One Foot Out: La La Anthony Ditches Wedding Ring, Allegedly Speaking With Divorce Attorneys

Source: Prince Williams / Getty It looks like things between Carmelo and La La Anthony are coming to an end if we’re basing it on the optics. The Power actress has been seen without her wedding ring, and it’s being speculated that she’s seeking a divorce in the wake of Melo’s yacht-spotting scandal. The Blast r eports: La La landed at LAX on Sunday and when photogs snapped the 40-year-old “Power” actress without her wedding ring. La La was sporting a black hoodie and black pants while smiling her way through the airport while on the phone. Our sources say La La has spoken to several divorce attorneys about how to navigate the end of her marriage with Carmelo. It’s unclear if she has hired one and if she is going to pull the trigger. Losing the ring could be a big step in the process. Despite Melo stating that he was on the yacht with friends and business partners, sleuths online discovered the free agent player was laying next to model Sara Smiri. — Photo: Getty

Fernanda Flores: Desperate for Cash After 90 Day Fiance, Divorce?

Last month, Fernanda Flores posted a 44-minute video to explain why she and Jonathan Rivera split. She made it clear that they’ve both moved on. Jonathan has himself a new girlfriend and has not been shy about their adventures together. But it turns out that Fernanda’s new venture may be a little less glamorous than the modeling career that many had assumed. Fernanda is a gorgeous young model living in Chicago, she’s newly divorced, and she even has a boost to her name thanks to 90 Day Fiance fame. The world is her oyster, right? Maybe not. Earlier this week, reports began to circulate that Fernanda was spotted waitressing in Chicago. While it’s true that many bartenders and waitresses are hired in part for their looks, it’s definitely not the same as being a model. Now, the tales of her employment have been confirmed. An eagle-eyed fan spotted Fernanda and was actually served by her at The Shore Club in Chicago. This was on July 4 — the day on which Fernanda posted a photo of herself in red and blue beside a massive beach ball. The fan contacted 90 Day Fiance blogger and unsung hero John Yates and even DMed him some photos, which he shared to Instagram. That looks like Fernanda to us. What’s more is that the fan even volunteered an assessment of what Fernanda was like. “I don’t think she was thrilled I was taking pictures,” the fan confesses to John Yates. “But I was drunk,” the fan explains. “And had to prove it to my friends.” For the record, taking photos of a public figure — like a reality star — is not the same as Alex From Target -ing someone. Still, please be respectful. The fan had nothing but nice things to say about Fernanda. “Even more gorgeous in person,” the fan assesses. “And was working her ass off!” Fernanda didn’t come to America for the American dream, strictly speaking. She came here for love. (People love to accuse her of being a golddigger, but even Jonathan has dismissed those accusations) She lost that love, and now she’s living … well, not the American dream, but the reality of American life. Being a waitress or a bartender or working in food services in any capacity is hard. Customers , as a group, are the worst people on earth. Anyone willing to look them in their soulless eyes and smile is courageous and a dedicated worker. Good for Fernanda for finding gainful employment, particularly in an economy in which one job is so rarely enough to keep you afloat. Her primary goal, we’re sure, is to be able to pay her bills and continue to live her life. That’s how jobs work. But this will also go a long way towards showing people that she didn’t come to the US to lounge around like a princess. We’re sure that she’s still modeling — she’s too gorgeous to not be modeling, really. But if she needs a steadier income to keep a roof over her head or to keep her bills paid, she chose a fine line of work. Congratulations on the new job, Fernanda. Other 90 Day Fiance stars have done far worse. View Slideshow: Jonathan Rivera: 90 Day Fiance Alum Reveals New Girlfriend!

