The Blast is reporting that the 26-year-old’s felony theft charges, stemming from a failure to perform in Liberty County, Georgia have been dropped. Court documents show that officials in the city dropped the charges sharing that the District Attorney rejected the charges. 21 originally surrendered to the Liberty County Sheriff’s Department on February 15 but was later released. The club promoter alleged that the rapper was given a $9,500 advance for a 2016 show but never hit the stage. The promoter also alleges that the rapper was given the remaining $7,500 balance, resulting in a believed loss of $17,000. Authorities were originally notified of the allegations in October 2016 with a warrant issued at that time. The promoter notified authorities once more of the outstanding warrant once 21 was picked up by ICE agents the morning of Super Bowl Sunday. But like other youth from his home state of Maryland, Durant wasn’t gifted with endless riches to go to the next level scholastically and now, he’s using his platform to assist others with that journey via the new Durant Center facility in Prince George’s County. The Washington Post writes : About two years ago, Durant was looking for ways to widen his philanthropic portfolio. He had, a year earlier, signed a two-year contract with Golden State worth about $54 million. His foundation had overseen the construction of parks and basketball courts throughout the United States, including some in the Washington area. But now he wanted something more far-reaching, so he attended a conference for start-up companies and met representatives for College Track, a company that uses a 10-year plan to shepherd students from their early teenage years through college graduation. Before long, Durant found himself visiting a center in Oakland, Calif., discussing how to bring something like that to Washington while paying attention to that facility’s students. “He was interested in understanding their journey and what types of services we provided that really change their trajectory,” said Elissa Salas, College Track’s chief executive. The organization, whose collaboration with Durant would lead to its first site on the East Coast, considered property in the District — Salas said a second College Track location will open this autumn in Congress Heights in Southeast D.C. and a third is in the early planning stages — but that Durant was adamant Prince George’s County seemed right. A young man from Milwaukee has been arrested in connection to a gang rape reported by a 19-year-old girl. The girl met the man who was using a FAKE name on a profile on a dating app called “tagged”, thinking they were going on a date — and then she was allegedly ambushed and raped by several men. Here is the entire police report transcript, according to Journal Sentine l. A 19-year-old woman came to the District 5 police station on Nov. 13 and said she had met someone named “Kels,” who she later identified as McAfee, two days earlier via a dating app called Tagged. They agreed to meet near North 58th Street and West Hampton Avenue, where she got into his silver SUV. McAfee didn’t say much and as they turned north onto North 64th Street, the woman said, another man she had not seen sat up from the backseat, wrapped his arm over her face, pointed a gun at her neck and said, “get back here,” before blindfolding her. After about 15 minutes driving, the woman said, the SUV stopped and the two men led her up some stairs to an apartment living room where she heard several men’s voices, some identifying one of the men as “Boss.” Boss ordered everyone to undress and someone else said to get the box of condoms. She said she was ordered to perform sex acts and was continually assaulted by the men over about five hours until Boss drove her back to her car, still blindfolded, while she was in the backseat with McAfee. Boss told her not to turn around once she was let go or they would kill her. Instead of calling 911 immediately, the woman did her own online sleuthing, she told police. She posted on Facebook the photo of “Kels” from the Tagged app and asked for help identifying him.She then found a Facebook page for Von ThaDon Baker that used the same photo and then learned his first name was Davoncia. Police then helped fully identify McAfee, whom the woman picked out of a photo array as the man she had met at 58th and Hampton. McAfee at first denied assaulting anyone or even having a Tagged account. But the next day, he confessed that he would set up the dates, pick up the women with a second man hiding in the backseat who would blindfold them before they were taken to an apartment in the 5300 block of North 63rd Street. McAfee said he was the driver in at least five incidents, but only assaulted one of the women, and that he believed others in the group probably committed similar crimes at other locations without him. Last week, police searched the North 63rd Street address and found an ID and benefits cards belonging to the woman who reported the Nov. 11 assaults, plus handgun ammunition and a loaded magazine for a handgun. Hopefully, the rest of these men involved are caught ASAP!

