Chris Brown Denies, Threatens Legal Action Over Latest Gay Slur Brouhaha

Chris Brown has used homophobic slurs before, but says that’s in the past, and a recent report claiming he used them during a basketball game is BS. A day after Star and Radar reported that Brown went off on another anti-gay rant , the oft-maligned R&B singer is sounding off, and he’s not happy. Brown’s rep calls Star ‘s tale utterly false, saying he wasn’t even ballin’ that day and the photo Star used was months old – and from a video shoot. A totally fictitious article ran in the current Star magazine accusing our client Chris Brown of doing something that he did not do,” says Brown’s rep . “He got ticked off when things didn’t go his way during the game, saying, ‘That’s gay!’ and ‘You’re a f—–t a–!’ to the other players,” Star claimed. Brown’s side of the story? A little different. “He spent the entire day with dozens of members of the production team filming the video for ‘Body to Body’ at 1870 Sunset Paza in West Hollywood.” ” Star accompanied the fabricated story with a photo of Chris playing basketball in New York,s taken on the day of his F.A.M.E. CD release in March.” “Chris Brown’s management is considering taking appropriate legal action. We stand behind our client and want to set the record straight. This did not happen.” We believe him, and are glad to hear it.

Justin Bieber ‘Never Say Never’ Ad To Air During ‘Glee’ Super Bowl 2011 Episode

Who says that young girls don’t care about Super Bowl Sunday? This year there’s a big reason for tweens, teens and non-football fans to get in on the action. According to The Hollywood Reporter, a new spot for Justin Bieber’s “Never Say Never” 3-D flick will run during the super special post-Super Bowl episode of “Glee.” The 30-second commercial is set to air during the February 6 episode of the hit Fox comedy. The film opens one week later, on Valentine’s Day weekend. THR further reports that the ad will be shown during “Glee” and not the Super Bowl proper since the film’s target demographic is more likely to tune in to the musical TV show than the big game. This is not the first time Bieber has teamed up with a major sporting event to support a release. During Game 3 of last year’s World Series, the teen pop star debuted a mini-music video for the unplugged version of his song “Never Say Never” to promote his acoustic album, My Worlds Acoustic. Bieber’s flick isn’t the only movie taking advantage of the Super Bowl’s massive viewership. Several blockbusters will air commercials on Fox sometime during the evening, whether it’s preshow, during the game or, in Bieber’s case, postshow. It reportedly costs about $3 million for 30 seconds of airtime on the big night. Variety reports that the movies “Transformers: Dark of the Moon,” “Super 8,” “Thor,” “Captain America: The First Avenger,” “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides,” “Cowboys and Aliens,” “Priest,” “Kung Fu Panda 2,” “Just Go With It,” “Battle: Los Angeles,” “Limitless,” “Rango” and “The Eagle” all will have commercials broadcast during Super Bowl Sunday.

NBA Finals Game 7 Live Blog: Rajon Rondo Leads Celtics To 11-Point Lead

-Four quick halftime thoughts: it was nice of Magic Johnson to finally admit he couldn’t make sense of a basketball game; it was fitting that everyone used the wrestling analogy for their analysis; we need more stories from Bill Walton in the future, even if the events he describes are kind of boring; and this Kobe legacy talk is boring, as expected. On the bright side, it was nice of Jon Barry to say the legacy won’t change if Kobe wins “4, 5, or 7 championships” instead of “4, 6 or 8 championships” like he did in the pregame. -It’s a good thing the jerseys on the front say “Lakers” and “Celtics.” If they instead said “Spurs” and “Nets,” there would be more complaining. Or, more accurately,