Lisa Vanderpump’s Husband Just DESTROYED All the Real Housewives

They may be known as The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills … …  but not to Ken Todd. To Ken Todd, the long-time husband of veteran reality star Lisa Vanderpump, they should really be known as The Real Backstabbers Who Totally Suck of Beverly Hills. On the occasion of his very own birthday this past Sunday, Todd took to Twitter and absolutely blasted each and every one of his wife’s co-stars. Or former co-stars, we should now write, considering Vanderpump left the Bravo franchise this month after nine memorable seasons. “Yes, it’s my birthday and normally positive things happen on this day! So I would like to get some things off my chest,” Ken opened his viral rant, continuing as follows: “It’s a year next month that all the negativity against my wife started. I know I am not the most eloquent writer — I see and speak in simple terms. “This year, there has been a huge amount of nastiness that has pushed my wife to the brink. When, at a time in her life like this, she needed her friends!” The past several months really have been challenging for Vanderpump. Her brother, Mark, died from a drug overdose last spring — and, while grieving personally, Lisa has since butted heads with several of her castmates, including Kyle Richards, Lisa Rinna, Teddi Mellencamp and Erika Jayne. Perhaps most notably, Vanderpump was at the center of PuppyGate, an actual scandal in which Dorit Kemsley adopted a pet from Vanderpump Dogs… alleged that it nipped at her kids… and then returned it to a shelter, instead of two Lisa’s aforementioned organization. From there, Vanderpump was accused of leaking a story about Kemsley’s dog to the press, an act she has since denied. She even took a lie detector on air to prove her innocence . Added Todd in his diatribe yesterday: “What really irks me is the hypocrisy of this whole matter. “The very PUBLIC issues — lawsuits, over 50 million dollars of them, loans in default, rehab, business misdoings, bankruptcies — have all been swept under the carpet. “Lifestyles paid for with other people’s money, I call bullsh-t!” Todd did not cite any Bravo personalities by name in his message. However, the only time anyone’s financial matters were brought up during shooting was on the second-to-last episode of this season, where Camille Grammer accused Kemsley and her husband of owing a friend of hers $1 million. Grammer also wondered how Kemsley could afford all of her expensive cars and clothes given her alleged knowledge that PK is bankrupt. Again, Todd does not mention this incident in particular. But he does touch on PuppyGate , specifically to how Lisa and her team helped pass House Resolution 401, which calls for an end to the dog and cat meat industry. “It disgusts me that the very fact that a resolution passed through Congress, in an attempt to save thousands of dogs worldwide, was brushed aside — years of our work was ignored as all the focus was on just one dog (that is now in a happy home, not biting, pecking or whatever you choose to call it). “I am not asking for anything now, not even 5 grand owed to our dog charity. But I am asking for this hatred to stop! I didn’t want my wife to go to the reunion as it has been bullying. “Yes, I used that word, bullying, because that is what this nonstop attack has been.” The $5,000 Ken mentions here is the fee Vanderpump Dogs charges people whose adopted puppies end up anywhere other than at their rescue center. It was a fee Vanderpump and Todd initially waived when they found out Dorit’s puppy, Lucy Lucy Apple Juice, ended up at what they claim was a high-kill shelter in Orange County as part of PuppyGate. “It sickened me to see my wife in tears and I am proud of her even doing the Angel Food when she has been so down,” Ken added in regard to LVP’s weekend appearance at a Project Angel Food charity event. He then went into the allegation Grammer made during the season and then accused Kyle Richards of saying off camera — that Vanderpump has “bad breath.” Seriously, dude went deep in this rant. “To now attack her personal hygiene disgusts me, I could put it out here that my wife’s breath is as sweet as she is, as I am the one who kisses her daily I should know,” Ken wrote. “I am so angry as it is a vile lie…like so many other things that have been said about her. “Attacking our [kids’] businesses, Vanderpump Rosé, which we have all worked hard on is just mean spirited! It’s in some of the best restaurants in the world.” In conclusion? “Their pettiness says everything. There are so many things WE could’ve said but haven’t… ‘So it’s not just Goodbye Kyle that I want to say…it’s goodbye to all of the vicious nastiness…there I feel much better now. Happy birthday to me.” Wow. Well… okay then, huh? Part 2 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills reunion airs Tuesday, July 23 at 9/8c. on Bravo.

Instagram Might Start Hiding Public Like Counts & They’re Already Testing It Out In 7 Countries

