Mike Sorrentino: Prison Release Date FINALLY Revealed!

As you’ve likely heard by now, Mike Sorrentino began his prison sentence earlier this week. Back in January of 2018,  Sorrentino pled guilty to charges that he had failed to pay taxes on more than $9 million in earnings.  Sorrentino was sentenced to eight months behind bars, and today, Radar Online has confirmed that his release date is scheduled for September 13 of this year. Of course, prison release dates are rarely set in stone, particularly when the inmate in question is a celebrity who seems to have truly dedicated himself to rehabilitation and self-improvement in the months prior to his sentence. Federal prison consultant Dan Wise confirms that The Sitch will likely be sprung well ahead of schedule. But that doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll be permitted to head straight home: “On such a short sentence of 8 months they will send him to a halfway house for two to three months at the end,” Wise claims . “Because of who he is, he may even get home confinement.” Yes, Mike is likely to serve a shorter sentence largely because he’s famous. That’s not to say that he’s receiving preferential treatment because of his celebrity status (although that could certainly be the case). The reasons why a parole board might prefer to grant Sorrentino an early release have more to do with the fact that celebrities are thought to be risky distractions by prison officials. If anything should happen to Mike, a lot of people who prefer to keep low profiles would suddenly find themselves making national headlines. Add that to the fact that Sorrentino’s sobriety and philanthropic work has been well-documented by MTV camera crews, and it’s not hard to see why Mike might be a prime candidate for early release. All he has to do now is keep is nose clean and serve his time quietly. According to Sorrentino’s wife, Lauren Pesce, that’s exactly what he’s been doing. Pesce tweeted an update to fans from Mike’s account earlier this week: “Mike would like to thank all of his fans worldwide for the unbelievable outpouring of love & support,” she wrote. “We speak everyday & he’s doing great. He’s received thousands of letters, he won’t be able to respond to everyone but wanted to express his gratitude to each and every one of you,” Lauren added. “Thank you from the both of us; it is truly heartwarming to have this support during this time.” Here’s hoping Mike’s time on the inside is as brief and uneventful as possible. Olga and Steven Frend to 90 Day Fiance Fans: Pay Our Rent!

After 90 Day Fiance fans saved Danielle Mullins’ house , other cast members of the reality show that even controversial stars can get a little help. Now, Steven Frend and Olga Kolshimbetova are hoping that fans are in the giving spirit. They need help supporting themselves and baby Alex, and they’re asking for $15,000. “Drastic times call for drastic measures,” Steven Frend begins as he shares his GoFundMe page. “Trying my hardest to get my life on the right track,” he says. “And I feel as if I’m doing a great job.” Look, we know that Steven is controversial with good reason with viewers, but it’s worth it to read his whole post. “But we face certain hardships;” Steven admits. “Olga will be unable to work for an extensive period of time.” That leaves him as the breadwinner, but as he explains, he can only win so much bread at the moment. “As for myself,” Steven says. “I just landed a job opportunity as a Fire Sprinkler Installer (Apprenticeship Program) the training is 4 years long.” “Starting out at $16 an hour isn’t the best,” he admits. “But in the long run it’ll do us okay.” Some people would (not literally) kill for $16 an hour, but cost of living is no joke, especially when you’re supporting a family. “I’ll get a raise every 6 months depending or how hard I work at this job,” Steven shares. “(Monday – Friday 7am – 5pm).” “Currently i have registered for college,” he adds. “And will fit my classes in with my work schedule, as this field will not be my career.” He may find that he doesn’t get the raises he’s hoping for from any bosses who read that declaration. Maybe not. “But,” Steven says. “School takes 8 years in the field I want.” “After apprenticeship,” he shares. “I’ll be making $30-$35 an hour and that’s good for the age of 24.” “But $16 an hour isn’t enough to support a family of 3 as well as taking care of home bills, gas, etc,” he laments. We all have bills to pay, but those bills get higher depending upon where you live. “I’m very nervous on how things will play out,” Steven says. “But I have faith god will take matters into his own hands.” Some might accuse him of including that line to goad especially devout fans into donating, but it’s a very reasonable expression of faith. “I’m not asking for a lot,” Steven points out. Some may be taken aback, but considering that We The People WIll Fund The Wall has raised over $16 million on that same sight in a week, he’s right. Of course, he’s unlikely to attract the attention of the same number of rich racists.  “In a matter of fact,” Steven admits. “I feel ashamed having to make this campaign.” “But,” he continues. “I must do what is best to support my family.” Sometimes, doing the right thing for your child means swallowing your pride and humbling yourself before the masses. “Thank you for your consideration,” Steven says. “And have a happy holiday.” Steven and Olga have two updates on their GoFundMe. First, Steven informs doubters that yes, money really is tight. “I live in Montgomery county, Maryland,” Steven says, adding that it’s the “most expensive county in Maryland.” Then he breaks down their expenses. “Bills – Rent (Average rent a month on this county $2,000 a month, Utilities, Car insurance, Gas, Food, Diapers and clothes for our son,” he begins. “Student LOANS since people think I have an advantage to college. It’s community college and hopefully I’ll be able to transfer,” he says. “I can work my ass off my wife and I do,” Steven affirms. “But I want time with my wife and son.” “No matter how much money you make in life, you’ll regret all the time you didn’t spend with you family because you were to busy focusing on paper,” he notes. Steven reminds fans: “I’m trying my best but I still need to be there for my family.” This was their progress as of Monday morning, December 24. “The page is doing better we hoped,” Steven shares in a second update. “We made a mutual agreement and to ensure you guys are donating for a good cause,” he says. “We are going to open a second account in my bank and put all of this money in the bank for Alex and everything he needs,” he reveals. “We will not be spending this on our personal selfs!” he announces. “We appreciate every single one of you who are helping give our family a small head start!” “If you would like a personalized video from us both or only one of us just make an attempt to contact us,” he adds. Cameos are really popular with 90 Day Fiance stars this season. Clearly Danielle isn’t the only star they’re hoping to emulate. “Thank you all,” he says. “And have a lovely Christmas and New Years from the Frend family” Olga has used sweet posts on Instagram, like this photo, to soften her husband’s image to 90 Day Fiance viewers. Steven and Olga haven’t had the best experience as reality stars. While it seems likely that Colt and Larissa will take the crown as this season’s most horrible couple, viewers really, really don’t like Steven. The way that he speaks to Olga, regardless of editing, is unacceptable under any circumstances. While he has been upfront about admitting that he grew up in a toxic household, he has a lot to unlearn. 21 is a very young age at which to become a father, especially if one does not intend to repeat one’s family’s mistakes. Still, if fans want to help Olga, then they may want to donate to this fund. 90 Day Fiance stars are just not paid enough. View Slideshow: 90 Day Fiance Stars: How Much Are They Paid?

