Kid Cudi has a new boo thang! BOSSIP sources have revealed the young lady isn’t exactly a star but she’s well connected in the entertainment world as a celebrity stylist! Our snitch tells us Cudi has been kicking it hard with Mariel Haenn, best known for giving RihRih her edgy look. The pair have been dating on the low since this summer. The new couple met at an L.A. club, and after brushing shoulders on the Hollyweird party scene a few times they finally exchanged numbers and have been kicking it on the regular ever since. Word on the streets is they’ve been trying to keep their status low key and mainly spend time together at his crib in Los Feliz late at night when she wraps up at work. These two have been loving that they both keep busy work schedules because it’s allowed the relationship to breathe so they get plenty of space before getting together at the end of the day. “She’ll come over and they just watch movies or hang in the studio with his boys,” an insider tells BOSSIP. But while things have been low key for a minute, Mariel may be looking for more. “Mariel can’t stop talking about him. She seems excited that she finally has her own guy in the industry to take her to the next level. She’s done well so far but now it’s about her own image.” “She wants to walk the red carpet herself to be honest, and this might just be her ticket,” the source adds. Swirling is nothing new for Cudi. We remember when he was linked to Amanda Bynes and that Jamie Barreto chick. But let’s not forget who Cudi’s FAVORITE white girl is… Speaking of substance abuse — Mariel may want to be careful because we can’t help but to notice that he’s been boozing pretty hard as of late. Our source says the drinking isn’t just a casual thing, friends are concerned that Cudi has developed a serious drinking problem. “He has always been a big whiskey drinker but it seems like the stress from his upcoming album is weighing down on him. He is either stoned or drunk 24/7. No in between,” our BOSSIP source reveals. “Lately his schedule will be him waking up, rolling a b1unt. Starting his day high – he stays inside handling his business and then he’ll hit the studio where he drinks drink after drink after drink. And if he can’t concentrate in the studio then he finds a club about 4 times a week.” Sounds like a hot mess. And especially disturbing because Cudi has a very young daughter ! SMH. Peep the photos from his IG and the recent Gangster Squad premiere below of Cudi boozing it up and enjoy a couple snaps of Mariel as well. With his boozy behavior like it is, does this new relationship stand a chance? We hope he eases up on the alcohol and gets it together. We’d hate to see him lose everything.

As the saying goes, the proof is in the ultrasound. Courtland Rogers got Jenelle Evans pregnant , alright. After sharing a photo of her bare baby bump yesterday, she Tweeted some additional confirmation today: The Teen Mom 2 star’s husband told Star earlier this week that they are expecting. Jenelle and Courtland then confirmed the pregnancy in many, many Tweets. They married in December after a few months of dating. Evans, 21, is already mom to son Jace, 3. Rogers also has a child from a previous relationship; one complicated enough that it caused a brief split with Jenelle over New Year’s. The couple reconciled shortly thereafter … in a big way, apparently. We know Courtland has seen Jenelle Evans nude at least once, are we right?! “Check out my ultrasound picture. If you look closely you can see on the bottom left hand corner it tells you how big the baby is and how far along I am. So excited!” “I circled where the baby is located since its really hard to see,” she added. “I’m seven weeks now and was six weeks and two days when the ultrasound was done.” Courtland Rogers is excited to be a parent again too. “Feels great to be sober and actually get to experience all of this. Especially with my wife,” he tweeted Thursday. “[Jenelle], I love you so much!” Young love.

Ryan Gosling hasn’t saved any lives on the streets of New York lately, or gotten the bottom of the whole Area 51 aliens debate that we know he’ll solve one day. So, in the mean time, let’s take a look at these Wait! What? Internet reports that he almost became a member of the Backstreet Boys . Gosling was a member of the Disney Channel’s Mickey Mouse Club in the mid-1990s — along with Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake — and he did inspire a coloring book last year, so it’s not much of a leap to imagine him wearing lightning-bolt sideburns and an all-white ensemble and using his hands demonstratively as he sings. The thing is, if you look at the Celebuzz video clip that started the blogosphere a-humming, at no point does Gosling say that he wanted to be part of the boy band. McLean , who was talking about starting the band. The rest of Gosling’s spiel seems to be a self-deprecating riff on how wrong he was that the Backstreet Boys wouldn’t make it. This week television’s probing procedural Law & Order: SVU ripped inspiration from the headlines — or rather, the bestseller list — with a case involving the assault of the author of a Fifty Shades of Grey -style novel. (Starring My Girl ‘s Anna Chlumsky!) But what’s the takeaway here? What’s L&O:SVU really trying to say to E.L. James ? Chlumsky guest-starred as Jocelyn Paley, a successful writer whose bondage-fantasy lit phenomenon, 25 Acts , has burned its way up the charts. “Her book makes Fifty Shades look like a Disney story,” explains talk show host Adam Cain (Roger Bart), who then takes fantasies straight from Paley’s book over the rape-y line. As they do each week, the L&O:SVU crew then sets out to seek justice. But there’s a twist! (Uh, spoilers.) Paley’s not the real author of the kinky Fifty Shades stand-in, but has instead claimed credit and made a fortune off of someone else’s writing. Plagiarism: Another shade of grey! (Ok, not really.) In real life, James has tread both moral grounds. As Fifty Shades blazed a kinky trail through the suburbs and lady lit world, critics claimed its depictions of the BDSM community are off-base and promote regressive gender politics. Is protagonist Ana Steele an agent of her own sexual awakening or a pathetic young woman submitting herself to the irresistibly damaged Christian Grey ? The twisty question of authorship put on blast by L&O:SVU also has roots in James’ phenomenal success. First penned and shared online (for free!) as Twilight fan fiction — minus the supernatural stuff, but with all of the emotional desperation — Fifty Shades of Grey became a commercial property when James stopped going by her message-board friendly AKA Snowqueens Icedragon, re-named her characters to avoid copyright infringement, and turned her lusty fanfic into a book . So what’s going on here, L&O ? Does James owe more of a debt than she acknowledges to Twilight and the fan community that once welcomed her as their own? Are there repercussions to cashing in as James did without giving proper credit? Are the Law & Order writers not entirely objective in their deliciously entertaining, headline-ripping yarn-spinning ? Recall that cutting Law & Order: Criminal Intent episode inspired by Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark featuring Cynthia Nixon as a wacko drunk Julie Taymor doppelganger? Yeah, not judgmental at all. I do hope that the producers of the in-development Fifty Shades of Grey movie take note of this L&O: SVU episode and, in some way, acknowledge the meta-fictional incest loop of it all, because by the time the film spanks its way into theaters we’ll have dissected James’ novel — and the phenomenon surrounding it — every which way already. And if the big-screen adaptation is just a straight, lightly erotic retelling of Ana and Christian’s kinky courtship it’ll all seem so… vanilla . Oh, and one more thing: When will Richard Belzer record his Fifty Shades of Grey celebrity narration?
