George Zimmerman: I’ll Kill Jay-Z and Feed Him to an Alligator!

As you may have heard, Jay-Z has been working on a documentary about Trayvon Martin, a teen whose life was cut tragically short. Interviews are a normal part of any documentary, but George Zimmerman’s response to producers interviewing people in his life has been … to threaten to kill Jay-Z and feed him to an alligator . We suppose that when you’ve already gotten away with murder, merely threatening to kill people must seem like no big deal. You know, when George Zimmerman got off for killing Trayvon Martin, he felt invincible. The fact that he’s still free after threatening to kill a man in a road rage incident and throwing a bottle at his girlfriend has only, in his eyes, confirmed that. George Zimmerman spoke to The Blast , and he sounded irate that docuseries executive producer Michael Gasparro showed up at the homes of his parents and uncle. Zimmerman, being the kind of guy who would stalk and murder a teenager who was just walking home with some skittles, is responding with open hostility. And with threats. Among his threats is one to “beat Jay-Z.” Jay-Z has actually been shot before, and also almost certainly has more than enough private security to deal with a man whose claim to fame was the murder of an unarmed teenager. But that doesn’t stop Zimmerman from doing his best to sound menacing. “I know how to handle people who f–k with me, I have since February 2012.” If you read that and are thinking that it’s somehow not an explicit threat, well, Zimmerman also got a lot more specific when speaking to The Blast . “Anyone who f–ks with my parents will be fed to an alligator.” A murderer who got off scott free then threatening to feed people to alligators for interviewing his parents isn’t the most Floridian thing that we’ve ever heard, but it does make the top 10 list. George Zimmerman brags about murder a lot. It doesn’t usually go over well, though he’s had a number of appalling racists reach out to support him. These same racists, we imagine, were among the bidders when George Zimmerman auctioned off the murder weapon . But it sounds like Jay-Z’s documentary, “Rest in Power: The Trayvon Martin Story,” is really getting under Zimmerman’s skin. Zimmerman describes the attempted interviews (we don’t know if they took place or not) as “harassment” but fails to describe any way in which harassment might have taken place. And The Blast says that he seemed to be especially upset at the news that his ex-wife had been paid an unspecified amount of money for being interviewed. Having one of the most infamous murderers in recent American history as your ex-husband can’t come with many perks, but getting paid to describe your experiences with him and to reveal what you know about him would, we suppose, be one. Some may respond the idea of Zimmerman’s family (even ex-family) getting paid to speak with hostility. After Trayvon Martin lost his life at age 17, they think, is it right for people associated with his murder to get paid? We would counter with this: this very likely means that Trayvon Martin’s family and friends and loved ones, who still mourn him and are honoring his memory by speaking in this docuseries, are also getting paid. Beyonce and Jay-Z are famously very, very generous with their wealth. And while nothing can ever bring back their son, we think that Trayvon’s loved ones deserve to get paid for speaking the truth. This docuseries could be important, however. There are even die-hard racists in this world who have trouble dehumanizing someone when confronted with that person’s full humanity. More to the point, honoring Trayvon’s memory and mourning his loss could remind others of the potential costs of their actions. How many racists, we wonder, bite their tongues when they realize that if they scream obscenities as a Burger King employee or whatever, their rant might go viral. Some of those people might think twice about stalking an unarmed teen and then murdering him if they consider that they might become one of the most hated people in America. Jenelle Evans: Let the Wedding Countdown Begin!

