As her twin sister Shannon sat in the front row, the former “Bad Girl’s Club” cast member and Yeezy model said she stole her victim’s debit card in order to go on a nearly six-month-long shopping spree and racking up about $20,000 in fraudulent charges. “I knew my conduct was illegal and wrong,” Clermont, 24, clad in leather pants, a linen shirt and platinum blonde wig, told the judge after admitting that she “knowingly and willingly executed a scheme” to defraud. Clermont had initially faced four felony charges, but under a deal with the government, she only pled guilty to one charge and had the others dismissed. Although wire fraud carries a sentence of up to 20 years, the judge told Clermont that the government agreed to a sentence of 12-18 months in federal prison, restitution and up to $55,000 in fines. The model was not accused of being responsible for the victim’s death, something that incensed the more than a half dozen family members at the hearing. “My entire family I lost because of you!” the victim’s sister raged at Clermont as the twins passed by the family after the hearing. Clermont did not respond. Clermont Twins outside of Manhattan Federal Court. Photo by Jennifer H. Cunningham The sister, who asked not to be identified, said that her entire immediate family died following her brother’s death. Her father died of a heart attack three months to the day after her brother’s passing, and her mother died of cancer three months after that. “I will never forgive her for that,” the sister said, her eyes welling with tears. “I stand here as the sole member of my family.” Others in court with ties to the victim questioned why Clermont didn’t do more to help their loved one as he expired. “There was a possibility that when he got sick, all she had to do was pick up the phone and call 911,” family friend Pat Argenti told BOSSIP. “She could have saved his life. The heartlessness of this human being to just walk out – she’s an animal.” Clermont will be sentenced in February 2019. The twin declined to comment outside of court, but her lawyer Jeffrey Lichtman said that she regretted her crimes and wanted to move forward. “This is a sad day for Shannade,” Lichtman told BOSSIP. “She is remorseful for her conduct. Everybody feels bad, but we know she’s not responsible for his death.”

These investigator were playing no games with this guy and his one good eye!
Hopefully, this announcement will lead to a more thorough investigation of this young black man’s brutal death . U.S. Attorney To Make Announcement In Georgia Teen’s Gym Death This case has had so many twist and turns from his death being ruled accidental to the disrespectfully released crime scene photos. According to CNN: Michael Moore, the U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Georgia, is expected to make an announcement Thursday in the case of Kendrick Johnson. The Georgia teen was found dead inside a rolled-up high school gym mat this year. It’s unclear what exactly Moore will say. He has previously said he was reviewing the case and weighing whether to open an investigation. A news conference is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET Thursday. Surveillance images and other materials that could shed light on the January death must be released to the boy’s parents, a Lowndes County judge ruled Wednesday. “We are happy to hear we are one step closer to the truth,” Kendrick Johnson’s father, Kenneth Johnson, said after the hearing. A state medical examiner ruled Kendrick, a high school athlete, suffocated after getting stuck in the gym mat. His parents — who believe he was murdered — disputed the findings and won a court order to have their son’s body exhumed for another autopsy. The materials to be released by the judge — photographs from inside the gym at Lowndes County High School, surveillance video from outside and investigative documents — are unlikely to prove what happened to the boy, attorney Chevene King said. We want justice. None of the imagery is believed to show what led to Kendrick’s death, King said. But the materials could cast doubt on the official explanation and nudge officials toward reclassifying Kendrick’s death to allow a new investigation into what happened, King said. “Essentially, it shifts the focus from what the sheriff had offered to other theories that were not explored and that have I think begun to slowly creep to the surface,” King said after the hearing. CNN has obtained surveillance video showing Kendrick walking along a school hallway and into the gym where he was later found dead. Another student is seen walking in ahead of him. The video also shows Kendrick inside the gym, walking out of the shot, and other students playing basketball. The school district and sheriff’s office had refused to release some of the materials, citing state law that exempts the release of “education records of a minor child.” CNN filed a motion last week to join the family’s lawsuit seeking investigative files related to the case, including the surveillance records. The motion was granted. Kendrick’s parents will be among those who will review the images. You can’t prepare yourself for it,” he told reporters. “It’s just something we have to do. We’re fighting for Kendrick to the end.” This family has gone through enough and needs answers. Continue reading →
Kanye wishes he could trade places with Lamar. Lamar Odom Will Not Face Charges For Trashing Photographer’s Equipment According to TMZ Lamar Odom has just dodged a bullet — he will NOT be prosecuted for trashing a photog’s equipment … TMZ has learned. The L.A. City Attorney will not file criminal vandalism charges against Khloe’s hubby for destroying a camera guy’s equipment last month in Hollywood. Instead, as TMZ reported several days ago, the matter will be set for an informal hearing in the City Attorney’s office. The hearing is basically a sit down with both Lamar and the photog. The hearing office will explain the ground rules when there’s a dispute between a celeb and the paparazzi. It’s possible … at the end of the hearing, Lamar could be ordered to attend anger management classes. But short story … victory for Lamar. Lamar not facing charges gives him more time to focus on keeping his birds quiet and mending his dirty doggin’ ways.

Edward Furlong has somehow landed back in a jail cell. Again. The troubled Terminator 2 star got popped last month for allegedly violating a restraining order taken out against him by his ex-girlfriend Rachel Kneeland. The restraining order was in place after he was arrested for shoving her . Furlong was released on $50,000 bail following that arrest, but yesterday during a court hearing, a judge decided to raise the amount to $100K. Just because? We have no idea. But he hasn’t paid it, at least not yet, and was remanded into custody. Another hearing is set for later this month. It’s unclear if he’ll be out by then … or if he should be.
Lauryn, Uncle Sam plays no games. Lauryn Hill Sentenced To 3 Months In Jail According to TMZ Lauryn Hill has been sentenced to spend 3 months in FEDERAL PRISON for tax evasion … even though she claims she paid off her nearly $1 million bill to Uncle Sam before sentencing. A judge in Newark, New Jersey dished out the sentence moments ago … and told Hill that after she completes her stint behind bars, she’ll spend 3 more months on house arrest … followed by 9 months of supervised release. Before the hearing, Hill’s attorney told the media the singer scraped together more than $970,000 to repay her debt to the government. The 37-year-old former Fugee pled guilty last year to three counts of tax evasion for failing to file returns on $1.8 million she earned from 2005 to 2007. Lauryn’s attorney asked for mercy because of her charity work and 6 kids … but the judge wasn’t buying it. During the hearing, the judge ordered Hill to report to prison by July 8. It’s unclear where Hill will serve her time. Hill was present during the hearing, and delivered a statement to the judge in which she compared her situation to slavery. “I was put into a system I didn’t know the nature of. … I’m a child of former slaves. I got into an economic paradigm and had that imposed on me,” Hill said. She continued, “I sold 50 million units … now I’m up here paying a tax debt. If that’s not likened to slavery, I don’t know what is.” Like we said before, that smooth chocolate skin and soulful voice makes her a target in jail. Hopefully, she can figure out a master plan to keep the savages off of her. Wenn