Source: Peter Cade / Getty Instagram Might Be Getting Rid Of Their Public Like Count Sometime Soon Some of us like to act like we don’t care about Instagram likes–and some of us actually, really don’t care. But others have built entire careers off the number of likes they can pull in per picture, so there’s definitely something important about the number under that little heart icon on all of our pictures. While the number of people who double tap certain photos seems pretty arbitrary, a lot of people are starting to think more and more that the attention we pay to social media can be harmful to our self-esteem, mental health, and other factors in our real life. That’s why Instagram could be getting rid of this feature for good. Instagram is expanding its test of a feature that hides their public “like” counts. The test began in Canada in back in April, and, starting on Wednesday, the test expanded to Ireland, Italy, Japan, Brazil, Australia, and New Zealand. At this point, this is still just an experiment, and Instagram hasn’t said whether or not the feature will come to the US–but this gradual implementation into different areas could be the platform’s way of introducing a really big change. As for the tests going down in these 7 countries, Instagram users can opt out of the test, but it’s on by default. “Likes” aren’t shown in any public part of the app, including on public-facing grids or on the main feed, but the person who posted an image can still see the “like” count privately. We’re currently running a test that hides the total number of likes and video views for some people in the following countries: Australia Brazil Canada Ireland Italy Japan New Zealand pic.twitter.com/2OdzpIUBka — Instagram (@instagram) July 17, 2019 There have been a lot of positive and negative reactions to this newly implemented test run, with most of the concern being for the livelihood of Instagram’s influencers. After the initial idea was announced, Elle ran a story titled “Instagram Is Experimenting With Hiding Likes, Which Would Make It Much Harder to Be an Influencer,” which points out that brands care a lot more about hiring influencers with high engagement rates (a high percentage of likes compared to their follower count) on their posts than they do about how many followers someone has. On the contrary, marketing blogger Charles Tumotto Jackson argued that influencers would be fine — probably just pivoting to a higher reliance on Instagram Stories. That’s where they can use the swipe-up feature to link directly to purchasing pages, and “everything becomes measurable and even more transparent than it used to be.” Plus, like mentioned above, the influencers themselves can still see how many likes are being brought in, which is something they can show to a brand just like the back-end analytics already provides–proving once more that their business and livelihood probably won’t be affected by this change as much as people think. Whether you’re trying to build your influencer game or you just frequent the platform to see what your friends are up to: how do you feel about public “like” counts possibly being no more?

Jenelle Evans Celebrates Milestone with Newly-Reunited Son

For Jenelle Evans, what a difference a week make. Like, what a major difference a week makes. Just consider the following… On July 1, the disgraced ex-Teen Mom star was unsure what the future would bring, as she prepared to attend yet another custody hearing during which she and violent husband David Eason would plead their case. At that time, they had no idea whether their kids would ever be returned to their care. Fast forward seven days, however, and not only are two-year old Ensley and five-year old Kaiser once again living with their famous mother — but Jenelle is sharing photo of her and the latter child celebrating a milestone in the toddler’s life. “Super happy!” Evans Tweeted along with the above photo on Monday, adding: “Kaiser’s school is going to ‘re-do’ his Pre-K Graduation just for him with all his friends since he missed it. Can’t wait to see my Bubba walk… “You did it Bubba! I couldn’t be more proud of you. Now it’s time for the Big Boy School! Extremely grateful Kaiser’s school did their own ceremony for him, since he missed his. #Blessed #Bittersweet.” Addressing Kaiser himself on Instagram, while posting the same snapshot, Jenelle wrote: You’re so perfect . Evans and Eason, of course, lost custody of Kaiser and her sister (and 11-year old Maryssa, David’s daughter from a previous relationship) after Eason shot and killed their family dog. This act prompted a visit from Child Protective Service, who finally intervened and determined the kids were being raised in an unsafe environment. Off Kaiser went to live with his dad, Nathan Griffith, for several weeks; while Ensley was taken in by Jenelle’s mother, Barbara Evans. A North Carolina judge decreed on July 3 that there was insufficient evidence against Jenelle and David to keep their kids away, ordering the young ones to be sent back to Eason and Evans by 10 a.m. EST on July 4. Jenelle promptly shared a number of pictures fron the holiday weekend of her kids having fun in the water. Which is great, obviously. These kids deserve to have all the fun every day of the week. But is Evans celebrating prematurely? Is she really out of the parental woods? Griffith has made it very clear that he won’t stop fighting for custody of Kaiser . For now, though, Jenelle is acting and sounding as if the children are hers forever and ever … which, odds are, will be the case moving forward. “I am ecstatic to regain custody of my kids,” she said in a statement after the custody drama was brought to a conclusion last week, adding: “Throughout this long process and final decision, I am excited to be moving forward and continuing to show America I’m a good parent.” (NOTE: That’s not really a grammatical sentence, Jenelle.) Jenelle went on to say on her Instagram Story that their kids are “happy as can be” back at home — and also revealed her plans to regain custody of her nine-year-old son, Jace, who has lived with his grandma for most of his life. We’re really sorry about that, Jace. View Slideshow: Jenelle Evans Claims She Was THIS Close to Leaving David Eason
