Chris Lopez: I Don’t Hate Kailyn Lowry Anymore!

The relationship between Kailyn Lowry and Chris Lopez has seen more than its fair share of ups and downs. Beginning when Lopez dumped Lowry while she was pregnant , Teen Mom 2 obsessives have been fixated on Lux’s parents — which is interesting, as Chris doesn’t even appear on the show. Still, Kail’s comments and her social media interactions with Lopez have offered plenty of grist for the gossip mill. Kail has called Chris a deadbeat dad and accused him of misleading his Instagram followers by posting pics in which it looks as though he’s a part of Lux’s life. For his part, Lopez has accused Lowry of lying to her fans and intentionally misrepresenting him for the sake of creating TV-friendly drama. Yes, at one point, it was a very ugly situation, but remarkably, Kail and Chris have managed to turn their co-parenting relationship around. They may not be besties, but they recently stunned fans when they cordially collaborated on Lux’s first birthday party. Earlier this week, Chris shocked TM2 aficionados once again when he took to Twitter to promote Kail’s latest memoir. “Grab a copy of A Letter of Love if you haven’t, I tried to act like I didn’t want to read it…but I did lol,” Lopez tweeted. “And even though it’s things about me I may not agree with, overall proud of her! [I don’t know] [about] y’all but I don’t know many people that have 4 published books lol.” The man has a point. Unless you used to hit the dive bars of Maine with a young Stephen King, you’ve probably never spent any time with a 26-year-old who’s penned multiple bestsellers. And Chris deserves a good deal of credit for promoting his ex’s latest, because he doesn’t always come off as the greatest guy in this book. “I’ve had my bedroom window broken while the baby was asleep with me in the room,” Lowry writes of a dark time that occurred after one of her many breakups with Lopez. “My back door had been broken while all of my kids were at home, and I’ve had s**t about me told to my children.” Hard to come back from something like that, but it looks like Kail and Chris are doing their best. Of course, this situation will likely lead to more rumors that Lopez and Lowry are back together , but we doubt either of them are too bothered by that. Ben Affleck & Lindsay Shookus: Planning a Wedding Even Though He’s Still Married?!

It’s been almost a year since the world first learned that Ben Affleck and Lindsey Shookus are dating , and these days, the couple is reportedly ready to take the next step together. Unfortunately, there are some sizable barriers blocking their path. According to a new report from Entertainment Tonight Lindsey is seeking a commitment from Ben, who seems hesitant to pop the question. But to his credit, there’s a very good reason for that: “Lindsay and Ben are very much in love,” a source tells the outlet. “During Ben and Jennifer [Garner’s] split, Lindsay truly felt villainized. Every day she spent with Ben out in the world for people to see felt like another day of public scrutiny, but her love for Ben was worth it,” the insider adds.  “They both learned to stick by each other during those painful months.” See, therein lies the issue. The source makes it sound like Affleck and Garner’s split was an ugly chapter in their lives that’s now over and done with. But the fact is Ben and Jen still aren’t divorced . Yes, despite the fact Affleck and Garner have been separated for three years, they’re still legally married. We’re sure that’s primarily because of legal and financial entanglements, but still … Lindsay probably isn’t too thrilled about the situation. The insider adds that Ben and Lindsay are planning to spend their lives together, but have thus far avoided any public discussion of marriage: “Ben has worked incredibly hard on his sobriety and Lindsay has been his rock. He will be forever grateful for all her love and support,” says the source. “They are both constantly being asked if they are planning to tie the knot, but for now they taking it one day at a time.” It’s good that he’s taking his recovery seriously, but we can’t help but think Ben’s leaning pretty hard on that “but, babe, my sobriety” excuse: “Ben knows he loves Lindsay, but he wants to take things slow for the sake of his sobriety. He’s actually been told to take it slow and he’s heeding that advice,” the insider claims. “Ben isn’t ready to propose and has no plans to get engaged anytime soon, but Lindsay feels he is worth the wait.” We’re rooting for ya, Shook. Kailyn Lowry Says Chris Lopez is Her First Love (Wait, What?!?)

