Perverts: Plastic Surgeon Popped For Secretly Videotaping Patients In The Buff!

Los Angeles Plastic Surgeon Charged With Secretly Taping Patients While They Undressed What a creeper! One of the guys behind some of the knifed up action going down in Hollyweird has been arrested for acting like a Peeping Tom and a Chester The Molester AT WORK! A notable plastic surgeon who transforms Hollywood’s rich and famous also allegedly filmed them fully unclothed without their consent. He now faces serious charges that could land him in jail for two years and on the registry of sex offenders for the rest of his life. Lance Everett Wyatt, 42, of Sherman Oaks covertly videotaped his patients as they undressed, according to authorities. The Los Angeles plastic surgeon faces six misdemeanor charges. The allegations against Wyatt – director of the Wyatt Center for Plastic Surgery and the Institut d’Esthetique – include unlawful filming of another person, unlawful viewing of another person, sexual battery on a patient and unlawful use of force and violence, according to the Medical Board of California. During a post-operative exam, a patient noticed a video camera recording her undressing. She brought the camera to the police, triggering a year-long investigation by the attorney’s office and California’s Medical Board, reports KTLA. City Attorney Carmen A. Trutanich announced the accusations against Wyatt on Thursday. “Patients deserve to feel safe and secure while in the care of their physician,” Trutanich said in a press release. “Our charges allege that Dr. Wyatt violated that sacred trust and he should be held accountable.” Upon reviewing the video footage, the L.A. Attorney’s special victims section saw Wyatt allegedly touching at least one patient inappropriately, prompting the sexual battery charge. Linda Whitney, executive director of the Medical Board, is dedicated to protecting patients from such conduct violations. “The mission of the Medical Board is public protection,” she said, “and this action reflects the Board’s ongoing commitment.” Wyatt’s credentials are impressive, to say the least. He was a clinical fellow in surgery at the Harvard Medical School and the chief resident in the Harvard Combined Plastic Surgery Residency Training Program. Throughout the 1990s, he worked at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, where he received his medical degree. His peer-reviewed literature has appeared in worldwide forums and he has authored six textbook chapters, according to his website. EBONY Magazine listed Wyatt as one of the 50 Leaders of Tomorrow. Wyatt has appeared on multiple television programs, such as “The Doctors” and “20/20.” SMH… Guess he won’t be getting any more profiles in Ebony Magazine. Shame on ninja doctor! Source

Joe Jackson Blames AEG for Michael’s Death, Too

We know Michael Jackson’s death was tragic and all, but it’s kind of sleazy how his crazy father Joe seems bent on blaming/suing everyone on the planet for it. It’s like he wants to sponge off of his son for attention and/or money, even after the music icon passed away. We’d feel bad implying that if it weren’t obvious. In any case, Joe’s latest beef – he’s already sued Dr. Conrad Murray and blamed Katherine Jackson , his own wife, for Michael’s untimely demise – is with AEG. Murray requested lifesaving equipment and back-up help for Michael from his London concert promoter, Joe claims, but the company never came through . Joe Jackson is gunning for AEG by filing complaints with the California Medical Board and another agency, alleging that the concert promoter abused his son. Joe Jackson is going after Dr. Conrad Murray … and his corporate boss . Days before MJ’s death, Murray had requested a heart resuscitation machine and a nurse in several e-mails making the request, but AEG never provided it. Joe is accusing AEG of co-opting Dr. Conrad Murray’s medical judgment by enticing him with a huge salary, an “unlawful practice of corporate medicine.” Besides the CPR machine, he also asked for saline, catheters, needles and a gurney. The doc, of course, has been charged with involuntary manslaughter. Murray is expected to argue that, as an addict used to getting his way, Michael Jackson killed himself with a lethal Propofol injection when he wasn’t looking. That allegation promoted a wrongful death suit from Joe. What will his next move be? Who knows. Just another day in a saga unfolding for nearly a year.

Dr. Conrad Murray Facing Civil, Criminal Woes

As we previously reported, Dr. Conrad Murray is the subject of a wrongful death lawsuit, in addition to criminal charges (manslaughter) regarding Michael Jackson. The embattled former physician of the late icon has thus retained a civil lawyer, Charles Peckham, who handles medical board cases and wrongful death lawsuits. His criminal defense is likely based on these claims about Jackson . His civil defense is likely to fall along similar lines, but there is the matter of who’s paying for it. The lawyer has been in touch with Dr. Murray’s malpractice insurance carrier, which has revealed a particularly tricky situation, even by Conrad Murray standards. Apparently, Dr. Murray had a malpractice policy issued in Texas that covered his medical practices in Texas and Nevada … but of course, MJ died in California . Murray did not have a medical practice in California, which is a prerequisite for his malpractice coverage, even though he treated Jackson almost exclusively there. So Dr. Murray’s defense is that he first saw Michael Jackson as a Nevada patient and what he did for him in L.A. was merely an extension of the Nevada treatment. Whether that holds up under examination by the legal system remains to be seen, but it’s crucial because malpractice policy covers civil litigation, but not criminal. In the event the doctor is sued for wrongful death, and Joe Jackson will do the honors, Murray expects the policy would cover attorney’s fees and any judgment. We suspect the insurance company will argue otherwise. Murray is expected to argue that Michael killed himself with Propofol and the doctor is not responsible.

Dr. Conrad Murray: Hangin’ By a Thread

As Dr. Conrad Murray’s April 5 hearing approaches, lawyers representing Michael Jackson’s former personal physician have filed legal papers fighting California Attorney General and medical board attempts to have his medical license revoked. Their rationale? Murray’s financial difficulties. “[Murray] is, without fear of overstatement, hanging on by a thread,” his attorney wrote . “His ability to pay for his own defense depends almost entirely on his ability to continue to treat patients.” Murray also owes child support payments. Dr. Conrad Murray pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter charges stemming from Jackson’s 2009 death, ruled a homicide after the singer died of “acute Propofol intoxication.” Murray is believed to have given Jackson Propofol. While losing his medical license in California won’t affect Murray’s finances directly – he has no patients or clinics in the state – Murray fears the medical board ruling would have a “domino effect” in states where he does practice, Texas and Nevada. In fact, California’s move already reached Nevada, where the medical board filed a formal complaint against Murray alleging that the doctor failed to report delinquent payments in his child support when filing to renew his medical license. That could result in the revocation of a Nevada license for Dr. Conrad Murray . “If Dr. Murray is unable to practice medicine in Texas, and especially Nevada, he will likely be faced with the inability to adequately defend himself of the charges facing him in the Superior Court of California,” Murray’s lawyers wrote. In addition to administering Jackson Propofol, a powerful sedative usually reserved for hospital use, court papers have also revealed that Murray is accused of halting CPR on Jackson in order to hide vials of sedatives before paramedics arrived.
