So Sad: 10-Year-Old Boy Commits Suicide After Being Brutally Bullied Over His Colostomy Bag

Seven Bridges' mother said her son was targeted by bullies for months because of a condition that requires him to wear a colostomy bag. https://t.co/oPFKxpbzIa — WTHR.com (@WTHRcom) January 23, 2019 10-Year-Old Boy Kills Himself After Bullying A 10-year-old Kentucky boy tragically took his own life after his parents say he was constantly bullied for a medical condition. The parents of Seven Bridges are reeling after they say their fifth grader was bullied to the point of suicide. “I saw my son dead. That’s something in my head,” Tami Charles told WHAS11 who found him hanging in the closet after she came home from the grocery store. “For the few minutes that we left, he didn’t want us to see that,” his father, Donnie Bridges said. The parents say their only child, a miracle baby born in 2008, was taunted because of a medical defect that required him to undergo 26 surgeries and use a colostomy bag. Kids would torment little Seven because of the smell. Back in September WHAS 11 reported that Seven was bullied on a bus ride home from his elementary school. He said he was called the N-word by a student and was ordered by a “friend” to beat up the bully. When he refused, his friend began choking him. “I still can’t get him choking me out of my head,” said his mother. His parents were planning to transfer him to another school next year but now they won’t have the chance. They believe his school didn’t do enough to protect him. A GoFundMe has set up for little Seven’s funeral. We send our sincerest condolences to the family of Seven Bridges, this is the second black child in recent months to take their life. Little  9-year-old McKenzie Adams of Alabama killed herself after being bullied in December. Continue reading

Baltimore Teacher Arrested After Breaking The Jaw Of 7-Year-Old For Being “Disruptive”

Baltimore Teacher Arrested For Breaking 7-Year-Old’s Jaw Travon Grayson, 7-year-old elementary student , has been hospitalized after an educator allegedly assaulted the boy while he was walking to the office for disciplinary reasons at the end of the school day earlier this week. According to WBLATV , Timothy Randall Korr has been charged with felony first- and second-degree child abuse, felony first- and misdemeanor second-degree assault, misdemeanor reckless endangerment and misdemeanor neglect of a minor. Travon’s mother spoke about the incident and said this… “My son told me that (Korr) threw my son into a wall,” Jackson said. “My son had dreams about it all last night. He’s still shaking in his sleep, saying that he keeps having visions of (Korr) throwing him into a wall.” Jackson said the tutor was escorting Travon to the main office for disciplinary reasons at the end of the school day on Monday, but they never made it to the office. Jackson said that when she got to the school, Travon was in an ambulance and crying. She said the teacher was also there with Travon’s blood on his clothes. Baltimore police officers say detectives responded to the elementary school where they viewed video footage which captured the incident. Detectives discovered that a crime had been committed at the school then issued a warrant for the teacher. How would you react if you discovered a teacher or adult assaulted your child ? 9 Funniest Vine Videos to Commemorate the Fall of a 6-Second Empire

As you may have heard, the final days of Vine are upon us.  Last week, Twitter announced that it will be discontinuing the Vine mobile app, and fans of six-second comedy the world over wept. Given the attention span of the average Vine user, they probably got over it quickly, but maybe some have been caught in an eternal loop of despair? Frankly, we have no idea what we're talking about, but here are some of the funniest clips tweeted with the #RIPVine hashtag over the past week: 1. “What’s My Name, Siri?” Vine iPhone use has officially peaked. You might as well just throw your new 7 in the trash. Wireless earbuds are dumb, anyway. 2. Chillary Clinton Vine “Greetings, youths. You know what’s totes on fleek this Election Day? Voting for a candidate who isn’t besties with Vladimir Putin! That broski has zero chill!” 3. Sneak Cattack Vine Cats are pure evil. Fortunately, they’re just as cruel to each other as they are to humans, so it balances out. 4. Flying Truck Fail Vine Okay, this one is less funny and more, “Holy sh-t, WTF just happened?!” We, uh … we assume everyone survived. 5. WTF, Richard?! A classic from the Vine vaults. Frisbee is not Richard’s strong suit. 6. #SuicideFairy Vine Some Christmas presents aren’t long for this world. There’s a lesson in here but about playing too close to open fires. Or something… View Slideshow

Kailyn Lowry: 13 Heartbreaking Details from Her New Memoir

Every single one of the ladies on Teen Mom and Teen Mom 2 have gone through hard times — that's kind of the whole point of the show — but Kailyn Lowry has had more than her fair share of struggles. Kailyn's been open about the things she's been through on the show, but in her new memoir, Heart & Hustle, she gets real personal about it all. Check out the most heartbreaking tidbits below. 1. She came from a broken home. “It sure as hell seemed like my own parents couldn’t muster up any love to send my way. My own parents!” 2. Her parents never taught her how to love. “If I couldn’t look to them for an example of what it means to be loved, how could I imagine what it was like? If my parents couldn’t love me, how could I be sure anyone would?” 3. She feels like her mom didn’t love her enough. “Not enough to numb the embarrassment when she showed up at my elementary school reeking of Jack Daniels. Not enough to dull my hurt and anger when she disappeared and left me on my own for long, long stretches of time. By the time I was a teenager, no one had to tell me to follow my heart.” 4. Her mother was an alcoholic. “The best of my mom’s love went into the bottles she drowned herself in day in and day out. The love that should have been mine went into bottles and empty cans that were tossed in the trash and carried away. I was left with whatever spilled, and it wasn’t enough.” 5. She had a rough childhood. “I acted up in school, smoked too much weed, had sex too young—the list goes on.” 6. She still tried to be a good daughter. “No one can ever say I didn’t try to have a relationship with my mother. I spent the most vulnerable years of my childhood working to hide her drinking from teachers, classmates and neighbors while trying to earn her love.” View Slideshow
