By now you’ve seen the awesome trailer for Cowboys & Aliens , you’ve enjoyed director Jon Favreau’s lively interviews with the film’s executive producer Steven Spielberg and star Harrison Ford , and you’ve listened to possible love interest Olivia Wilde describe the time she was nearly trampled to death by a horse on the sci-fi thriller’s set. Friday Box Office: Hop Jumps To Number One Over Time-Jumping Jake Gyllenhaal

Mindful of how much he owes to the Comic-Con faithful for jump-starting early word of mouth on the Iron Man franchise, he came to San Francisco this weekend with a treat: Nine minutes of footage from Cowboys & Aliens cut exclusively for the WonderCon audience, including a special reveal of the film’s big, bad aliens — aliens that Favreau otherwise intends to keep under wraps.

Can You Honestly Tell the Difference Between Glee and Kidz Bop’s ‘Tik Tok’?

This Glee show that Julie likes is out of control. It’s unfunny, witlessly tone-shifty, and a pox on this Golden Age of Television that keeps happening. Also, the “music” is scathing! Case in point: In the musical preview for next week’s episode, we hear the show’s clear-best character Brittany lead Ke$ha’s “Tik Tok.” Compare that rendition to the Kidz Bop Kids version and tell me if there’s really any difference (besides the awesomely kid-friendly lyrics).

Fanboys Rejoice! Shane Black to Direct, Maybe Pen Iron Man 3

Writer-director Shane Black is reportedly in negotiations to direct Iron Man 3 , taking over from series helmer Jon Favreau for the threequel, which is already slated for release on May 3, 2013. But hey, no pressure! Two years should be plenty of time for the guy who wrote Lethal Weapon in six weeks. Besides, Black’s got plenty of qualifications that should inspire fanboy confidence.
