Mob Wives Chicago star Pia Rizza is responding to reports that naked photos of her are being shopped around … but putting them out there herself! Talk about a preemptive strike. Pia tells TMZ, which published the pics with her consent, that she took them sometime last year, while still filming Mob Wives and sent them to her boyfriend. Her goal? To get some feedback on whether she had the appropriate stuff for a potential Playboy spread (probably to get it in later that night too). The photos somehow got in the wrong hands, and Rizza says someone is trying to sell them without her permission. So now she’s taking command. She doesn’t want anyone making money off of her image if it’s not her, first off … and yeah, she’s still hoping Playboy will notice, so here you go: Gotta admire her honesty if nothing else.
A case of laryngitis forced Rihanna to cancel her concert in Boston Sunday. The 25-year-old pop princess’ promoter, Live Nation, said in a statement: “Unfortunately, following her sold-out concert Friday, Rihanna has contracted laryngitis and per doctor’s instruction is unable to perform this evening.” Rihanna also took to Twitter to apologize to her fans personally: “BOSTON this is the hardest thing for me to deal with! I feel like we’ve been waiting on this day forever, and I’m hurt that I let you down,” she wrote. “I hate disappointing people that never ever let me down!! I’m so embarrassed about this! Thank you for your prayers and well wishes!” she added. Rihanna’s tour kicked off March 8 in Buffalo, N.Y., and she is expected to return to the stage in Baltimore tonight. The Boston concert will be rescheduled.
Ummm… eat your heart out, Taylor Swift ? Harry Styles has gotten himself some fresh ink, and it’s his most impressive tattoo yet. Size wise, at least. Artist Liam Sparkes has posted the following photo to Flickr and a rep for the group confirms that, despite the faceless image, this really is a shot of Styles and his new body etching: Styles has over 30 tattoos covering his cute body, but this one clearly stands out. Do you like the butterfly? I love it! WTH is that?!? View Poll »
Complaints flooded in from celebs, bloggers, and the every day user. And according to CNN , Instagram was real quick to shut down the ‘confusing language’: (CNN) — Faced with a loud and angry backlash from some of its most active users, photo-sharing app Instagram backtracked Tuesday on new language that appeared to give the company ownership of their images. “The language we proposed … raised question about whether your photos can be part of an advertisement,” Instagram co-founder Kevin Systrom wrote in a blog post. “We do not have plans for anything like this and because of that we’re going to remove the language that raised the question.” An update Monday to Instagram’s terms of service had stated that data collected through the app can be shared with Facebook. That’s not a surprising move, considering Facebook paid an estimated $1 billion for the photo-sharing service earlier this year. But the language that upset some of the app’s more than 100 million users said that “a business or other entity may pay” Instagram for the use of user images and may do so “without any compensation to you.” Even CNN’s own Anderson Cooper was expressing some concern on the site. “#Instagram will now be able to use anyone’s photos in ads? Without consent?” he wrote on Twitter. “Come on! Is there another photo app people recommend?” Cooper wasn’t the only one considering his options. Bloggers also were spotlighting tools like Hipstamatic and Camera Awesome, as well as Twitter’s own new photo service that includes Instagram-like filters. A year-and-a-half-old blog post from photo-sharing site Flickr was also making the rounds. In it, Yahoo, which owns Flickr, uses language, perhaps aimed at Facebook, that says “(w)e feel very strongly that sharing online shouldn’t mean giving up rights to your photos.” Systrom said Instagram agrees. “Instagram users own their content and Instagram does not claim any ownership rights over your photos,” he wrote. “Nothing about this has changed. We respect that there are creative artists and hobbyists alike that pour their heart into creating beautiful photos, and we respect that your photos are your photos. Period.” It is, of course, too early to know how many people were fleeing Instagram on Tuesday. But anecdotal evidence suggested a movement was afoot. Instaport, a tool that lets users export and and download their Instagram images, was reporting overtaxed servers Tuesday morning. “Our servers are very busy right now, so it may show you some errors,” the company wrote to a user on its Twitter feed. “Please try again later or tomorrow.” So basically, they’ll still use your info and photos to target ads specifically towards you and your followers…and for now, they’re not going to sell your images to anyone, for free. Question is, do you care? Images via Instagram
