Charlie Sheen wants to save Lindsay Lohan. No for real, he wants to step in and help the spiraling train wreck, and says he’s got both the credentials and credibility to make a difference in her life. Sheen says he may be her best shot, too. The actor tells TMZ, “I have a kinship with somebody [Lindsay] who clearly needs a mentor, whether she wants one or not.” “She can continue to hang out with her dress shredding club buddies , or turn to a guy who’s been down the road as well as every other side trail on the journey.” “If she listens, she’ll win. If she doesn’t, that’s on her.” Charlie and Lindsay are also friends, it’s worth noting. The duo forged a connection on the set of Scary Movie 5 , after which Charlie cut her a $100,000 check to help with her mounting tax problems. Lindsay’s now returning the favor by appearing on Anger Management , although that may be Sheen helping her again more than the other way around. She’s broke. Like big time. Things have gotten so bad financially that the $100,000 from Charlie barely made a dent, and that’s just her tax problems. Also, Charlie still claims they’ve never hooked up , “I love her, I respect her, and I’ve never laid a finger on her that wasn’t on film. How ya like me now, America?” Actually, a heck of a lot more than we used to. What do you think? Can he help Lindsay?

D.B. Sweeney might have a (Twi)hard time making money at the box office going forward. The actor got into it over Twitter with a number of young movie fans this week after he inserted himself into the ongoing Robert Pattinson/Kristen Stewart saga . Wrote Sweeney: “Just saw Pattinson on #DailyShow trying to figure out what took k-stew so long to look around with this douche astride her. #holytwit.” As you might expect, Pattinson’s followers quickly came to the star’s defense. “Don’t talk sh–t about the greatness which is Rob when your credentials can’t even match his,” replied one, while another was even more direct in addressing Sweeney: “I hate you. Do not mess with Rob.” But Sweeney – who actually stars in K-11 , which was directed by Stewart’s mother, Jules – didn’t back down. He Tweeted twice more: “Hey #twilight genuises–try decaf! A little too worked up over a skinny vampire…. Nice language twi-hards. Or should i say tards? Love the inchoate indignation.” And we love your decision to pick on a fan base half your age, D.B., along with an actor whose heart was just broken.

Album via Twitter on Friday (June 4). The track, “Pushin’ It,” actually leaked to the Web on Thursday, but the Compton rapper released a mixed and mastered version of the song. The sexy number finds the rappers trading verses trumpeting their credentials with the ladies while Robin Thicke croons the chorus. “I’m a rude boy, so I’m gonna get it up/ Rihanna post-Chris, Matt Kemp, baby, this is us,” Game raps. “So talk to me, have you ever been to Cannes?/ Yeah, south of France/ Next stop Japan, let’s go.” “Pushing it, your lips/ ‘Cause my drug, it’s your lips” Thicke sings. The song follows his street single “Shake” and Game’s lead offering from The R.E.D. Album, “It Must Be Me.” The video for “Shake” premiered in an exclusive MTV News post and the clip for the Neptunes-produced “It Must Be Me” is slated to premier Friday on BET’s “106 & Park.” The former G-Unit cohort recruited a bevy of high-profile producers to man the boards for the project, and reunited with mentor Dr. Dre. “I feel great about this album,” Game told MTV News earlier this year. “It’s back full-force Aftermath and I’m conjoined with Star Trak.” (Pharrell Williams is one of the LP’s executive producers.) “I got this colorful movement over here where it’s beautiful music on this side [with Star Trak] — then when I need to go dark or super grown and sexy, I got Dre over here. The combination is crazy — mixed in with a Cool & Dre track and RZA track and all the sh– I been doing. The only person I’m upset I didn’t work with on this album is DJ Premier. I feel his sh– would have been perfect for this all-star producer cast that I have. One Premier track would have did me just fine. I would have murdered that sh–.
