A beloved TV host who happened to also be a member of one of Hollywood’s most famous families has passed away under mysterious circumstances. Clark Gable III died at home at the age of 30 today.  Gable was the grandson of Hollywood legend Clark Gable. Though never as famous as the iconic star of Gone With the Wind star, the younger Gable managed to escape from his grandfather’s long shadow and make a name for himself during his short time on earth. Gable was a business owner and television personality who hosted three seasons of the popular reality series Cheaters. Sadly, his life was cut short for reasons that still are not entirely clear. No cause of death has been determined, and Gable’s family seems utterly shocked over the loss. Gable’s mother, Tracy Scheff, spoke with Radar Online about today’s tragedy: “I got a call from his girlfriend, and I didn’t even know what she was saying, she was so hysterical,” Scheff told the site. “He was an amazing kid, a very loving and extremely sensitive soul.” Clark’s sister, Kayley Gable, mourned her brother on Facebook, writing: “My brother was found unresponsive this morning…I love you Clarkie, I’m so sorry we couldn’t save you. “My heart is broken and shattered.” Gable lived a tumultuous life that sometimes made him a fixture in tabloid headlines. In 2009, he was stabbed in the ribs during a fight at a party. One year later, he was arrested for shining a laser pointer at an LAPD helicopter and served 10 days in jail. Gable’s life stabilized in recent years, however. In 2018, he welcomed his first child, a daughter named Shore. Friends and family say Gable was a thoroughly devoted father, and his mission in the final year of his life was clear — to provide the best possible life for his daughter. Sadly, that mission was cut tragically short. Gable’s family says he had no known existing health conditions, and they have no inkling as to what might have caused his tragic passing.
