The Voice Promo Pics: Airbrushing Christina Aguilera

Christina Aguilera is one attractive woman, but the airbrushing she gets in these two new promotional shots for The Voice makes her borderline unrecognizable. On her own and with her cohorts, the 31-year-old looks great with her wavy hair, custom Xtina bling, and a piano-themed, black-and-white slimming dress. And Photoshop. Lots and lots of Photoshop. We’ll never quite understand the need to doctor images of someone so pretty already (see Christina Aguilera photos ), but such is life for PR folks. The singer will reportedly perform her new song, “Your Body,” on The Voice when it comes back in September – its first season premiering in the fall. Are you excited for the NBC singing competition’s next go-around?

Effing Snooki. The Jersey Shore train wreck may have caused an auto accident that sent two police officers to the hospital in Florence, Italy, but she says fans shouldn’t blame her – obviously, because she’s always on the ball – just the car. “The brakes weren’t really working in our Fiat,” Snooki, a.k.a. Nicole Polizzi , says. “They were, like, old. I tried to use the brakes and they didn’t work.” “So to avoid the cops, I ran right into a wall so I didn’t hurt anybody.” Sounds totally logical to us. Following the crash that resulted in Snooki temporarily losing her license, the Jersey Shore gang stuck close to home. “The only time we [drove was] to the gym, so after that, we’d just walk around,” she tells Extra . Just when you thought you’d seen everything. Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola from Jersey Shore celebrated their final few days in Italy with a night out at 21 club last weekend. However, rather than end their trip with one last blowout, the group left after a few hours and headed home, arriving back at their pad happy as clams. With another pay raise secured for season five, RonSam and their cohorts have a lot to smile about. But still, when’s the last time you saw pics like this?! For the uninitiated — or for those of you who stopped watching long ago — the hospital was under attack from a crazed gunman who wanted to exact some revenge on McDreamy and his cohorts because they pulled the plug on his brain-dead wife.