B ill Cosby has been sentenced to 3 to 10 years for three charges of aggravated indecent sexual assault. His lawyers are still demanding he be released for prison. See Also: Bill Cosby Sentenced To 3 To 10 Years In Prison For Sexual Assault Conviction According to the Los Angeles Sentinel , “In a brand new court filing on Tuesday, former Montgomery County District Attorney Bruce Castor confirmed that the civil depositions used to convict Bill Cosby should never have been used at all and the comedian agreed to waive his Fifth Amendment rights and sit for the queries knowing that the documents would always be kept private.” Castor was not allowed to testify at Cosby’s trial. Castor claims there is a feud between himself and Montgomery County Judge Steven T. O’Neill, the judge who presided over Cosby’s two trials. Allegedly, this feud is due to O’Neill having an affair with a “female Assistant District Attorney employed by the Montgomery County District Attorney.” In 1999, Castor claims he was accused of running a smear campaign against O’Neill, they were both running for the Republican nomination for the position of Montgomery County District Attorney. The woman who O’Neill was having an affair with showed up at one of their debates, which O’Neill claimed was set up by Castor, which he has denied. The Los Angeles Sentinel reports, “O’Neill ruled that Castor couldn’t testify on behalf of Cosby because the judge claimed the former DA was ‘not credible,’ Castor said he viewed that as an attempt to hurt him publicly and it was a measure of political and professional payback.” Considering this new information, Camille Cosby released a statement, which read, “Before being sentenced for a crime he did not commit, Bill Cosby filed a motion demanding that Judge O’Neill provide a full accounting of his longstanding feud with and bias against Bruce Castor.” The statement continued, “The motion explained that Mr. Cosby, after the feud was disclosed in an unsourced tabloid article, retained a former FBI agent to investigate the judge. The former agent discovered that there was in fact a longstanding feud between the two that dated back to a 1999 political campaign for DA. … The judge’s self-serving order, preventing as it did the testimony of Mr. Castor, successfully kept the truth from being disclosed not only in his courtroom but also in the court of public opinion.” Cosby’s attorney are asking for his immediate release. Dennis Hof, a world famous brothel owner and reality television personality, was found dead Tuesday at his often-frequented Love Ranch in Nevada. He was 72 years old. A Republican candidate for the state Assembly in a southern Nevada district, Hof reportedly died in his sleep just hours after a celebration that featured pornography star Ron Jeremy… former Arizona sheriff Joe Arpaio … and anti-tax activist Grover Norquist. This news was confirmed by Hof’s campaign manager, Chuck Muth. Jeremy, the best known porn star on the planet, actually found Hof’s body early on Tuesday. Hof formerly anchored the series Cathouse, which aired on HBO and which chronicled life at his sex-laden residence. However, he recently made national headlines after earning a primary victory over a three-term Republican in a rural district in Southern Nevada. The Nye County Sheriff’s office said Tuesday that it was investigating Hof’s death. “We had a wonderful event last night,” Muth told the Reno Gazette Journal. “He was having the time of his life.” In the celebrity gossip universe, Hof was perhaps best known for running the brothel at which Lamar Odom suffered a near-fatal overdose in 2015. Speaking to NPR earlier this year, Hof was unabashed about his work as a legal pimp, along with his political aspirations. “Dennis Hof is the Trump of Pahrump,” he said, outlining the way people spoke about him in the most populous town in the district and adding of himself: “He’s rich, he’s famous, he’s got nerves of steel. He likes hot girls.” The Las Vegas Review-Journal reported a few months ago, however, that numerous former prostitutes had accused Hof of sexual assault. The cases were never prosecuted and, according to USA Today, Hof denied the allegations. Hof posted bail for Liberace’s former lover, Scott Thorson, in 2013, after Thorson took up residence at the Bunny Ranch. He also hosted a “Get My Grandpa Laid” contest on the Howard Stern show later that year, often doing these sorts of explicit publicity stunts in order to stay in the news. As for his unexpected candiacy? “It’s all because Donald Trump was the Christopher Columbus for me,” Hof said of why he won his primary. “He found the way, and I jumped on it.” And Hof could actually still win the seat for which he was running. Ballots for the November 6 election have already been printed. Outlets say that notices of Hof’s death will be posted at the polls. If he should win, according to a spokesman for the Nevada secretary of state, the seat would be considered vacant. Commissioners from the three counties in the district would then appoint another Republican to the position. “This is not anything that I would have ever guessed would happen,” said Hof’s Democratic opponent, Lesia Romanov. “My heart goes out to those who care about him. Just a crazy turn of events.”