If you’re a Teen Mom 2 fan who somehow hasn’t heard, Jenelle Evans is engaged to David Eason . She’s been gushing about her lavish wedding plans pretty much non-stop since the day that Eason put a ring on it, so the news has been pretty hard to miss. Jenelle and David are set to get married this weekend, so naturally the Carolina Hurricane has ramped up the wedding talk in recent days. In fact, the soon-to-be Mrs. Eason has launched a full-blown wedding countdown, and she’s inviting fans to share in her excitement. All week, Evans has been taking to Instagram today to remind her followers just how soon she’ll be getting hitched. First, it was t-minus 5 days, and Jenelle marked the occasion with Boomerang clip featuring some heart-shaped lighting. “Love is in the air.  the countdown is on…5 more days ! #EvansToEason can’t wait to show @easondavid88 his wedding gift and thanks @celestecall for making this awesome shoot happen!!!!” Evans captioned the video. Jenelle Evans Wedding Video The clip received a mostly positive response from Jenelle’s followers, but there were a few nay-sayers in the comments section. Some skepticism is natural, considering Jenelle has been engaged five times , and it seems some fans are concerned that she’s falling into a gold-digger trap.  “I hope you open your eyes girl. This marriage won’t last long,” wrote one follower. “He’s using you for your money . He doesn’t work your money will be gone fast. I really hope you had him sign a prenup.” Never one to be deterred by … well, anything, Jenelle kept the countdown going today with another vaguely wedding-y pic. This one shows her putting on some makeup in wedding night attire, alongside a couple random prescription bottles. Like everything she does, Jenelle’s wedding is shrouded in controversy. Not only is there the small matter that–and we can’t repeat this enough–she’s been engaged five freakin’ times at the age of 25, there’s also the sad fact that Jenelle is not inviting her mother to the wedding . “She’s been saying she’s having her wedding, running around with her family of friends, but you know what she says? ‘My mother Barbara is not invited,’” Barbara Evans said in a recent interview. “She’s not inviting me to her own wedding. It’s very painful,” a brokenhearted Babs reiterated. Look on the bright side Babs – if that’s the worst thing Jenelle does this week, it’s been her best week in years! Scott Peterson: Was He Plotting to Murder Amber Frey, Too?!

Despite the grisly details of Laci Peterson’s murder and Scott Peterson’s conviction and death sentence, there are still a few people out there who believe that Scott Peterson is innocent. (The comments that we got the last time that we wrote about this are evidence enough of the enduring controversy) We wonder what his defenders will think of the news that Scott Peterson allegedly planned to murder his mistress , too. … Yikes. So, to those of you who may have forgotten, Amber Frey was Scott Peterson’s mistress. She also testified against him in court. Even if you didn’t pay attention at the time of the trial or you were too young to have really been exposed to the coverage, you probably recognize Amber’s name. (And, not for nothing, but “Amber Frey” is one of the best names that we have ever heard, ever, in our lives. But maybe don’t go naming your kids that) It sounds like Amber might have never gotten the chance to testify if Scott Peterson hadn’t been apprehended while allegedly trying to flee south of the border. Scott Peterson looked completely different when he was captured. Law enforcement believed that he had disguised himself in order to flee to Mexico and avoid his trial. He didn’t make it, and now he sits on death row for the murder of Laci Peterson. Laci Peterson was 8 months pregnant. Their child would have been a son named Connor. His fetus was actually found before Laci’s body; investigators believe that the fetus had slipped out of her body while in the water. Laci’s body was also missing most or all of various limbs, along with her head. After such a massive search, it was a … grim find. Scott was convicted, but it sounds like might have done more than just escape if he hadn’t been caught. According to  RadarOnline , Scott Peterson was in possession of a map to Amber Frey’s home . Why, you might ask, would Scott need a map to the home of his mistress? Some apparently believe that he was planning to murder Amber Frey, too. You might wonder what Scott Peterson’s possible motive might have been. But you should remember that Scott Peterson had apparently claimed, weeks before his wife’s death, that he was a recent widower and that this Christmas would be his first without his wife. An absurd lie to tell, even if, at the time, he wasn’t planning Laci’s murder but simply trying to get a little sympathy. But after his wife’s death, one wonders if Scott ever thought about his past words and how they might be used against him. Unfortunately, we don’t know for certain why Scott Peterson might have had that map. We also don’t know even the exact cause of death behind Laci Peterson’s murder. Scott Peterson, despite everything, has maintained his innocence, even as he sits on death row, waiting for his lethal injection. Understandably, Scott would have little to gain from confessing now. And, as we’ve mentioned, he still has some avid supporters who believe that police jumped to conclusions. Hey, O.J. Simpson still has people who believe that he was framed. That’s just how people are. View Slideshow: 21 Stars Who Very Likely Killed Someone

