I know it’s been a while since we’ve had Bar Paly on the site, but don’t blame me. Blame whoever stopped inviting the Israeli hottie to movie premieres. Anyway, luckily that’s all over now, because here she is at Global Green USA’s 12th annual Pre-Oscar Party, proving she’s still hands down the the hottest Bar in Hollywood and probably the rest of the world too. Now I just have to figure out who I have to bribe to get on the guest list… Photos: WENN.com Continue reading →
Hours after The Real Housewives of Atlanta fight heard ’round the world, Kenya Moore issued a statement and made one thing crystal clear: She does not condone violence. No way, no how. Sure, she might have antagonized Porsha Williams by insulting her intelligence and marriage, even bringing props to goad her co-star even more aggressively. But there’s just no excuse for violence, people. The Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion Fight After weeks of speculation surrounding their reported brawl on set, viewers finally saw Porsha Williams beat down Kenya Moore Sunday on Bravo. As you can see if you re- watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online , Porsha may have thrown down, but Kenya was hardly an innocent bystander. Moore sure makes it seem that way though, first with her eye-rolling 911 call and now with a statement she’s released in the aftermath of the episode. Williams faces battery charges following an investigation, though Moore is reportedly willing to drop the charges if she receives a sincere public apology. Good luck with that. There’s clearly no love lost between the two reality stars, who went at each other all season long, sparring (verbally) on the hit series. Even Kenya’s statement subtly digs at Porsha, touting Moore’s own intelligence and casting herself above the fray – not that she couldn’t take Williams. She’s been trained by Israeli special forces in self-defense, Kenya claims, and can take anyone down in three moves. She just chose not to here. Mmm hmm. So whose side are you on in this epic celebrity feud? Read her statement in its entirety after the jump and decide: Watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 6 Episode 23 Online During the taping of the Reunion for the Real Housewives of Atlanta, I was violently attacked by Porsha Williams. The episode, which aired tonight, Sunday, April 20, 2014, was taped in front of an audience of over 50 people, which included cast, crew, guests and executives, who served as witnesses. I called 911 to report the incident. Atlanta police conducted an independent investigation, which included viewing the raw footage of the incident. As a result, Porsha Williams was charged with battery. The authorities will decide her fate, not me. There are many inflammatory statements made by cast members to and about each other particularly during the reunion tapings. Many have made untrue, denigrating, disparaging, and inflammatory statements against me in an attempt to provoke me, but I have never reacted in a violent way. My intellect and my brain are my most powerful weapons – not my fists. If people get so angry that they lose control and admittedly “black out” and resort to violence, those persons must be held responsible for their actions. Being on a reality show does not absolve people of their rights. After being repeatedly attacked by an abusive boyfriend at the age of 17, if someone puts their hands on me, I will not just let it go. With that said, I sought self-defense training developed for the Israeli military. I’ve been trained in weapons. I can take someone down in three moves. It took discipline for me not to respond in kind. As violent responses escalate, they can quickly result in severe injury or even death. Being the second Black woman to be crowned Miss USA, there are little girls who look up to me. I would never want those girls, my nieces, or my future children to see me fighting anyone. That’s the lesson we should all send, especially to young people – no matter how angry someone makes you feel by what they say to or about you, violence is never an option. #stoptheviolence You buying it? Sharon was 85. Sharon died at Sheba Medical Center in the Tel Aviv suburb of Tel Hashomer. The Israeli statesman was a national war hero to many Israelis for his leadership, both in uniform or as a civilian, during every Israeli war. Many in the Arab world called Sharon “the Butcher of Beirut” after he oversaw Israel’s 1982 invasion of Lebanon while serving as defense minister. He was in his fifth year as prime minister when he suffered a massive stroke in January 2006, which left him comatose. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time. WENN
