Poor Kris Jenner. The momager that brought her self-absorbed family into our news feeds on an annoyingly daily basis has received much hate over the years. Earlier this year, Kris was booed onstage while introducing Culture Club at a concert in LA. And now, she’s getting shade thrown at her by an unlikely foe: Staples. No, it’s not the quirky moniker of some new indie artist, we’re talking about the office supply store. To promote a new necklace from her jewelry line (yes, she has one – surprise!), Kris tweeted a pic of herself wearing the piece (above). “My new ‘Elegance’ necklace is available now, exclusively online!” she wrote. Staples Canada took note of the uncanny resemblance the “links” on the necklace bear to paper clips and took it as an opportunity for promotion (and snark). “Also available in aisle 7…. #ThinkStaples,” they tweeted along with Kris’s pic. The post has been retweeted more than 45,000 times. The store may be promoting a new DIY jewelry initiative that would cost consumers far less than Kris’s bling. The “Elegance” necklace runs for $175. By comparison, a 1,000-count pack of paper clips will set you back just $5.29. Easy peasy, right? Kris may need to rely on new methods to make money now that Keeping Up With the Kardashians has seen a ratings dip and seems headed for obscurity. The Cleveland Cavaliers shocked the Golden State Warriors on Sunday night, winning the NBA title and ending their home town’s championship drought after 52 years. But whatever. No big deal. The biggest basketball news from this weekend centered around a man who was not even on the court during the Finals: Nick Young is no longer engaged to Iggy Azalea. The shooting guard appeared to confirm this split a few weeks ago when he Tweeted happy birthday wishes to the artist, saying he missed seeing Azalea in a bikini . But Young wasn’t 100% clear at the time of his social media message. Conversely, Azalea left no doubt yesterday with what she wrote on Instagram about the relationship. “Unfortunately although I love Nick and have tried and tried to rebuild my trust in him – it’s become apparent in the last few weeks I am unable to,” the shared with followers: “I genuinely wish Nick the best. “It’s never easy to part ways with the person you planned you’re entire future with, but futures can be rewritten and as of today mine is a blank page.” Azalea and Young got engaged in June of last year. However, a recording of Young bragging to a Lakers teammate over how he cheated on Azaela actually leaked online in late March, casting doubt on whether the couple would get married. But she did apparently try to really forgive her fiance… until that effort simply proved futile. We wish both Azaela and Young the very best in their future relationships. Not if you’re the Kards … and especially not with the drama surrounding Rob. For that, we can all thank the MIA Robert Kardashian Jr. His relationship with Blac Chyna cast a pall over this entire installment, even though – or because of the fact – that he wasn’t present. Kourtney Kardashian told the E! cameras early on Sunday: “I think that Rob has his happy life with Chyna. But I just hope that it gets to a place where he wants to hang out with his family again.” Despite Kris’ invite, Rob decided to opt out of the family ski trip. In part, he bailed because of the possibility that Tyga was going (awkward), but regardless of his true reasons, it hurt his mom’s feelings. “Making [memories] without him breaks my heart,” Kris lamented. “It would’ve been really great for him to connect with [us] again.” As for Scott Disick, Kourtney feared that she’d have to “babysit” his ass if he joined the family, but The Lord promised to behave himself. “I just want her to see that I am fine,” Disick said. It’s not at all how I imagined he would be.” Tyga also rolled through, but the topic on everybody’s mind, even in absentia, was the man, the myth, Kris Jenner’s only son Robert. “It’s just a different dynamic when he isn’t around,” Kim Kardashian lamented to the cameras. “It’s just sad. We want memories with him.” They’ll remember this trip because of him, though. In Vail, the gang learned that Rob got engaged to Blac Chyna at a strip club. “He proposed in front of her whole family,” said Khloe. “That’s so f–ked up. Rob is such a p—y.” Ouch. Well then. Kourtney had a different take, however. “Maybe he thinks that you guys are judgmental because clearly you are,” Kourtney said to her sisters, chastising them for their reaction. To say the least, Kim wasn’t having it. “That’s exactly why he didn’t tell you, because you’re a bitch,” Kourtney told Kim, but her message fell upon deaf ears – then, anyway. Khloe continued ranting about the engagement, admitting how she felt that “someone” was in Rob’s ear, forcing him to act this way. “Instead of sharing this with his family,” she wondered, “is someone in his ear giving him this information that he should stay away from us?” Let the conspiracy theories begin! A wildfire struck the community of Calabasas, California yesterday, and Kylie Jenner was right in the thick of it. In a series of Snapchat posts, the young Jenner appeared to be terrified about the fire. “There's a fire next to my house!” she exclaims in the background of the first snap, depicting a rising cloud of smoke behind her home. Kylie just moved into a new $6 million mansion in the Hidden Hills, adjacent Calabasas and down the street from mom Kris Jenner and sister Kim Kardashian. In a second snap, she asks whether she will have to evacuate her home. The fire, which has torched more than 500 acres so far, has forced the evacuation of about 3,700 homes in the area, according to CNN. Kylie's sister Khloe Kardashian saw the post and replied with a snap of her own, featuring a close-up view of the smoke from her own house. “No, Kylie, you won't have to evacuate, because it's closer to my house than yours, sadly,” said Khloe. “So let's pray nobody has to evacuate.” Kylie continued to share videos of the billowing smoke as she grew increasingly more nervous. “This is our city. We were born and raised in Calabasas,” she told fans. “This can not go down!” The affluent region of Los Angeles county is home to a number of celebrities, including Jessica Simpson, Katie Holmes and Justin Bieber. Yesterday, Ellen DeGeneres Instagrammed a photo of a firefighter, her wife Portia de Rossi's brother, thanking the team for their work. “Sending thanks to Portia's brother, Michael and all the firefighters & rescue workers on the scene of this dangerous fire in Calabasas,” she wrote.