Chris Soules Criminal Record: An In-Depth Look at His Troubled Past

In the most stunning celebrity news story of the week, Chris Soules has been arrested for leaving the scene of a fatal car crash that left one individual dead. As previously detailed, the Season 19 Bachelor was driving his pickup truck on Sunday night when he rear-ended a tractor on a road near his farm in Iowa. Soules dialed 911 and reported that a man had been thrown out of the tractor and was now lying in a ditch, bleeding from the mouth… … but then he drove away and refused to let police officers into his home until they obtained a search warrant. Several hours after he crashed into 68-year old Kenneth Mosher and killed him, Soules was finally taken into custody and charged with the aforementioned crime. Authorities say cans of beer were found in Soules’ car, although it’s probable that too many hours elapsed between the time of the accident and the time of his blood test for the latter to turn up positive for alcohol. Still, pending an investigation, Soules may also be charged with involuntary manslaughter at some point. For now, he’s free on $10,000 bond. This incident, of course, is as serious as it gets; through his actions, whether by complete accident or whether his judgment was impaired in some way, Chris Soules took a life. However, if you  watch The Bachelor online  and/or have followed Soules’ reality TV career ever since his days as a contestant on Andy Dorfman’s season of The Bachelorette, you’re likely aware that Soules has frequently run afoul of the law. There’s nothing in his past this severe. But there’s enough on record that could impact how this case is handled going forward. Let’s take a look at all Soules has allegedly done, shall we? In 2001, he was charged on two separate occasions for being a minor in possession of alcohol. In January of 2002, he was cited for unlawful use of a license. Later in 2002, he was charged with leaving the scene of an accident after running a stop sign. (NOTE: this incident was eventually amended from leaving the scene due to defective brakes.) In 2005, he was charged with Operating While Intoxicated (Iowa’s term for DUI), after which he was fined $500; given a 60-day jail sentence; a 58-day suspended jail sentence; and a year of probation. Moreover, between the years of 2000 and 2012, Soules received a total of seven speeding violations. On their own, of course, none of these arrests or run-ins with the law are all that serious. But that’s a pretty long list for one individual to have accumulated, let alone one individual whose history of driving, drinking and irresponsibility may have finally caught up with him. In deadly fashion. View Slideshow: 20 Celebrities Who Very Likely Killed Someone E! News spoke to legal expert Troy Slaten to determine what sort of legal ramifications Soules could face in light of his latest charges and his lengthy criminal record. “What it looks like right now, he is facing what is called a Class D felony, which is leaving the scene of an accident causing death,” Slaten says . “Leaving the scene of an accident causing death is, in and of itself, a felony.” What if tests do come back that show Soules was over the legal drinking limit? What if his blood-alcohol content is above .08? “When somebody has a prior conviction for DUI, that can mean a couple of things,” Slaten explains, going into detail as follows: “It can change a case of vehicular homicide or vehicular manslaughter into murder, and here’s why: Normally when we talk about murder, there has to be some sort of malice or evil intent. “Getting in an accident is usually not evil… but when somebody has been convicted of DUI [in the past], they’re under a greater understanding of the dangers of drinking and driving because [they’ve] been through DUI classes and special alcohol education.” Makes sense, right? And it’s hard to argue with the logic behind these guidelines, no? The Iowa State Patrol is looking into whether alcohol played a role in the fatal crash. If so, prosecutors may cite “malice” due to Soules’ perceived knowledge of what happens when you drink and drive. They could say Soules showed an “indifference to human life” by once again getting behind the wheel after imbibing, according to Slaten, would could result in a MURDER charge. Soules was arraigned (see photo above) on Tuesday, which confirms he’s facing criminal charges. He also could face civil liability on behalf on the victim’s family. Mosher was a father of two and is also a grandfather. Sources say these relatives do not blame Soules for what happened, but that opinion could change if they learn alcohol was in his system. For now, Soules has simply issued a very straightforward statement through his spokesman. It reads: Chris Soules was involved in an accident Monday evening (April 24) in a rural part of Iowa near his home. He was devastated to learn that Kenneth Mosher, the other person in the accident, passed away.   His thoughts and prayers and with Mr. Mosher’s family.
