The track is apart of Mario’s upcoming studio album Dancing Shadows , which will be his first full-length project since 2009’s D.N.A. On “Drowning,” Mario croons between tenor and falsetto as he laments his relationship with a lover — a relationship he can’t seem to get enough of, but unfortunately has him drowning. “This experience was an intense one for me,” Mario told Billboard . “And sonically, the bittersweet chord progressions match the emotion of the story I’m telling.” Peep the visuals for the track below and be sure to watch out for Dancing Shadows when it’s released in the fall!

According to a report by Exclaim everything that could have gone wrong on L-Boogie’s most recent stop of her The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill 20th Anniversary Tour happened. For starters the New Jersey native showed up over an hour late to the Budweiser Stage, but things got progressively worse when she finally started her set. Fans were further angered when Ms. Hill spent much of her time criticizing her inept band and audio crew. But when it came to her actual performance ticket buyers claimed that she did not perform her classic debut in its entirety and rushed through the tracks she did do. To close the show, L did a rendition of Drake’s “Nice For What” which samples “Ex-Factor” which felt flat with the crowd. Many in attendance would also to complain that the songs were barely recognizable compared to her 1998 album. The confusion further fueled the speculation that she does not own the original compositions forcing her to perform them differently. Regardless of her legal restrictions her fans who where at the show let her have it on social media. So disappointed in the Lauryn Hill concert tonight. Time has not been kind to Nelly. And, if we’re to believe recent accusations against him, Nelly has not been kind to others in return. Early yesterday morning, he was arrested for allegedly raping a woman on his tour bus . He’s currently on tour with Florida Georgia Line, and the arrest happened a few hours after a show in Washington on Friday night. According to a statement from local police, a woman called 911 at nearly 4:00 AM and reported that Nelly had sexually assaulted her. After officers arrived on the scene and did some investigating, there was apparently enough evidence to make an arrest, and Nelly was taken into custody. There wasn’t enough evidence to hold him though, and a few hours later he was released. His lawyer then made a statement saying that “Nelly is the victim of a completely fabricated allegation.” “Our initial investigation,” he explained, “clearly establishes the allegation is devoid of credibility and is motivated by greed and vindictiveness.” “I am confident, once the scurrilous accusation is thoroughly investigated, there will be no charges.” The lawyer added that “Nelly is prepared to pursue all legal avenues to redress any damage caused by this clearly false allegation.” So far it’s obviously a pretty serious case of he-said, she-said, right? But now Nelly is speaking on his own behalf. Shortly after the news broke of his arrest, he hopped on Twitter to defend himself. “Let me say that I am beyond shocked that I have been targeted with this false allegation,” he began. “I am completely innocent.” “I am confident that once the facts are looked at, it will be very clear that I am the victim of a false allegation.” “I do want to apologize to my loved ones for the embarrassment and for putting myself in a situation where I could be victimized by this false and defaming allegation,” he wrote. Nelly also thought it was important “to thank my fans for their unwavering support.” “They know me,” he said. “I assure you I will be vindicated. And I assure you, I will pursue every legal option to address this defaming claim.” “Thank you.” And just in case you didn’t follow that statement his lawyer wrote for him, he added “In other words y’all know damm well I ain’t do no dumm S^*t like this..!! Love ..!!!!” About an hour after making those tweets, he logged back on to clear up an extra bit of confusion. “To be absolutely clear,” he wrote, “I have not been charged with a crime therefore no bail was required. I was released, pending further investigation.” At this point, it’s hard to say who’s telling the truth. Nelly and his team could be right, this woman could have made up this whole story. But then again, Nelly could be doing his best to cover up his crimes — let’s be real, it’s not exactly unprecedented for a celebrity to use his fame as a way to prey on women like this. Cardinals Pitcher Carlos Martinez Denies Yikes… This lawsuit sounds like a doozy ! A woman is claiming that major league baller Carlos Martinez BURNED her even after she asked him if he was STD-free . According to TMZ reports : St. Louis Cardinals pitcher Carlos Martinez is ferociously disputing a lawsuit — in which the 24-year-old is accused of giving a woman non-life threatening STDs … after swearing he was clean. The woman behind the suit, filed in district court in Miami, claims she began a romantic relationship with Martinez in 2012 — and the two had an on-and-off relationship for years. According to the suit, the two reconnected last year — and began having sex again on Dec. 16th. Two days later, the woman claims she began to feel ill and later tested positive for multiple STDs. The woman claims she had grilled Martinez about his sexual health before they hooked up and he “swore to God that he was not infected with any sexually transmitted disease.” Soon after the woman informed Martinez about her condition, he allegedly bolted for the Dominican Republic and never called her back. Now, she’s suing him for battery, negligent transmission of sexually transmitted diseases, fraud and more … and she’s demanding more than $1.5 million in damages. It’s safe to say that Adrienne Bailon will not be invited to the Kardashian household for Christmas this year. The former Cheetah Girls member recently went off to Latina Magazine; first saying that her previous affiliation with the Kardashians hurt her career and then slamming Rob Kardashian for cheating on her. Bailon said Rob “strategically” planned how he would sleep with other women and that she never considered forgiving him. Appearing on Watch What Happens Live! last night, Joan was asked by host Andy Cohen for her opinion about the Real Housewives of New York and their style choices. The Bachelorette star Andi Dorfman was called a slut on Fox News this week, following runner-up Nick Viall’s TMI reveal on the After the Final Rose special. Still not over her several months after the finale was taped, Nick asked Andi why she “made love” with him if she wasn’t as in love as Nick was – or at all. This became the talk of the finale – more than Andi and winner Josh Murray – and naturally, The Five co-host Bob Beckel slammed the Atlanta attorney for it. “She’s a slut!” Beckel blurted out on the Fox News program. “I’m not kidding you.