C’mon son… New York Man Forced To Pay $28,000 Bar Tab At Strip Club Via NYDailyNews A Manhattan man didn’t keep his eye on the correct bottom line while boozing at Larry Flynt’s Hustler Club, and found himself on the hook for a $28,000 bar tab. William Ilg’s lawsuit — claiming that he was fraudulently billed at the West Side jiggle joint in 2011 — is a bust, too. Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Manuel Mendez tossed out the suit, in which Ilg alleged he was served too many drinks, leaving him “no longer capable of conducting financial transactions.” When Ilg discovered $28,109.60 in credit card charges for a night of pleasure he couldn’t even remember, he demanded a full refund. “There is no duty upon (Hustler Club) to protect plaintiff from the results of his (voluntary) intoxication,” Mendez wrote in a recent decision. The judge also dismissed another legal action Ilg filed this year claiming the club lacked the proper liquor license. In that motion, Ilg added the allegation he was plied with yayo as well as booze on the night he was soaked, according to court papers. Hustler Club lawyer Beth Gereg declined to comment and Ilg’s lawyer did not return a call. How you gonna sue somebody because YOU got faded and tricked off all ya bread on these hoes?? For all that you should have at LEAST gotten some pus…nevermind. Image via Flickr

The sad, ratchet, disgraceful saga that is Chad Johnson’s life just took another turn for the worse. Chad Johnson Still Had Mistresses After Marrying Evelyn Lozada Via RadarOnline Just when it seemed that Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson’s reputation couldn’t get any more soiled, RadarOnline.com has obtained exclusive details on a string of alleged mistresses whom he cheated on new wife Evelyn Lozada with right under her nose. The disgraced former NFL star has been carrying out a number of illicit affairs with several women for the past year, a source exclusively told Radar, including an aspiring model and stripper from Atlanta named Amber Priddy who he was allegedly paying the rent for until his own financial situation took a downward spiral. “Chad has been paying Amber $2000 a month for her apartment and flying her in and out of Miami so they could meet up,” said our insider, but now the former Black Men Magazine Model Of The Year has been evicted from her apartment on Atlanta’s famous Peachtree Street, according to court documents, and she posted a plea on Twitter this week asking for help moving. The raunchy revelations come after Chad’s bombshell week that started with his arrest for domestic violence on August 11 following an explosive fight with the Basketball Wives star, who filed for divorce three days later, which led to him being cut from the Miami Dolphins and fired by sponsor Zico coconut water. RadarOnline.com exclusively reported that a Boston woman named Beverly Shiner claims that she had a heated affair with the former New England Patriots player from January to May this year while Evelyn was busy planning their 4th of July dream wedding, and now it is clear that she was far from the only person he cheated on the reality star with. “He would tell Evelyn that he was going out to run errands in the day time and just hook up with one of his women instead,” revealed our insider. “It was easier for him to hide when they lived in separate cities but after Chad was traded to Miami in June his philandering literally got too close to home and he got caught.” He might have been worried about getting caught, but his scallywag hoes weren’t… Determined not to give the 34-year-old six time Pro Bowler up even after he got married, Amber tweeted a very telling message less than a week after he said “I do,” to Evelyn Don’t you love it when hoes call other women “hoes”? SMH Sounds like all Chad’s old jizz-buckets will be coming out of the woodwork to tell their stories soon, peep more pics of this one below. Images via Flickr/Twitter
