Teen Burglars Held At Gunpoint And Forced To Call Cops On Themselves If THIS doesn’t teach these lil bastards to cut out the shenanigans, then nothin’ will… Via KATU A homeowner caught three 14-year-olds burglarizing his Coos Bay house on Sunday afternoon, and forced one of the boys to call 9-1-1 to report the attempted theft. The three boys were all taken to the Douglas County Juvenile Detention Facility on several charges including burglary II, criminal trespassing, and marijuana possession. The homeowner was armed when he found the boys burglarizing his home on Terramar Road, the Coos County Sheriff’s Office said. According to emergency dispatchers, he told one of the teens to call police and report the burglary in progress. One of the suspects was supposed to be babysitting his 8-year-old step-sister. This is tragic. Man Shoots Stepdaughter He Thought Was A Burglar She had her whole life ahead of her. According to The Gazette: A 14-year-old girl mistaken for a burglar was fatally shot by her stepfather Monday at their residence in northeast Colorado Springs, Colorado Springs police said. According to a statement from police spokesman Larry Herbert, the shooting happened just before 6 a.m. on the 4000 block of Ascendant Drive, off North Carefree Circle and Peterson Road. “The initial call came in as a burglary-in-progress,” Herbert said. The girl was taken to an area hospital where she died of gunshot wounds. The names of the girl and her stepfather will not be released by police, citing an ongoing investigation, Herbert said. No arrests have been made; Herbert said the District Attorney’s office will release any findings or updates. We can only imagine how the man feels knowing he shot his stepdaughter. Shutterstock

According to TMZ Update: We’ve learned cops now say the trespasser and the attempted burglar are one in the same so they’ve just booked him on the burglary charge. Law enforcement sources tell us he’s a 27-year-old man who believes he and Rihanna are friends. Lesson 1: NEVER return to the scene of the crime. Cops think that’s exactly what a rather dumb dude did this morning at Rihanna’s house … a dumb dude who is now under arrest. The guy was trying to scale the singer’s wall at her Pacific Palisades home at around 11 am. Rihanna’s security called 911 and cops came out and arrested the trespasser … they found him about a mile from her home. Now here’s the dumb part. Someone trespassed on Rihanna’s property on Sunday and threw a chair through her window. Cops are investigating the attempted burglary, and our law enforcement sources say they’ve reviewed the security footage and the would-be burglar looks VERY MUCH like the guy who was arrested today.
