Fyre Fallout: Ja Rule & Billy McFarland Sued For $100 Million Over Festival Disaster

WELP! Ja Rule And Billy McFarland Sued For $100 Million Over Fyre Festival After the disaster that was Fyre Festival, Ja Rule and his co-organizer are unsurprisingly facing a massive lawsuit. Ja and Billy McFarland are facing a $100 million class-action lawsuit via celebrity attorney Mark Geragos. According to Variety, Geragos was acting on behalf of client Daniel Jung in California on Sunday, accusing the organizers of fraud and creating a “dangerous and panicked situation.” “The festival’s lack of adequate food, water, shelter and medical care created a dangerous and panicked situation among attendees — suddenly finding themselves stranded on a remote island without basic provisions — that was closer to The Hunger Games or Lord of the Flies than Coachella,” states the suit. Jung told his attorney that he spent $2,000 on his music festival ticket and airfare only to suffer and “survive on bare rations, little more than bread and a slice of cheese, and was forced to try to escape the elements in the only shelter provided by Defendants: small clusters of ‘FEMA tents,’ exposed on a sand bar, that were soaked and battered by wind and rain” reports Variety. In addition to the $100 million suit, Ja and McFarland have reportedly been banned by the Bahamas Ministry Of Tourism from having any more festivals in the island nation. Mila Kunis Saves Life of Employee, Remains Really Hot

Mila Kunis has come up with a new, effective way to distract the gossip world from buzzing over a rumored romance : save the life of a 50-year old employee inside your home. Authorities tell TMZ that’s exactly what happened on Saturday, as an unidentified man who works for Kunis collapsed at her Los Anegles residence, seizing, choking and coughing up blood. The actress reportedly rushed into action, telling a friend to dial 911 and turning over the man’s head )so that he wouldn’t choke), while another friend shoved a wallet into his mouth to prevent tongue swallowing. Talk about quick thinking! Paramedics eventually arrived on the scene and transported the man to the hospital, where he’s already made a full recovery. Late last month, Grey’s Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey played hero in a similar way, coming to the aid of a motorist following a horrific car accident. [Photo: WENN.com]

The boxer, who has been barred from seeing his children and is awaiting a hearing on multiple felony charges, has been accused of misdemeanor battery against a security guard. As first reported by TMZ, an employee inside Mayweather’s gated Las Vegas community approached the athlete late yesterday afternoon and inquired about a parking situation. Mayweather allegedly responded to the question by poking the man in the face with his finger. Police were called to the scene, but Mayweather did not answer their knocks on his front door. The case has now been turned over to the DA, who will decide whether or not to pursue it further.