Kailyn Lowry has dated many men. We say this without a hint of judgment; it's simply a fact. The Teen Mom 2 star has been married once and has three babies by three different men. But while Kailyn has open been very candid about these relationships, both their ups and their downs, we were shocked by something she said a new Q&A session on her official blog. What bombshell did she drop about third baby daddy Chris Lopez? You'll be as shocked as we were when you find out below… 1. He’s a Deadbeat Dad! This is what Lowry said about Chris Lopez not long after her son Lux was born. She came down hard on him in March of 2018 for never actually be there for his child. 2. Instagram Isn’t Real Life “Don’t be an Instagram parent.” This is what Kailyn wrote in response to Lopez sharing a photo online of Lux despite, in her view, rarely being around to care for him. 3. But That was Then Of late, Lowry has said slightly more flattering things about Lopez. Heck, she allegedly wants to use his his sperm to get pregnant again , which means she can’t TOTALLY hate the guy. 4. Still, We Weren’t Prepared for This In the Q&A we cited above, Lowry was asked the following question: “Out of all the obstacles in life you’ve overcome, which was the toughest? Why? How did you get through it?” She considered this inquiry and gave a lengthy response. 5. Well, There Was My First Huge Break-Up… “When I think about everything I’ve been through, two things instantly come to mind,” Lowry said to open her response. “First was moving on from living with Jo and his family, and into an apartment alone with [first son] Isaac. The whole struggle of no longer being a “family” and understanding my feelings that went into all of those decisions was really tough.” Fair enough, right? 6. Kailyn Continued: “I really struggled with the realization that the entire situation I was in, including my relationship with Jo, was not meant for me. I was so thankful that Jo’s family was there for me, but Jo and I weren’t meant for each other. Of course, even though I knew this, it was still hard to see him moving on. Kailyn Lowry Rules at Halloween, Coparenting!

Recently, Kailyn Lowry treated Lux to his first Disneyland trip . As a mom, she makes sure that her sons experience the joys that life and childhood have to offer. Over the weekend, she and her sons enjoyed an early Halloween celebration. And yes, of course there are pictures. On top of showing that she knows how to do Halloween right, Kailyn Lowry also made it very clear that she’s totally nailing this whole coparenting thing. First of all, look at these three precious boys and their mom. Kailyn is positively glowing with maternal joy. Remember — we all love Halloween as adults, either because we like the parties or because we like the movie marathons or because we like yard decorations or we like this time of year or it’s Gay Christmas or we just love any excuse to dress up and drink. But children? Halloween is a truly magical, wonderful night as children. It’s an adventure. You get to dress up and go to people’s houses and get free candy. As adults, we can all just buy candy. Kids don’t have that luxury. For them, especially at the ages of Isaac and Lincoln, Halloween is a miracle . But Kailyn’s sons weren’t the only kids invited to the pre-Halloween festivities. Here, we see Isaac and Lincoln posing with Vivi. Who is Vivi, you might ask? Jo Rivera and his fiancee, Vee Torres, were hanging out with Kailyn because Isaac is Jo’s son, too. Vivi is that couple’s young daughter. Coparenting is not always easy, but unless there are very good reasons to do otherwise, kids might be better off spending a holiday with both parents (if they’re getting along amicably) than being juggled back and forth between alternating holidays. And yes, Javi Marroquin was also there — which is no surprise. Kailyn and Briana DeJesus are feuding over Javi , if reports are to be believed, so we’d say that Kailyn cares about him quite a bit. Let’s not politicize Isaac and Lincoln’s meeting with this police mascot, folks. It’s not a political statement. Also, children need to know how to interact with and, usually, to trust police. (You can make all of the furry jokes that you like, though) Sadly, Lincoln and Isaac might have more police contact than any child should need to if Chris Lopez, Lux’s father, doesn’t change his ways. We’ve all learned the scary reason Kailyn keeps Chris Lopez away , and it’s about so much more than unsigned paternity papers. Reportedly, Chris Lopez has been physically abusive towards Kailyn, even going so far as hitting her while she was holding their baby. So Chris Lopez is conspicuously absent from this photo — with good reason. A shame that things were too awkward and Javi Marroquin couldn’t bring his alleged girlfriend Briana DeJesus . (Kidding! But can you imagine ?) No, but seriously. Not all families look like a creepy 1950s fantasy with a man and a woman and 2.5 kids. It’s fine if they do, but a lot of families are a lot more complicated. What matters is that you find a healthy and safe way to make it work, and that you always put the kids first. Kailyn Lowry: Fighting Chris Lopez for Custody of Their Baby?!

