Jesus Take The Wheel: Playboi Carti Convicted Of Trashing Luxury Tour Bus And Assaulting The Driver

Source: Josh Brasted / Getty Playboi Carti Convicted For February Assault And Bus Damage Playboi Carti  was accused of attacking his tour bus driver and trashing the bus at a Scottish motorway service station in February of 2018. According to the  BBC , Carti was just found guilty of both assault and causing damage to the luxury coach bus on January 17. The rapper was fined £800 – £500 for assault and £300 for allegedly damaging one of the driver’s windows. The site further reports that Carti had previously denied ever assaulting the driver, but did admit to causing damage to the bus. Apparently the entire conflict started after the tour bus stopped working while Playboi Carti and the rest of his 14-member entourage were traveling from Glasgow to London. The driver eventually had to stop the bus so he could get the heating to work and a replacement bus was later sent by. Alistair MacLeish, who was working as one of the bus drivers at the time, said that he witnessed Carti assaulting the driver of the rapper’s original bus. “I saw things being thrown around the tour bus and then a man ran across and punched the driver on the face, cutting him and knocking his glasses off,” he explained. “It was the accused Carter who had been standing with a group but as two guys tried to restrain him he wriggled past them ran across and punched the driver who stumbled back. The driver did not do anything to him and did not retaliate.” Carti’s tour managers still maintain that Carti was simply acting in self-defense during the altercation. Continue reading →

Lil Wayne ‘s headlining closing set was abruptly ended after chatter of gunshots or a gunman spread around the packed festival grounds in Atlanta. Local outlet WXIA reports: According to reports, Lil Wayne was about 5 songs into his set when pandemonium broke out. The performance served as a kind of comeback for Lil Wayne – his first since the release of “Tha Carter Five” in September. The rapper tweeted his well-wishes to concertgoers. But one man said everything was going fine until Lil Wayne hit the stage. “You have five different nationally-ranked artists perform – no problems,” he said. “Soon as this artist, the top-biller, Lil Wayne got on the stage, three or 4 minutes it start busting.” The mention of gunshots sent many attendees scrambling and some were injured in the process. Hip-Hop Wired was on the grounds of the Georgia Freight Depot but vacated before the ensuing stampede took place. According to research we’ve done with our contacts on the ground, there were no gunshots heard but the false alarm was enough to set folks into a panic. According to TMZ, rapper (?) Post Malone will be featured on at track after getting a last minute call from Weezy F. himself. It’s said that Wayne called Post earlier this week and the dirty-lookin’ rap singer hauled his dusty azz to the studio to knock out his part. Posty JUST finished his part last night and his vocals are currently being mixed for tonight’s release. The fact the Post is being added so late into the process suggests that although Wayne is releasing music that has been sitting for years, he wants to add some new life to them. Maybe that’s a good thing, maybe that’s a bad thing. Guess we’ll find out in a few hours. Are you looking forward to Wayne’s album tonight?

He also talked about his love for Young Thug: Thug is amazing. He’s such an individual and he just pushes boundaries and that’s why I always knew that we were destined to do something together. I feel like we kind of saw each other from afar through the Internet and I knew that we we had a lot in common. I feel like we have a lot of common in the studio too. He’s really inspiring me just flow wise for this next album and cadence wise, just the way he raps and the way he does it. I just I love being around and being in the studio. Although the slain artist’s girlfriend is expecting a child , no children were named in the document. From TMZ : According to the will, filed with the court, XXX left all of his property in trust, with his mom as trustee. She filed docs saying the beneficiaries in the trust are her and XXX’s 2 brothers. The will states XXX has no children. It’s interesting … his mother claims a prior girlfriend of XXX’s is currently pregnant. It appears the will was drafted before she became pregnant. It was signed in November 2017. The outlet points out that XXX’s net worth was not reported but he apparently did well enough in his career to purchase homes in Florida for several family members. — Photo: Instagram

On the track “March 14,” Drake admits he is the father of Sophie Brussaux’s son Adonis. “She not my lover like Billie Jean, but the kid is mine,” he spits. He continues: “Single father, I hate when I hear it / I used to challenge my parents on every album / Now I’m embarrassed to tell them I ended up as a co-parent / Always promised the family unit / I wanted it to be different because I’ve been through it.” Drake also addresses his son on the track “Emotionless” when he raps, “I wasn’t hiding my kid from the world/I was hiding the world from my kid.” There are still some questions about his relationship with his son but for now we do have Drake’s confirmation that he is the father.
