Kendall Jenner made a visit to Ellen on Friday! But, before getting into the latest family drama, Kendall had something serious to discuss with the comedian. “Honestly, I was a little offended that I haven’t ever been scared before,” she told Ellen. “I feel like all my family members have been scared, and you got my mom really good last time.” Yes, probably the best scare in the history of scares . Kris falling over out of pure fear and claiming that she “wet her pants” was way too good to not re-share with the audience. But, Ellen was prepared for Kendall this time and not only had one scare staged for the model but two! And though the first one, which featured snakes falling from the ceiling, surprisingly didn’t make the model jump, scream or cry the prankster queen had another trick up her sleeve. While Ellen was busy distracting Kendall with boyfriend questions, a large man dressed up as mom Kris Jenner, popped out of a box. Kendall Jenner Gets Scared on Ellen Honestly, it got us all. The successful scare pleased the reality star and the two continued on with the more important stuff… you know like addressing whether or not her sister is actually pregnant and the real reason why she missed out on her family Christmas card. Kylie Jenner sparked all kinds of internet buzz when she “posted a pic of her and Travis Scott getting very cozy with the cryptic caption, baby #2,” according to Toofab . Ellen figured it was a pregnancy reveal, along with the rest of us, but Kendall had a different explanation. “I think she was just like, ‘we are looking good and we are really into one another’ and maybe baby number two is gonna happen,” Kendall responded. “They’re practicing, right?” she asked. “Is that what you call it? Ellen joked back saying “I don’t call it anything.” But, we get you, Kendall. It’s just practice! Which tells us that Kylie and the rapper do intend on having more babies together in the future, which could be right around the corner. I hope the couple doesn’t continue to test out their baby reveal announcement via Instagram because we can’t handle all the false hope. The talk show host also covered a never before discussed topic (a joke) about why Kendall missed out on the Kardashian Christmas card. But her excuse was nothing thrilling: “We were on set all day and we hadn’t really planned a Christmas card,” Kendall said. “Kim was like we’re all ready why don’t we just do a Christmas card, and I was like, “I gotta go. I had to run with my mom to somewhat of a work thing, so we didn’t really have time.” But, she was totally cool with the final product and thought the moms and their kids all looked great. She did have some fun however with all the online jokes and even horribly photoshopped her face into the card. Kim Kardashian did admit that she felt bad her sister missed the picture and actually considered doing a professional add-in of the 23-year-old. Overall, the Ellen episode shared some fascinating highlights of Kenny finally getting spooked and that Kylie is not pregnant with baby #2…yet? Over the weekend, social media exploded with the Fyre Festival. Not because there was a new one planned but because of the two documentaries, on Hulu and Netflix respectively released on January 14 and January 18th. Fyre Fraud on Netflix and Fyre Festival: The Greatest Party That Never Was show different sides of the fallout from the 2017 festival created by rapper Jah Rule and serial entrepreneur William “Billy” McFarland. Here are five reasons you should watch. (A picture is painted of the shenanigans that took place in each documentary but for the purposes of this story we are referencing the Netflix doc. 1.THE AUDACITY OF CAUCASITY: William ‘Billy” McFarland is a scammer and a criminal mastermind. He is also now a convicted felon though six years seems too little for a man who ran multiple scams of which the Frye Festival was the largest.And all by 25 years old, mind you. The New Jersey native, raised by parents that are real estate developers, first ran a company called Magnesis that produced and provided access to luxury events. Through the connections he made there, McFarland creates an artist booking app and hooks up with rapper Jah Rule to conceive a luxury music festival on a private island in the Bahamas. Without ruining it for you, McFarland uses a shoot with top models and social media influencers to advertise the festival which sells out. With $27 M in hand, McFarland soon either finds himself in over his head, or he knows from the beginning he can’t pull it off, because one of the doc’s unanswered questions is if the money wasn’t used for booking acts for festival infrastructure, where did it go? 2. FOLLOW THE RULE Rapper Jah Rule was the festival’s hype man and McFarland’s partner, who seems largely to have been used as celebrity bait. Somehow, even though the festival was geared to millennials, Rule had just enough star power to make it legit. But by the time the festival came to its inevitable downfall, you’re not sure how much he knew or didn’t know, especially as it seems he never actually makes it to the island on the day of the festival. After the docs aired, Rule born, Jeffrey Atkins says that he, too was hoodwinked, but there’s a scene in the doc that suggests once he knew the extent of the Fyre Festival deception, he was more interested in spinning it than making the situation right. THE MODELS Had McFarland chosen to use his powers for good, The Fyre Festival could have been a huge success. Like many scammers, McFarland’s greatest talent was to convince a lot of people that nothing was something. A marketing video shot on the private island where the festival was initially supposed to take place on with top models/influencers Chanel Iman, Emily Ratajkowski, Hailey Baldwin Bieber, Kendall Jenner, Bella Hadid went viral. Those models have now been subpoenaed about their participation for the bankruptcy case arising from the failed festival. McFarland also reportedly paid influencer Jenner $250K for the orange square post that when simultaneously posted by an army of influencers also went viral and created demand for tickets, despite the fact that the advertised acts would have barely sold out a day at Made In America or any other U.S. festival. 4.FOMO IS REAL FOMO, the condition known as “Fear Of Missing Out” was apparently the impetus for thousands to sell out the festival days after it was advertised. That was one of the things that may have made McFarland decide that the stress of actually putting on a festival and the work and money it required would have been too hard, when just keeping the money would be easier. Once the marketing effort was over with, the doc is a descent into chaos that seems very clearly was never going to be pulled off. Aside from the questions of funding, organization and infrastructure, there was also just plain bad juju that hovered over the festival in its planning stages. Despite the young talent McFarland amassed to build the artist booking app that was to become and integral part of Fyre Media pre-and post festival, they were mostly wasted as the festival, the app and the company were all casualties of the mess he created. 5. WHAT PEOPLE DO FOR WATER Event producer Andy King will go down in documentary history as the individual most willing to take one for the team. His testimony about what happened when the Bahamian government denied festival organizer access to four trucks filled with Evian water became meme and social media gold after the doc aired. We won’t spoil it for you here but let’s just say, if you had to pull off a near impossible event with little resources and an egomaniacal con man at the helm, he’s the guy you want. Since that time, he’s been working hard to remind us that even if there’s no merit to the accusations, Chris Brown is still an awful human being. Brown is suing his accuser and has been working hard to discredit her with vitriolic social media tirades. While decent human beings recognize the malice and insanity in such actions, Brown is rich and famous which means he’ll always enjoy the support of millions of defenders, a small percentage of whom are also wealthy and powerful. Shockingly, it seems Kendall and Kylie Jenner are proud members of the latter group. “They aren’t looking to talk or touch on the accusations put on Chris but they have full support for him and feel bad that he is going through all of this because they believe him,” a source close to the sisters tells Hollywood Life. “Until proven differently they are standing by him because that’s what friends do,” the insider continues. The source adds that Kendall and Kylie have also thrown their support behind Drake, who was recently caught fondling a teenage girl in a shocking viral video. “Kendall and Kylie have formed very tight bonds with both Drake and Chris Brown and they fully support them and have their backs through thick and thin,” says the tipster. “They have so much fun with both guys and don’t ever see them as anything but fun, nice guys,” the insider explains. “Kendall and Kylie have also had fun going out with Chris Brown and Drake and even with what’s happening with Chris, that won’t change how they view him. “They know him as a really nice, chill guy and want the best for him.” We hope for the sake of our sanity and the Jenner sisters’ public image that these reports are inaccurate, but sadly, they’re entirely plausible.