Kailyn Lowry really does have a wonderful little life, doesn’t she? She has a beautiful home with three beautiful children, one a precious little newborn she just brought home. She just finished her bachelor’s degree in May — the first Teen Mom to complete an undergraduate degree! — and it looks like she’s setting herself up well for when the MTV paychecks dry up. In all the recent photos she’s shared of herself with her kids, she looks really, really happy. It’s nice to see. But while there are a whole lot of good things going for Kailyn, it can’t be denied that there’s a fair bit of drama going on behind the scenes. Or, well, not “behind the scenes,” really. It’s pretty much just out there in the open. And that’s largely because of the father of her third child, Chris Lopez. We’ve been hearing all about Chris ever since Kailyn confirmed he was the baby’s father — and the things we’ve heard haven’t been very good. Throughout her pregnancy, we heard that he’d abandoned her, and she even said that she was going to be a single mom this time around. Report after report claimed that Chris didn’t want anything to do with her or their baby, and that was pretty heartbreaking. But then, something amazing happened! She revealed in an interview that he was there in the delivery room when she gave birth to the precious but still unnamed Baby Lo, and he also drove them home from the hospital. And yes, that’s pretty much the bare minimum a new father should do, but it was definitely a step in the right direction. In the past few weeks, various reports have claimed that Chris can’t seem to make up his mind on how active of a parent he wants to be. Shortly after the birth, he visited his new son frequently, but then he allegedly bailed again . But as a source now tells Hollywood Life, he’s doing the best he can. “Kailyn and Chris have been spending more time together since the baby’s birth, trying to make the whole difficult situation work,” the source says. “He is doing his best to be a good father and to treat Kailyn better. Chris loves their little baby and wants to make sure he has a healthy relationship with Kailyn.” That’s nice, right? Though they’re both “overwhelmed with the new baby” right now, “he is there and doing what he feels is the right thing.” “Kailyn is happy that he is present and helping with diapers and late night feedings, so all is well with them … for now at least.” Unfortunately, as soon as that source told that sweet little story, another popped up with a slightly different take on things. Because even though Chris is apparently trying, “it’s just not working out.” “At this point, having raised two babies already, Kailyn is an expert when it comes to caring for the baby,” this source alleges. “Frankly, Chris is just getting in her way and causing extra problems.” But someone getting in the way of her new mom groove may be the least of her problems soon … The supposed Kailyn insider says that Chris’ mother is urging him “to apply for full time custody of her grandchild.” “Chris has no desire to try and take his kid away from Kailyn,” which is good, “but his mom is concerned about visitation rights.” It’s not just that though — his mother is also said to be concerned about Kailyn’s “lifestyle,” as well as “the fact that she has three children from three fathers.” “Chris’ mom really wants Baby Lo to be raised by her family and standards.” Which, if true, is pretty rich, considering that her family raised Chris, a guy who basically abandoned a woman after he got her pregnant and could very well end up abandoning his son, too. Lauren Bushnell Has a New Boyfriend … But Who is He?

They may have won each other’s hearts on The Bachelor , but no relationship can escape from entropy — that is to say,  Lauren Bushnell and Ben Higgins broke up . That was a whole thing, but Lauren’s now in a new relationship, and while at first we’d heard that she’d reconnected with an ex, we now know that the man that she’s dating is someone new . … At first, rumor had it that Lauren had gotten together with her ex, Sean Evans. That’s the kind of thing that happens all of the time. Especially shortly after a breakup, when you might be feeling vulnerable and uncertain and want a familiar face. (So long as the breakup with said old flame was amicable, anyway) But that’s not the case, as Lauren Bushnell is dating a guy named Devin Antin . And while some reports say that these two have dated before, Devin is — at the very least — “new” to the public. Thanks to Twitter, we at least know what Devin looks like — a handsome guy, to be sure. This image was reportedly taken in 2015, before The Bachelor , which does seem to suggest that Lauren and Devin have dated before. We suspect that now that people know, Lauren might speak about it publicly and tell us a little more. Because the world could use some clarification. In the mean time, we still have more to go on, thanks to Us Weekly ‘s source. And it sounds like, after Lauren’s split with Ben Higgins back in May, it wasn’t long before she and Devin became an item. “They have been dating for a while now.” We also know that Lauren knows or has at least met his family. “She was at a Golden State game with his sisters.” Awww, that’s sweet! But not surprising since they seem to have a history together. We’re sure that she could use a break after her highly publicized breakup from Ben Higgins. Lauren and Ben had a real connection on The Bachelor , but their relationship ended up fizzling, step by step. One major factor in their breakup was filming Happily Ever After together, where they couldn’t honestly communicate with each other because of the presence of the cameras. Though the sex remained great , Lauren started to feel isolated when they moved to a city where she didn’t know anyone. Another factor, however, was when she learned that  Ben Higgins had told JoJo Fletcher and Lauren Bushnell that he loved them . Both of them. Separately. She learned, it’s said, when that episode aired, and felt embarrassed and a little confused. We wonder if Ben Higgins is wishing that he’d gone with JoJo Fletcher, you know? Actually, do you guys remember that brief period when some of us were hopeful that The Bachelor would have a polyamorous twist? It was when Ben confessed that to both of them. We wondered if he was just going to try to propose to both of them. We didn’t dare to hope, really. (And also, for a polyamorous relationship to work, everybody needs to be on board from the get-go) But it would have been cool. Maybe it’ll happen with a different thruple in a future season. But now Lauren and Ben are no more, so … all of that drama built up to what ended up being a very short relationship. Sometimes, that’s life. As for Devin Antin, there are still things that are uncertain or just entirely unknown. But he has a great name and he’s handsome, so that’s two points in his favor. Kailyn Lowry: Chris Lopez Won’t Be on Teen Mom 2 Because of "Other Hoes"

