Now single and living in New York with daughter Suri Cruise, she still has her whole life and vibrant career ahead of her – and looks not a day over 25! Seriously … how was Dawson’s Creek on that many years ago now? Also turning another year wiser today? It’s Brad Pitt’s 49th birthday !

Bobbi Kristina to Oprah: My Mother is Always With Me

One month after the death of her mother, Bobbi Kristina Brown sat down with Oprah Winfrey for a revealing chat on the latter’s network Sunday night. After greeting the host with a hug, the 19-year old told viewers she was “doing okay,” adding: “I’m getting through it. I’m doing as good as I possibly can… just trying to keep going.” Bobbi, of course, has been the subject of many rumors and headlines since her mom passed away on February 12, with drug problems allegedly surfacing again and family members supposedly pushing her to check in to rehab . But the teenager said she’s doing her best to hang in there, and that she receives help on a daily basis from her mom. “I can hear her voice in spirit talking to me, ‘Keep talking to me. I got you.’ She’s always with me,” Bobbi said. “I can always feel her. I can always feel her with me. She always asked me, ‘Do you need me?’ And I caught myself, out of nowhere, I didn’t even know I said it, I said, ‘I’ll always need you.'” Bobbi also recounted the final day she spent with Whitney, saying: “It was so early in the morning. I went to go get her and I said, ‘Come lay with me.’ She stayed with me all night and all day. She was just rubbing my head and holding me. I just slept in her arms.” What does the future hold for Brown? She isn’t sure exactly, but something in the entertainment realm perhaps. Some acting, some dancing , Bobbi speculated, concluding: “I have to carry on the legacy.”

Among the remaining four hopefuls, who stands the best chance of victory? Let’s take a look at who’s left standing, then put it to a vote … Hope Solo has shown improvement throughout the season, culminating in her best effort of the season last week. Still an underdog to make the finals. Rob Kardashian is very well-liked and better on the floor than most people give him credit for. Long-shot to win it all, even money to survive this week. Ricki Lake. After two straight weeks at the top, she took a step back last week. It would still be a surprise if she didn’t advance, but she’s the clear #2. J.R. Martinez was nothing short of perfect last week. Having already been a clear contender all season, he’s the obvious favorite as it stands right now. Well? Kelly Clarkson is about to hit the road. And the air. And perhaps even the water once or twice, as well. The original American Idol has announced a major tour to kick off 2012, as she’ll be accompanied by Matt Nathanson and get the act started on January 13. Where does the future lie for Internet ads? Canadian advertising agency John St thinks it has the answer: Catvertising. That’s right, all cat videos, all the time. Ahead of the curve in this fast-changing digital age, the firm just opened the world’s first cat video division, with production, filming and marketing all in-house. Ask yourself, what can cat videos do for your business? Catvertising This behind-the-scenes documentary is a spoof, of course, but the irony is that an agency pumping out online ads using cats as actors would almost certainly be highly profitable online, or at the very least a hilarious place to work.

Katie Couric Officially Out at CBS News; Eyeing New Show at ABC?

CBS News’ Katie Couric officially confirmed what we all knew was coming today: She is leaving CBS News . “I’m really proud of the talented team on the CBS Evening News and the award-winning work we’ve been able to do in the past five years in addition to the reporting I’ve done for 60 Minutes and CBS Sunday Morning,” she told People . What does the future hold for Couric exactly? “In making the decision to move on, I know that the Evening News will be in great hands, but I am excited about the future.” “I am looking at a format that will allow me to engage in more multi-dimensional storytelling,” she says, though when and where are “still being discussed.” There is still an offer on the table for Couric to stay at CBS with a syndicated talk show and a role on 60 Minutes , but they’re not the only interested party. ABC has made a big push for a Couric talk show plus even wider exposure across its news platforms, including a presence on its 2012 election coverage. CBS News is reportedly not willing to match that end of the offer. NBC, which had expressed interest, is no longer in the running. One person close to Couric described the ABC move as “a distinct possibility.” Sources say CBS News initially accepted the idea of having Couric keep a role in the division, but have grown weary of the drawn-out negotiation process. “They are ready to wish her well,” says a person close to the talks. Scott Pelley will replace Katie as CBS News anchor.
