By Jayson Rodriguez Lil Wayne Photo: Kevin Winter/ Getty Images Lil Wayne’s otherworldly talents have inspired the rapper to dub himself “a Martian.” And for his latest video , the title track to his forthcoming album I Am Not a Human Being , director David Rousseau explored the reference. “It’s one of those things where you can interpret it like we’re trying to dissect who Lil Wayne is,” Rousseau told MTV News. “How does his mind work? He’s almost grown into a mythology now. He’s not even human. He’s like Michael Jordan. The way Michael Jordan dunks a ball wasn’t even human.” The frenzied video features Lil Wayne and his glow-in-the-dark tattoos contrasted with images of written rhymes splashed across the screen. Rousseau said the images were meant to provoke deeper thought into Wayne’s writing process. Oftentimes, the director said, because of the rapper’s personality, the ideas of his lyrics aren’t fully comprehended. “It’s just that dissection of the myth and the man, separating him from the lyrics,” he explained. “Because he’s one of those artists where people hang onto every lyric. He’s not just rapping about anything, you know? Read between the lines and find out what his message is about and stuff. It’s kind of pointing fans at doing that. There’s a deeper meaning to what he’s rapping about, and you gotta get in there.” A leaked version of the video hit the Web last week, but the complete “I Am Not a Human Being” clip was released Wednesday. Lil Wayne’s I Am Not A Human Being Now Full-Length Album

By Mawuse Ziegbe Lil Wayne Photo: Kevin Winter/Getty Images Lil Wayne shouldn’t have any trouble staying busy once he wraps up his jail bid in November . As soon as he’s a free man, he’s scheduled to hit the stage with a blow-out homecoming concert slated to coincide with the tentative release of his heavily-anticipated Tha Carter IV album . However, before any of that jumps off, the MC is expected to drop even more music than originally promised on his upcoming project I Am Not A Human Being, which is scheduled to be released digitally on his birthday, September 27. Weezy’s manager, Cortez Bryant, recently told that Human Being will be a full-length release, instead of an EP, featuring tracks that were initially slated for Carter IV. “I know once he got out [of jail] those songs would be so old to him,” Bryant said. Bryant also disclosed that Wayne has revisited one of his old habits while riding out his sentence. The MC has been penning new lyrics on paper instead of keeping his rhymes in head. “He hasn’t written anything down since 2002 or 2003,” Bryant said. Weezy’s manager also unveiled a 12-song tracklisting populated with features from Young Money/Cash Money artists such as Minaj, Drake, Jay Sean, Tyga, Lil Twist and Jae Millz. In addition to the new Weezy music on the way, the unfinished video for the track “I Am Not a Human Being” recently hit the Internet. The trippy visual surprised many of the superstar MC’s fans by showcasing some of Weezy’s unique ink. “The thing about this video, it was his concept to shoot the black light, ’cause that way the tats that he has, they glow in the dark. That’s actually for real; that’s not a camera trick or post-production,” video director David Rousseau told MTV News . “The tattoos that he has on him when you put the black light on him, they glow in the dark. A curse because the Cash Money Records superstar is incarcerated and not readily available to approve changes or edits; a gift, though, because the rapper is exuberant and camera-friendly, ready to offer concepts and suggestions for his clips. For his “I Am Not a Human Being” visual — which is still not ready; the version that landed online Wednesday wasn’t finished — Wayne came up with the idea to showcase his glow-in-the-dark tattoos. “The thing about this video, it was his concept to shoot the black light, ’cause that way the tats that he has, they glow in the dark. That’s actually for real; that’s not a camera trick or post-production,” Rousseau told MTV News. “The tattoos that he has on him when you put the black light on him, they glow in the dark. He came up with that idea. So really, the rest of the video was a springboard on that.” The song is the title track from Weezy’s forthcoming EP, which is set to drop later this month for free on the Web. The footage from the clip was shot earlier this year, when Wayne and Rousseau worked on upward of 12 videos the rapper hoped to finish before his incarceration, including numbers for his Rebirth album and portions of Drake’s “Miss Me” clip . When Rousseau sat down to work with all the material after Wayne turned himself in to a New York City prison, the director said his work was easier after the foundation was already laid. Rousseau said he just had to listen to the lyrics and portray the MC in an abstract sense, which includes contrasting shots of his writing process and flashes of money. “After listening to the track, he’s talking about just not being a human being, being totally different, is he an alien,” Rousseau explained. “So the idea grew from that. The youngest of the Young Money crew, Lil Twist and Lil Chuckee, are working the Net and the mixtape circuit, as are Jae Millz and Gudda Gudda. Tyga, who’s performing shows in South Africa this week, just dropped a video for his Lil Wayne-featured “I’m On It,” and of course, his Chris Brown collaboration “Deuces” is an undeniable people-propelled hit. The record was a mixtape song, but through requests and video play on MTV Jams and “106 & Park,” it’s become a number-one hit. Young Money president Mack Maine says that Tyga has an official second single coming soon and is hoping the company releases his album before 2010 is over. If not, look for Tyga at the top of 2011. The biggest Young Money releases this year, of course, are coming courtesy of the leader of the family, Lil Wayne. Weezy has a 10-song project called I Am Not a Human Being that will be released digitally on his birthday, September 27. YM has tentative plans to come right back with more Weezy on November 5. Amy Poehler and Will Arnett’s family is growing fast. The actress and comedian, whose Parks and Recreation quotes leave us howling every week, gave birth to the couple’s second son Friday morning. Abel James Arnett weighed in at 7 lbs., 13 oz., and joins older brother Archie, who was born in October 2008. Congratulations to the happy family! “Amy, Will, Abel and Archie are all healthy and resting comfortably,” says her rep. Parenthood, Arnett raves , is “just the best. It’s a human being that you’re responsible for. Scary, but even in its scariest moments it’s fantastic.” Amy and Will are parents to two sons now! Poehler is nominated for an Emmy for her lead role on Parks . She’s ready, too: “I am going to have a baby a couple weeks before. I do it every year. I get my hair and nails done, I get a facial, I have a baby and then I go to the Emmys.” Indeed!