For the first several months of her pregnancy,  Kailyn Lowry wouldn’t reveal the identity of her baby daddy . Eventually, we learned that it was a fellow Delaware State University student named Chris Lopez who got Kailyn pregnant , but the man remains shrouded in mystery. As it turns out, that’s just how Lopez prefers it. In a new preview for the show’s upcoming season premiere, we get to see Kailyn open up about Lopez for the first time on camera. It turns out, she’s not loving his behavior as of late, and her friends aren’t fans either. When a friend of Kailyn’s describes Lopez as a “player,” Lowry reveals that he’s not appearing on Teen Mom 2 because he fears it might interfere with his other relationships.  “He doesn’t want to be on the show,” Lowry says Lopez in the clip. “He doesn’t want his name on the show.” When the friend asks if it’s because he’s camera shy, Kailyn clarifies: “He doesn’t want his other hoes to know about me!” And Kailyn wasn’t done complaining about Lopez, who apparently will play very little part in the life of his child with Kailyn. When Lowry’s first baby daddy, Jo Rivera, asks about the situation with Chris, Kailyn responds: “It’s such a not solid situation I don’t want to discuss any of it on TV.” Needless to say, we don’t think you’ll be hearing a whole lot about Mr. Lopez this season. Sources close to the situation say Lopez broke up with Lowry after a brief fling last year. She reportedly thought the relationship was serious and was stunned by his reaction to her pregnancy. Lopez has apparently agreed to assist with the finances, but wants no part in the child’s life. And now it seems his commitment to the single life is such that he doesn’t want MTV (and the sizable paychecks it’s no doubt offering) cramping his style. Obviously, Chris doesn’t exactly sound like a stand-up guy, but you almost have to admire that level of commitment to the player lifestyle. Kailyn Lowry & Chris Lopez: Ugly Breakup Details Revealed!

From the moment we learned that Kailyn Lowry is pregnant with her third child , the social media world of Teen Mom 2 fans was abuzz with speculation about the identity of Lowry’s baby daddy. After months of remaining tight-lipped on the subject, Kailyn eventually revealed that Chris Lopez was the father of her child . Shortly thereafter, details regarding Chris and Kailyn’s brief time together began to emerge, and it became clear why Lowry was so reluctant to identify the man who got her pregnant. It seems that Lowry and Lopez broke up after just a short time together – and the split was far from amicable. Lopez was reportedly the one to call it quits, and while Lowry has portrayed the relationship as a fling that resulted in an unexpected pregnancy, sources are now claiming that she planned to remain with Chris for the long haul. “Kail was very upset when they broke up,” an insider close to the situation tells Radar Online. “But she has never said anything bad about him. She wishes him the best and hopes he’s genuinely happy with his life.” She hopes he’s “genuinely happy” with his life? Sounds like these two are planning to never have any contact with one another again. Which might be a problem, what with the baby they’re about to have and all. There’s no word on what sort of custody arrangement has been worked out, but in a surprisingly candid blog post that’s since been deleted, Kailyn revealed she’ll be raising the child alone , with no help from Lopez outside of financial contributions. Needless to say, these two aren’t on the greatest terms, and that fact is likely to result in a deeply complicated co-parenting relationship. Not surprisingly, many fans have assumed that the pregnancy came as a total shock to Lopez, but the insider says that’s not the case: The source claims Chris “knew exactly what he was doing” when he helped Kailyn conceive. What he apparently didn’t know, however, was that she was planning to build a relationship with him: “Kail became a relationship of convenience for him,” the insider says. “He never actually loved her. It was a relationship, but he just decided he wanted something different and things didn’t work out so they went their separate ways.” Yeesh. Kailyn might be feeling a bit embarrassed that she clearly fell hard for Chris while he seems to have taken a more “no strings attached” approach to their fling. In fact, it looks like he’s already moved on from his time with Kailyn and is currently getting very close with a new female friend. The Ashley’s Reality Roundup has published photos of Lopez canoodling with an unidentified woman on Snapchat. There’s no mistaking that Lopez and his lady friend are, well, more than just friends, and apparently there’s more visual evidence where that came from. “There were a few more photos and some were way more graphic than these,” the source of the photos tells The Ashley. The site reached out to Kailyn for a reaction to these pics, and not surprisingly, the TM2 star didn’t have much to say. What is surprising is the fact that she seems to wish Lopez all the best: “I hope he is figuring his stuff out and making himself happy,” Lowry tells The Ashley. A pretty mature take on the situation from the soon-to-be mother of three. Here’s hoping Lowry can maintain that level head as she juggles the demands of raising three young children with three different fathers.
