How Did Alec Baldwin Lose 30 Pounds in Four Months?

We knew Jack Donaghy looked sharper in a suit this season on 30 Rock . Backstage at the Screen Actors Guild Awards on Sunday, Alec Baldwin told Access Hollywood he was diagnosed with diabetes in May 2011 and proceeded to lose about 30 pounds in four months. His trick? “I gave up sugar,” the actor said, adding that “I do Pilates and spin… When we’re shooting and I can’t work out, I just have to eat less. So I’m very conscious of that.” Baldwin – who took home the trophy for Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series at the event

Last night’s SAG Awards brought out the best stars of film and TV. Ashlee Simpson was there too! As you can see, Jessica’s little sis is sporting short hair and a rail-thin frame these days. In a nice dress, sure, but she’s looked better. Contrast her with Melissa McCarthy, whose Bridesmaids quotes and Mike & Molly quotes leave us in stitches – and who proves you can be plus-sized and fashionable! Which star looked better last night at the SAG Awards? Vote!

Justin Bieber Wins NRJ Artist of the Year Award

While those in the movie and TV business gathered in Hollywood last night for the 2012 SAG Awards , Justin Bieber was in Cannes, France for the NRJ Music Awards, which takes place every year in January and which were created by a radio station in that country. It was a worthwhile trip for the singer, too… because he won Artist of the Year! “i never thought i would ever get out of stratford and now im celebrating in france. never gets old. ALWAYS grateful! #Ilovemyfans,” Justin Tweeted soon after taking home the trophy. We applaud the Biebs for earning yet another honor, but we gotta ask: bright blue sports jacket, JB? Really?!? Not sure if we approve of that fashion statement.

Faith Hill Performs "Come Home" at People’s Choice Awards [Video]

For country music fans, Faith Hill‘s performance of her new song “Come Home” was the highlight of the 2012 People’s Choice Awards Wednesday night on CBS. Granted, Taylor Swift won Favorite Country Artist, and deservedly so, but there’s no doubt Faith helped pave the way for such crossover stars like T-Swift. Last night, Hill returned to the national spotlight for just the third time in recent years, singing the song that she debuted at the CMA Awards in November. With the emotions of the song heavy on her face, Hill immersed herself in the ballad. “Come Home” is the lead single from her upcoming, untitled new album: Faith Hill – Come Home (Live at People’s Choice Awards)
