Conrad Murray to Joe Jackson: Beat It!

Dr. Conrad Murray wants Joe Jackson’s wrongful death lawsuit thrown out, and he may get his wish, thanks to Joe being bat$h!t insane a statute of limitations. The embattled doc’s lawyer has filed a motion to dismiss Joe’s lawsuit, claiming he missed the one-year filing deadline and the claim should be tossed ASAP. Charles Peckham claims Joe’s lawyer, Brian Oxman, filed the lawsuit 158 days after the one-year deadline. There’s also a matter of viability on its own merit. How do you choose sides here? Because Michael deliberately did not leave money to Joe in his will (his mom, his kids and charities will split it all), Joe’s entitlement claims may be a stretch. In other words, look for a dismissal one way or the next. We don’t know exactly when, but when it’s thrown out, Terry Henderson will be pumped for Conrad. Good thing, too. Murray has enough on his plate, pending trial for involuntary manslaughter and all. No need to battle a frivolous lawsuit from some clown.

Joe Jackson: Michael Was Not Gay!

Amid reports (ones corroborated by a close friend) that Michael Jackson had an affair with Jason Pfeiffer , Joe Jackson is denouncing the notion that MJ was gay. Joe, Michael’s father, is royally pissed at his former best friend/doctor, Arnold Klein, for claiming MJ was gay and had a relationship with Klein’s office manager. Joe railed against Klein, saying: “It’s not true. Michael was not gay. [Klein] has no respect for Michael … to say things about him when he’s gone is shameful.” Jason Pfeiffer was on TV last week, claiming he had a sexual relationship with Michael, and Dr. Arnold Klein spoke of walking in on the two men shirtless. Later, Dr. Arnold Klein said matter-of-factly: “Was he gay? Yes.” Joe Jackson: Not a big fan of Arnie Klein . Not only was Michael Jackson a homosexual, Klein says, he had no problem with people knowing … which seems unlikely, as he shrouded himself in secrecy. In any case, never one to miss a quotable opportunity, Joe Jackson went on, “He’s a doctor and knows better than to break his vows against a patient.” Speaking of doctors who broke plenty of vows, how happy is Dr. Conrad Murray right now? A scandalous Jackson story that has nothing to do with him! Are you buying it? Do you think Michael Jackson was …

Dr. Conrad Murray: Hangin’ By a Thread

As Dr. Conrad Murray’s April 5 hearing approaches, lawyers representing Michael Jackson’s former personal physician have filed legal papers fighting California Attorney General and medical board attempts to have his medical license revoked. Their rationale? Murray’s financial difficulties. “[Murray] is, without fear of overstatement, hanging on by a thread,” his attorney wrote . “His ability to pay for his own defense depends almost entirely on his ability to continue to treat patients.” Murray also owes child support payments. Dr. Conrad Murray pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter charges stemming from Jackson’s 2009 death, ruled a homicide after the singer died of “acute Propofol intoxication.” Murray is believed to have given Jackson Propofol. While losing his medical license in California won’t affect Murray’s finances directly – he has no patients or clinics in the state – Murray fears the medical board ruling would have a “domino effect” in states where he does practice, Texas and Nevada. In fact, California’s move already reached Nevada, where the medical board filed a formal complaint against Murray alleging that the doctor failed to report delinquent payments in his child support when filing to renew his medical license. That could result in the revocation of a Nevada license for Dr. Conrad Murray . “If Dr. Murray is unable to practice medicine in Texas, and especially Nevada, he will likely be faced with the inability to adequately defend himself of the charges facing him in the Superior Court of California,” Murray’s lawyers wrote. In addition to administering Jackson Propofol, a powerful sedative usually reserved for hospital use, court papers have also revealed that Murray is accused of halting CPR on Jackson in order to hide vials of sedatives before paramedics arrived.
