Back to being besties! Porsha Williams Attends Shamea Morton’s Wedding Porsha Williams and Shamea Morton are apparently back to being besties after nearly falling out on RHOA. As previously reported Phaedra Parks alleged that Shamea’s been sleeping with Kandi AND Todd , and Porsha seemed to confirm it when she added that Shamea’s “really close” with the couple. Now after admitting that she felt betrayed by Porsha , Shamea’s apparently back on good terms with her buddy because Porsha was recently spotted at her wedding. On Saturday Shamea tied the knot with Gerald Mwangi in a traditional African ceremony and Porsha was by her side. Ain’t that sweet? And while she’s forgiven Porsha, Shamea admitted that it’s too late for “devil in a dress” Phaedra to apologize. “I was cordial to Phaedra because of Porsha even last season in Miami, I tolerated Phaedra just because of Porsha’s new friendship with her,” She tells Bravo’s The Daily Dish: “But now, after her making those types of accusations, she just went too far with her chubby a**.” Just a few weeks ago Shamea said that she needed closure with Porsha. “I’m very neutral but I am concerned because I felt a sense of betrayal, I need closure and I need understanding,” said Shamea. “I didn’t understand why her loyalty wavered and why she chose a side.” Looks like these two got that closure! RHOA rumor control… Kim Zolciak Speaks On RHOA Return Rumors As fans prepare to see her make a brief return on tonight’s RHOA season finale, Kim Zolciak is speaking on rumors that she’s coming back for a permanent peach. As previously reported Kim will face off with Kenya Moore at Chateau Sheree and accuse Kenya of being jealous of her husband and her children. There have since been rumors that not only will Kim return, but NeNe Leakes as well for RHOA’s landmark 10th season. Now Kim’s confirming that it’s indeed a possibility for her. She tells PEOPLE that she’s strongly considering a return under one condition; a FAT paycheck. “I’m very motivated by money,” the 38-year-old reality star told the mag. “Everything has a price. I’m just giving it to you straight. Given the right amount of money for anything? Yeah, count me in. I like to work. I have six children to support, so for sure!” She also added that soon after she showed up to Chateau Sheree she was thrown back into the old argumentative ways of RHOA. Thanks Kenya! “I wasn’t going in there blazing or anything. I was just going to have a good time and support Sherée,” said Kim. “And I was like, ‘Is this lady okay? Who cares?’ And then she just started popping off at the mouth – ‘You need to worry about your man.’ And you know I’m the wrong one to be popping off at the mouth to.” […] ‘Why are you talking about my husband? Congressional Black Caucus: President Obama Doesn’t Care About Struggling HBCUs President Obama has received flack from the black community for nearly his entire time in office over claims that he supposedly neglects HBCUs and now a new report from the CBC is echoing those sentiments. via HBCU Digest A report from Congressional Black Caucus blog CrewOf42.com quotes several members of the caucus saying that President Barack Obama offered harsh criticism of black colleges during a meeting with the caucus earlier this week. In his first meeting with the caucus in nearly two years, President Obama said that low graduation rates, not federal funding cuts or his community college free tuition plan, were the greatest threats to HBCUs. “He said there were some HBCUs that were not good at graduating students and if they did not improve they’d have to go by the wayside,” said Rep. Hank Johnson (D-GA). “In other words he didn’t show much empathy for struggling HBCUs. It was like show me the numbers and if the numbers aren’t where they need to be, that’s it. It was a somewhat callous view of the unique niche HBCUs fill,” Rep. Johnson, a graduate of Clark Atlanta University, said. Rep. Johnson said there needs to be a deeper discussion with the President on HBCU issues. Other legislators shared the sentiments. The CBC’s First Vice Chair, Rep. Yvette Clarke (D-NY) said, “I was concerned about what the President said because it feeds into a narrative about the value of these institutions and whether they are equip to educate our students and what the cost is for doing so,” Rep. Clarke added. “Many of these institutions have not had a maintenance of effort on the part of states or the federal government and over time that wears on their ability to maintain standards or even advance beyond a certain level. It was very clear that he doesn’t have the same level of appreciation for what these institutions have done and could do in the future given the right support systems,” Rep. Clarke concluded. President Obama clearly has a million things on his plate and it seems no matter how many of them he’s able to tend to, there’s always someone left dissatisfied with how he decides to handle things. The past two albums have been very frustrating for me. At times there were songs I chose to lead a project and I was ignored! This project, I even tried to get Gimmie Dat started I spent tens of thousands of my own money only to hear the radio pds tell me my label didn’t want the song played. I even spent more than one hundred thousand dollars out of my pocket on the video to bring my vision to it and still no label support. I do understand that some labels are not financially supporting their artists and I have become one of them. You, my fans, know that I strive to do my best to deliver to you the best songs and creative vision I possibly can. I’m dedicated to my music, performance and to my fans! I’ve tried to be a team player with the label only to have compromised what I truly believed..
