Bristol Palin Apologizes For Facebook Drama

‘Willow and I shouldn’t have reacted to negative comments about our family,’ she writes after lobbing insults at another user. By Mawuse Ziegbe Bristol Palin Photo: Frederick M. Brown/ Getty Images Like her mother, Bristol Palin has become a divisive figure for American voters. Although, for the younger Palin, it’s not her political views, but her footwork on “Dancing With the Stars” that has riled up viewers casting their ballots for who will take the crown on the ABC hit. The family has also come under increased scrutiny after the TLC show “Sarah Palin’s Alaska” hit airwaves, and the criticism caused Bristol and another Palin lady to sound off against critics. Bristol’s younger sister Willow lobbed an anti-gay slur at a Facebook user who trashed the reality-show premiere Sunday night, writing , “Tre stfu. Your such a f—-t.” Bristol also jumped in the fray with, “You’re running your mouth just to talk sh–” Days later, however, Bristol took to her Facebook page to apologize for the volley of e-barbs. “Willow and I shouldn’t have reacted to negative comments about our family. We apologize,” read a message posted on her page Wednesday. “On a nicer note, thank you for supporting the great competition in ‘Dancing With the Stars.’ ” Hours after the contrite missive was released, the ballroom-dance novice, whose prolonged stay on “Dancing” has become a heated topic of debate among watchers, rallied her fans and blasted her detractors. “Thank you supporters who continue to support,” she wrote. “The haters are already pulling out all the stops this week to destroy.” As one of the final three celebrities vying for the “Dancing” title, Bristol will hoof it alongside Disney star Kyle Massey and “Dirty Dancing” actress Jennifer Grey, who turned in two perfect-scoring performances on Monday. Although Bristol earned a 53/60 score , the judges conceded the 20-year-old single mom has grown a significant amount over the season. “I still think you’ve come so far,” judge Carrie Ann Inaba said. Chris Brown Gets Praise From Judge At Progress Hearing

‘No one has ever done a better or more consistent job than you have,’ judge tells singer in court. By Mawuse Ziegbe Chris Brown arrives at the courthouse for his hearing on Thursday Photo: Mark Ralston/AFP/Getty Images Chris Brown continues to score praise as he completes the terms of his probation for his much-publicized assault of ex-girlfriend Rihanna. On Thursday (November 18), the singer attended a progress-report hearing in Los Angeles, which was live-streamed by TMZ , in which Judge Patricia Schnegg lavished praise on the “Deuces” crooner. “Of all probationers I’ve ever had, and I’ve had thousands of probationers, no one has ever done a better or more consistent job than you have,” Schnegg said. “And I really want to commend you for taking responsibility, and for actually working diligently to complete all of the things the court has required of you.” Judge Schnegg also remarked that Brown has finished 581 hours of community labor and only has seven more domestic-violence counseling sessions to complete. Brown has another hearing scheduled for January 28 for what Schnegg called one of the last times she plans to see him in court. “You’ve done a very good job,” Schnegg said of Brown’s progress. Schnegg’s praise is consistent with other hearings in which the singer has received a positive progress assessment . Brown, wearing a striped cardigan and dark tie, was mostly silent throughout the brief hearing, nodding occasionally at Schnegg’s comments. Under the terms of Brown’s five-year probation sentence in 2009, the singer is responsible for 180 days of community labor and required to attend domestic-violence counseling for up to one year. He was also issued a stay-away order by the judge that bars him from communicating or associating with Rihanna. Brown’s career has been going well since his last August hearing as well. The singer’s Tyga-assisted collabo “Deuces” topped the charts, and he premiered the dance-driven video for the club-friendly record “Yeah 3X.” Related Photos Rihanna And Chris Brown: A Photo Timeline Related Artists Chris Brown