JT is lucky he’s chopped down so many bad broads because we’d swear… Justin Timberlake Attends Wal-Mart Shareholders’ Meeting In Hula Skirt Justin Timberlake jetted to Fayetteville, Arkansas this week for an extra-special gig at the town’s Bud Walton Arena — hosting the Walmart Corporation’s Annual Shareholders’ meeting. Early Friday morning, the crooner, 31, donned a grass skirt and tied a lei around his head in an effort to get a rise out of the crowd. “It’s 7:20 a.m. That’s how Walmart does it? I need to work on my schedule,” Timberlake joked, leading the audience in the company’s “Walmart Cheer.” The Social Network star’s Fayetteville appearance comes on the heels of a sweet, PDA-packed May 26 engagement celebration with fiancee Jessica Biel–and 100-plus friends and family. “He and Jessica danced very closely,” when the DJ played his hit, “SexyBack,” a partygoer tells Us Weekly. “It looked like neither wanted the night to end.” Justin Timberlake, the consummate professional… Image via Flickr Source
Thousands of sites blacked out to protest SOPA legislation. By Gil Kaufman Google’s homepage to protest web piracy bills Photo: Google A big black bar over the typically animated Google home page logo. No quick searches on the English-language Wikipedia. Those two internet giants are among the nearly 7,000 sites that voluntarily went dark or posted calls to action on Wednesday (January 18) in a protest against the U.S. House of Representatives’ Stop Online Piracy Act and the Senate’s similar Protect IP Act. The Act is designed to prevent online piracy and copyright infringement by giving the government and large corporations the ability to shut down sites accused of copyright infringement without a trial or hearing. The point of the legislation, according to the Washington Post is to stop foreign web sites that sell pirated and counterfeit goods by imposing restrictions that would force U.S. companies to stop selling online ads to suspected pirates, processing payments for illegal online sales and refusing to link to sites suspected of piracy in search-engine results. “There’s no fundamental First Amendment right to engage in thievery. Nor to advertise thievery,” said Motion Picture Association of America spokesperson Howard Gantman. A few days before the blackout action, Republican Texas Congressman Lamar Smith told Reuters that he did not understand why the protesters were so adamant about protecting offshore operators. “It is amazing to me that the opponents apparently don’t want to protect American consumers and businesses,” Smith said. “Are they somehow benefiting by directing customers to these foreign websites? Do they profit from selling advertising to these foreign websites? And if they do, they need to be stopped. And I don’t mind taking that on.” Among the sites that are participating in Wednesday’s protest: Reddit, Mozilla, WordPress.org, MoveOn.org, TwitPic, BoingBoing, Flickr, the Cheezburger network and Epic Games. Though many major Hollywood movie studios, record labels and networks such as Viacom (MTV News’ parent company), NBC-Universal and Fox News have given support to the legislation, web experts have warned that it could severely cripple the ability of the internet to function by adding huge new costs and rules that would seriously restrict the freewheeling personality of the ‘net and stall innovation. As an example, they say that if an crowd-sourced site like Wikipedia posts an item that links to a site that provides access to copywritten material it could result in sanctions or a takedown of Wikipedia. In essence, it would require tech companies to take a fine-tooth comb to sites bursting with user-generated content. They’ve also objected to a provision that would remove the rogue sites from the internet’s virtual phone book, so that if a U.S. user put in that web address it would seem as if the site didn’t exist. “Imagine a world without free knowledge,” read the Wikipedia home page on Wednesday morning. “For over a decade, we have spent millions of hours building the largest encyclopedia in human history. Right now, the U.S. Congress is considering legislation that could fatally damage the free and open Internet. For 24 hours, to raise awareness, we are blacking out Wikipedia.” Members of Congress have been taken aback by the visceral reaction from technology companies and online users, who may have already made headway in stalling the legislation. Just weeks after both bills seemed close to passage, Senate Democrat leaders have said they will not vote on a version of the bill opposed by many of the tech companies and are seeking a slow down of passage and possible revision of their bill. The White House has also signaled that it is concerned about the phone book provision in the bills, which its sponsor said they plan to remove. Several major opponents have submitted a counter proposal that would allow them to police themselves with oversight by an international nonprofit that hunts down online rogues. Editor’s note: Viacom, the home of MTV Networks, continues to be in support of SOPA.
