miami After she came with no panty The last part of the verse sounds like it’s about somebody else though. There are a lot of evil people in the world. According to some folks out there, we just elected one as President of the United States. But The Hollywood Gossip has gone ahead and tracked down what many would have to consider to be the absolute WORST person in the world: 56-year old David Grisham. He's the self-proclaimed leader of a religious fundamentalist group called “Repent Amarillo,” whose mission is to “preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and wage spiritual warfare on the demonic realm,” according to its Facebook page. He stopped by a mall in Texas over the weekend and heckled a bunch of children in line to meet Santa Claus, telling them that Saint Nick isn't real. That Santa guy over there is just a “man in a suit,” Grisham told these kids, after explaining to the camera that “Jesus died on the cross to pay for our sins” and that it was time to “tell the truth” about Christmas. What happened when Grisham was confronted by a few men at the mall? What did he tell them about the grave “sin” parents were committing by lying to their sons and daughters about Santa? Watch, find out and shake your head over the fact that people such as this exist:
Amy Schumer found herself in an awkward situation over the weekend in Tampa. The comedian was in a battleground state for the upcoming Presidential election and therefore decided to try something different with the crowd. She actually called a Donald Trump supporter up on stage because she wanted to pick his brain. She wanted to know what a calm, reasonable and rational person would say was his basis for choosing Donald Trump to serve as the most powerful man in the world. And this is what transpired: Amy Schumer vs. Trump Supporters! Like we said: AWKWARD! The man basically said he was voting for Trump as an anti-Hillary Clinton maneuver, which is likely how many Republicans would respond to this question. After she thanked the man for his opinion, though, Schumer referred to Trump as an “orange, sexual-assaulting, fake-college-starting monster.” And this got the crowd all riled up. Many started to boo. A handful got up and left. Schumer seemed a bit taken aback by the response, telling security to find the people loudly voicing their negative viewpoints in order to escort them out of the arena. But she tells Entertainment Weekly that she was actually totally cool with everything that transpired at the show. “I loved the crowd and my show in Tampa last night!” Schumer told EW . “I want to thank the 8,400 people who stayed. We had a great time! We have always depended on comedians to make us laugh and tell the truth. “I am proud to continue that tradition.” Schumer never shies away from controversial topics, that much has been apparent for years now. The Trainwreck star has opened up about her first sexual experience… told everyone how old she was when she gave her first blow job … and spoken out on our need for gun control. So it’s not as though she’s afraid to wade into scandalous waters. But we’re still guessing she wasn’t prepared to actually get booed on stage. That has to be jarring for any comic, no matter how long you’ve been cracking jokes in front of people.
