It’s the words that come out.” This week’s episode referenced Caitlyn Jenner’s ESPYs speech , which was wildly popular; at the time this was filmed, that was 4-5 weeks away. Rather than speaking, Jenner knew she had to focus on listening. Case in point: Blossom, a transgender woman Jenner met at the Human Rights Campaign, who was denied entry into nursing school for being trans. For Caitlyn, this was a watershed moment in her transition. “I’ve lived a great life,” the former Bruce Jenner told the cameras, “and I realize in this transition that I kind of have that privileged status.” She may not share the experience of a typical transgender person and the struggles they face, but what Cait does have is a whole lot of heart. Jenner decided to have I Am Cait ‘s executive producer send Blossom’s story to Ellen DeGeneres, in hopes of spotlighting her story even more. Meanwhile, Jenner confided in friends Candis Cayne and Shandi Moore that she felt for the moment “extraordinarily comfortable” being herself. So much so that she began to dread the trip home; if you watch I Am Cait online , you know that “The Road Trip, Part 2” must soon conclude. But not before she wore her first ponytail while roller skating, and better yet, rocked a white swimsuit for the first time in front of her friends. “It did feel very freeing,” she said, despite all her hesitations about it. “Add I did see my reflection in the glass door. Looked pretty good.” As for the question of whether she is attracted to other women in swimsuits, that loaded question came up … is Caitlyn Jenner gay ? She is and has always been attracted to women, she says, though she does admit some uncertainty and confusion. Not that it matters. “I’ve got bigger things to worry about than an orgasm,” Caitlyn says, though she is handling the weight on her shoulders a lot better. “I’ve probably learned more about me and about life than ever before in my entire life,” Jenner adds, and we can all salute to that.