High School Football Player Taken Off Team Due To Homelessness A homeless high school student in Washington, D.C. has been booted from his school’s football team , despite a great scoring record and a standing offer for a college scholarship. According to NBC , 18-year-old Jamal Speaks is fielding an offer to play college football at Temple University. However, the Washington D.C. teen is being denied his spot on the Ballou High School team over the fact that he does not currently have a permanent home address. The young man’s father is deceased, and he has no relationship with his mother. With no other family able to take him in, he sleeps on his friend’s couches while maintaining his studies and playing for the team. However, this is somehow frowned upon by the District of Columbia Interscholastic Athletic Association. The committee has ruled that Speaks is ineligible because they can’t verify his address. Meanwhile, Speaks has been in the same situation for the past two years, and has been upfront with the school and the athletic program about the fact that he has no permanent address. He believed that the issue had long been resolved, so he was shocked to be pulled from the game last Saturday night before kickoff, while Temple recruiters were waiting in the stands to watch him play. But while the rapper is on the East Coast, a serious situation went down at his Crenshaw clothing establishment. A fight reportedly almost turned deadly as shots were fired in the parking lot of Hussle’s The Marathon Clothing store in Los Angeles, California on Friday (September 14). Witnesses tell TMZ that a huge fight broke out in the parking lot of the store. During the alleged brawl, one of the people involved pulled out a gun and fired a couple shots into the air in an attempt to stop the melee. Those involved then proceeded to disperse from the scene before police finally arrived. Authorities showed up a short time later and discovered blood in the parking lot. According to the report, they questioned employees inside the store who did not offer any information that would assist in solving the crime. Police are hoping to review security footage in an effort to pinpoint a suspect. The rapper’s clothing store is only one of his attempts at making sure to bring business to his beloved hometown. Back in February, he partnered with Vector90 and the District 8 Los Angeles City Council to launch a coworking space in South Los Angeles. Only a month later, he was part of an investment team that put in a bid to purchase a historic Los Angeles hotel. As of now, no one has been arrested in the shooting at The Marathon Clothing.
Another week, another Bachelorette-based scandal. And we’re not talking this time about who Becca Kufrin kissed and/or who she sent home on the latest episode of this ABC hit. Instead, we’re talking about more scandalous behavior by one of the men vying for the heart of this season’s Bachelorette. Following the reveal that Garrett Yrigoyen had shared many gross and inappropriate Instagram messages not long before he was cast on Season 14, we can now report that Lincoln Adim was convicted of indecent assault and batter… … mere days before the new season premiered last month. The conviction took place on May 21, with the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office saying that Adim – who remains on the show through Episode 4 – groped and assaulted a woman in May of 2016 on board a cruise ship. He was ultimately given two years probation for these acts. Press Secretary Jake Wark of the Suffolk County District Attorney’s Office has said the following to the media about what transpired with Lincoln in this case: “The judge ordered him to stay away from the victim and attend three Alcoholics Anonymous meetings per week during those two years. “If he complies with the judge’s orders, he will not have to serve out his term, but if he fails to comply with those orders or re-offends, he could be ordered to serve out the year behind bars.” So… a current suitor on the current season of The Bachelorette may face prison time for his inappropriate and illegal actions on board a cruise with a fellow passenger?!? This is NOT a good look for the series. Former Bachelor contestant Ashley Spivey wrote on Twitter Wednesday that she was disappointed in ABC and The Bachelor for permitting Adim on the program. “I am honestly horrified that Lincoln,who was charged with indecent assault and battery, was allowed to go on the show,” wrote Ashley, adding: “I do not understand how a serious crime like this was missed during background checks.” It’s a pretty good question, isn’t it? Spivey did later qualify her stance. She said that she doesn’t think ABC purposely let someone with this history on the series; she doesn’t think this was some ratings ploy. She just chalks it up to negligence instead. “Let me be clear that I do not think production would ever allow this for drama purposes,” added Spivery. “I really think it is a huge problem for whoever does the background checks into the contestants.” By law, the district attorney’s office adds of Lincoln, without providing exact details of what the reality star did, “he is expected to register as a sex offender.” Yikes . Last month, Yrigoyen apologized after garnering backlash for Liking offensive posts on social media that mocked the transgender community, a Parkland high school shooting survivor, undocumented immigrants and more. Kufrin came out and defended Garrett in the wake of this scandal. “I want viewers to be open to everyone, and I want them to go through this season with me and watch my love story unfold with all of these men,” she said a few weeks ago. “Because that’s how I went into this journey. According to TMZ , the District Attorney either doesn’t believe he has the evidence to convict Taquari Hatch, or, doesn’t believe that Taquari is guilty. In either case, he has decided not to file charges against him. Initially it was alleged that Taquari had committed identity theft in order to authorize wire transfers out of Boosie’s bank account. Taquari has maintained his innocence from day one. Boosie still ain’t f**kin’ with him.
