Dwight Howard: Fifth Baby on the Way With Fifth Baby Mama?

NBA star Dwight Howard is reportedly expecting his fifth baby – with his fifth baby mama – if accusations flying on Twitter this week are to be believed. Howard’s current girlfriend Christine Vest are about to have a baby, according to reports, which would take the Lakers center’s total to five children. By five different women … again, according to reports not confirmed by the baller or any other 100 percent reliable source we can find at the moment. Christine Vest, his girlfriend, was spotted at a recent Lakers game looking pregnant. Like “late second trimester pregnant,” an AOL report noted. Howard and Vest are said to be very happy about the pregnancy. In any case, Howard only has one baby mama of note, and that is Royce Reed , who he’s famously battled for years over custody of son Braylon. If he has three other baby mamas out there, he keeps them pretty well under wraps. It wouldn’t be unheard of, but still seems somewhat unlikely. Consider us cautiously optimistic that at least part of this story is fake. At least we would really hope that it is, for so many different, obvious reasons. If it’s true … DH shoud spend some of his $19.54 million salary on condoms. The price and embarrassment at CVS are a lot cheaper than the alternative.

Justin Bieber Thanks "Crazy" Fans: 38 Million Strong!

While attention over the past few days has been focused on one Justin Bieber fan in particular – Selena Gomez , who totally made out with the singer in Norway over the weekend – the singer stopped today to show appreciation for his other followers as well. All 38 million of them. Yes, JB has reached that very impressive figure and, ignoring reports that many Twitter followers are fake , reached out to them earlier via the social network. “#38MillionBeliebers #38MillionBeliebersStrong #Family thru thick and thin #PROUD and not going anywhere. Love u all & Thank u for Believing,” Justin wrote, adding: “Yeah my fans are passionate and maybe a little crazy. But they are my kinda crazy. #beliebers go hard. Love u.” The wildly popular superstar, who said he’s “blessed” to see the world and to do what he does, then concluded with a mini tease. He’s on tour and he’s writing stuff down, so… “thinking about putting out my music journals from the road.” Hmmm. We wonder if anyone out there would be curious to see those.

Skylar Laine Was James Durbin’s ‘Pick’ To Win ‘American Idol’

Season 10 contestant was ‘disappointed’ the country cutie got the boot. By James Montgomery James Durbin Photo: MTV News One year ago, James Durbin was sailing along on “American Idol,” riding a string of powerhouse performances to a (presumed) spot in the finals — until he was sent packing in a shocking elimination . And yes, he remembers it well. In fact, it’s why he’ll be tuning into the show this week. “Oh, I’ll definitely watch this week, because this was the week [last year] when I was like, ‘Yeah, I’m so pumped, I kicked ass, it couldn’t have gone better!’ And then I go into work the next day, and no one’s making eye contact with me,” he laughed. “So that was like, ‘Oh, son of a bitch.’ I knew the moment I got to work that day [that I was going to be eliminated]. But it is what it is. I was happy to make it that far. … It’s a whirlwind that they put you through, especially when you’re as unstable as I was.” And while he’s more than moved on — his debut album, Memories of a Beautiful Disaster, was released in November, and he’s currently touring with hard-rock brethren Buckcherry — he still watches “Idol” on occasion. He can’t help but think that history repeated itself this past week when another “Idol” fan favorite, Skylar Laine , was voted off the show. “I’m disappointed. She was my pick to win,” he said. “She actually has stage presence. She puts on a show. That’s what I try to do as much as possible, that’s what I evoke, and that’s what inspires me. And that was cool to see for her genre. She loves Miranda [Lambert], and she loves Reba [McEntire] and she loves Jason Aldean, and that’s perfect for her, that’s her audience that she’s aiming at, and that’s the kind of music I could see her making.” Durbin also had kind words for “Idol” castoff Colton Dixon — which is interesting, considering he made headlines earlier this season for criticizing the tight-trousered rocker for a perceived lack of authenticity — and for biting his performance from the previous season. But all that is water under the bridge these days, because Durbin has buried the hatchet (or, more appropriately, the broadsword, which he inexplicably clutched for the entirety of his interview with MTV News) and is only focused on one thing: spreading the gospel of rock. “The only reason I said that was because it seemed like he had shied away from what he was,” Durbin explained. “I got to talk to him when I was there [last month], and he’s a great kid, he’s a great singer, and I’m excited to hear what he puts out. It’s exciting for any sort of genre of music just to see something new, and he definitely has his base. He knows where he’s at, so I just like to see artists like himself who know who they are be who they are. ” ‘Idol’ is an interesting thing to be on, because people are pulling you in every which direction, and you just have to be comfortable in your own skin, knowing who you are and knowing what makes you tick and knowing what you want to convey and how you want to be perceived,” he continued. “I mean, it basically boils down to you. If you want be looked at as a Rock God, then you have to act like a Rock God. … You gotta be it, live it, breathe it, eat it, sleep it, poop it.” Get your “Idol” fix on MTV News’ “American Idol” page , where you’ll find all the latest news, interviews and opinions. Remedy Was Too Small To Develop Alan Wake For PC And Xbox 360

By now, PC owners have hopefully come to grips with the fact that Remedy Game’s thriller Alan Wake will not be released on their console of choice when it hits store shelves May 18. Back in February, Microsoft confirmed that the PC version of the game had been canceled, because Microsoft had wanted to match “this specific game to the right platform.” Turns out that this was more of a half-truth, as Remedy recently told Digital Spy a different tale regarding the ill-fated PC version of Alan Wake . “We’re a small studio, about 50 people. Concentrating on one platform is just a lot easier for us where we’re smaller than other studios, and it’s just been focused on one platform and getting that done. We have no plans for the PC right now.” Remedy had always said that Microsoft ultimately had the final say about Alan Wake on the PC, but the “we just didn’t have the manpower to pull off a PC version too” reality of the situation clearly played a much larger role in the 360 exclusivity decision than previously thought. Given what’s been shown of the game over the past few months, it looks like focusing on the 360 version was the absolutely right way to go. Guess we’ll find out in a few months. Source: Digital Spy