Mike Sorrentino Celebrates 3 Years of Sobriety Prior to Prison Sentence

When Jersey Shore fans first met Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, he was a cocaine-fueled party monster who lived to create drama. These days, Mike has done a complete 180 and turned his life around in truly admirable fashion. Unfortunately, in the eyes of the criminal justice system, The Sitch still has much to atone for. Back in Sorrentino pled guilty to tax fraud . Federal investigators allege that the 36-year-old had failed to pay taxes on more than $9 million in earnings. In October,  Sorrentino was sentenced to 8 months in prison. He’ll be able to spend the holidays with his family but must turn himself in to authorities on January 15. That’s the bad news. The good news is that Mike recently celebrated a major victory in his battle against substance abuse. Mike posted the above photo to Instagram this week, allowing with the following caption: “Big daddy Sitch celebrating 3 years of sobriety & teaming up with @discoveryinstitute_nj to bring a holiday meal to Phoenix Recovery House in Eatontown NJ for Christmas,” Sorrentino wrote. Yes, in case you had any doubt that The Sitch is a changed man, he decided to celebrate his sobriety to giving back to others. In his latest Instagram story, Mike wrote, “2019 will be your year of advancement … God is taking you to another level.” Despite the hardships ahead, it seems Mike is genuinely optimistic about his future — and with good reason. Last month,  Sorrentino married Lauren Pesce , the college sweetheart, whom he’s been dating on and off for more than 15 years. “He just wants to get his time done, come home and start his life over. The wedding has been a great distraction for him,” a source told Us Weekly just prior to the wedding. “He and Lauren are just focusing on getting ready for their wedding,” the insider adds. “Once it’s done, he really wants to spend as much time as he can with her before he leaves. “He’s looking forward to working up until he goes away.” We hope he’s been able to do exactly that in the weeks to come. We wish Mike all the best in his continued recovery. View Slideshow: Mike Sorrentino Posts Honeymoon Pics Ahead of Prison Sentence

Marriage Boot Camp Recap: Web of Lies

Friday’s Marriage Boot Camp Season 3 Episode 11, entitled “Web of Lies,” found a polygraph test playing a major role – and causing major tension. Who was involved and what did we find out!? Watch Marriage Boot Camp Season 3 Episode 11 Online Picking up where last week left off, Marriage Boot Camp Season 3 Episode 11 saw the couples – and their futures – coming down to the wire. For The Situation and Lauren Pesce, the lie detector test shed some interesting, and we must say, unexpected light on their relationship. Sitch, the former Jersey Shore man whore, was asked if he trusted his girlfriend “100 percent.” He said, “yes,” but the test said otherwise. Worse yet, Lauren was asked if she’d had physical, sexual contact with someone other than the reality star since they’d been together. Polygraph says? Deceptive answer! “I felt like I was getting punched in the face,” Lauren said, refuting the results. “I’ve been 100 percent truthful and honest about everything.” Mike read the results a bit differently. “If mine said I had problems with trust and hers said that she was deceptive then I guess it’s valid,” he said, as intelligently as he could. Mike’s addiction issues, legal woes and attention seeking ways have been the focal point of these two since they arrived in the house. In that context, it was interesting to see the script flipped and Lauren taking some heat as well. Will these two make it? Will the others? Follow the above links to watch Marriage Boot Camp online and see for yourself, but we will give away one spoiler right here and now: Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett have already parlayed their drama into another season of reality TV ( Kendra on Top Season 4).
