Lori Loughlin: Secretly Returning to Fuller House?!

For several weeks now, Lori Loughlin has been at the center of one of the most high-profile celebrity controversies in recent memory. The college admissions bribery scandal has attracted attention from all corners of the media, and even those who usually keep their distance from the world of celebrity news are following closely for their daily dose of schadenfreude. Loughlin has become the face of the ” Varsity Blues ” investigation (yes, that’s really what the FBI is calling it) for a number of reasons. While fellow actress Felicity Huffmarguablyguable more famous and certainly more highly-regarded by her peers, Loughlin’s (alleged) crimes were far more egregious, as the former Full House  star is accused of shelling out half a million in bribes, compared to Huffman’s $15,000. Furthermore, while Huffman has agreed to play ball with prosecutors, Loughlin rejected a plea deal and is reportedly confident that she can beat the charges against her. The prosecution responded by leveling even more charges against Loughlin, who is now facing decades behind bars if she’s convicted. For obvious reasons, all of this has made Loughlin a toxic presence in Hollywood, and at the outset, many expected she would never work again. So you can imagine our suprise when Radar Online reported that Loughlin will be returning to Fuller House for the show’s final season. “Publicly, the producers have said nothing about Lori and her situation over the bribery scandal,” a source tells the site. “They didn’t say she would never return to the show.” And why would producers take a risk on such a scandalous — and widely despised — figure? Well according to the insider, it’s all because Loughlin is so well-liked by her co-stars. “Lori is beloved by the entire cast and crew of Fuller House, as well as the producers and the executives at Netflix,” says the informant. “John Stamos and other cast members have gone to bat for Lori, and really like this idea.” And apparently, producers feel they have little to lose as Fuller House enters its final season. Still, they’re conscious of the bad press that might accompany Loughlin’s return to set, and they’re taking the appropriate precautions. The insider says Lori “would secretly film her scenes with other cast members but not in front of a studio audience.” The source adds: “Filming would not happen until later this summer, and producers hope all the controversy surrounding Loughlin will have died down by the time the episodes air later this year and they will have a ratings bonanza with Aunt Becky back on the show,” Yeah, we wouldn’t put too many eggs in she “scandal dying down” or “ratings bonanza” baskets. Hell, by that point, Loughlin may have gone from Full House to the big house.

Olivia Jade Giannulli: Lori Loughlin’s Daughter Under Federal Investigation?!

For a handful C-list stars and their offspring, the college admissions bribery scandal is a nightmare from which they just can’t awaken. As you’ve likely heard by now, Lori Loughlin and Felicity Huffman were among those ensnared by the FBI investigation dubbed Operation Varsity Blues. Since then, the actresses’ fates have diverged in a number of interesting ways. Huffman expressed what seemed like genuine remorse and accepted a plea deal. Loughlin — who stands accused of much more egregious crimes — opted not to accept a plea and will instead do battle with prosecutors in a proper trial. As a result, legal experts predict that Loughlin will almost certainly go to prison . And yet, insiders say the actress best known for portraying Aunt Becky on Full House is unfazed and remains convinced that she’ll beat the case. Here’s hoping Loughlin’s daughter, Olivia Jade Giannulli, inherited her mother’s unflappable nature because there’s reason to believe the influencer and aspiring cosmetics mogul is being investigated by the FBI. Loughlin allegedly doled out bribes and conned admissions boards on behalf of both of her daughter so that they would be accepted to USC as members of the school’s crew team. (Even though neither of them had ever rowed crew.) The Daily Mail is now reporting that one of Loughlin’s daughters is under federal investigation. Insiders claim the investigation was confirmed by letter the FBI sent to the admissions board at USC informing them that one of their students may soon face criminal charges. It’s currently unclear which daughter is being investigated, but many have assumed it’s Olivia who might soon be in trouble, as she’s been one of this scandal’s most outspoken and high-profile figures from the beginning. “It is a not-so-veiled threat,” said one source who claims to have seen the letter. “[The US Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts] is making it pretty clear that they have evidence that very strongly suggests she knew of the illegal plot.” Amazingly, the fact that her daughter might soon be brought up on charges was not enough to get Loughlin to accept a plea deal. Olivia has already dropped out of USC , allegedly for fear of being bullied as a result of the scandal. She has also lost endorsement deals with Sephora and several other cosmetics and beauty companies. Now, it looks as though her situation is soon to go from bad to worse.

Lori Loughlin Pleads Not Guilty, Thinks She Can Actually Beat College Bribery Charge

Lori Loughlin is ready to fight, people. The polarizing actress is apparently willing to risk her freedom and whatever is left of her reputation by denying she did anything illegal when helping her kids apply for college. That’s right: Loughlin just pleaded not guilty in the admissions bribery scandal that has captivated a nation. Lori and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, entered not guilty pleas to all charges in court this morning: conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud and honest services mail and wire fraud, along with conspiracy to commit money laundering. They entered said pleas via documents submitted by their lawyers. The charges, as you must know by now, stem from the allegation that Loughlin and Giannulli engineered their two daughters’ way into college through very unethical and illegal means. They were indicted in mid-March for supposedly paying a middle man $500,000 . This middle man then bribed an official at the University of Southern California to pretend that Loughlin’s kids were athletic recruits, thereby lowering their admission standards and allowing them to be accepted into the semi-prestigious school. Over the past several days, numerous outlets have reported that Loughlin didn’t take the federal charges seriously at first. Hence why she chose NOT to sign a plea deal similar to the one signed by Felicity Huffman. Huffman, the other famous name associated with this scandal, did plead guilty last week, did issue an apology and did take responsibility for her actions. As a result, she likely will not end up in prison for more than a few months… if she gets sentenced to jail at all. But Loughlin has thus far bristled at any notion of any sort of deal. Previously, the U.S. Attorney out of Boston gave all of the parents charged in this scheme an ultimatum: Either accept a plea or the case would go to the Grand Jury and additional charges would be filed — and this is exactly what happened to Loughlin and her husband. They now could be sentenced to 40 years behind bars . Does this seem likely? No. But if there really are recordings of Loughlin arranging to make her bribe, and if she is eventually found guilty, it seems very easy to believe that she’ll face real prison time in the end. How great would that be?!? “At this point, [Loughlin] is getting complete clarity and she’s scared and in terrible shape,” a source recently told Entertainment Tonight, adding: “She has been in complete denial and thought maybe she could skate by. She refused to accept any jail time and thought the DA was bluffing. She was adamant she wouldn’t do any jail time.” Conversely, after Huffman agreed to plead guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services mail fraud, she said the following: “I am in full acceptance of my guilt, and with deep regret and shame over what I have done, I accept full responsibility for my actions and will accept the consequences that stem from those actions.” Loughlin is playing a very different legal game here. And a very dangeorus one as well.

Taylor Selfridge: Booked for Teen Mom OG!

Teen Mom OG may have found a replacement for Bristol Palin. And we’re guessing this newbie brings far more fireworks to the program than her mostly mundane and boring predecessor. Are you ready to welcome Taylor Selfridge to the fold, MTV viewers?!? The relatively unknown Instagram model has confirmed that she’ll appear on multiple episodes of Teen Mom OG next season, as the series chronicles her relationship with Cory Wharton. The pair met during the first season of Ex on the Beach and dated briefly after the show wrapped, prior to breaking up and then getting back together in February of this year. Taylor and Cory went public with their new romance by sharing multiple “baecation” photos of each other in Mexico about two months ago. “Things with Cory are going really great right now,” Selfridge told Us Weekly on Tuesday, adding: “I don’t know what the future holds for us as far as taking our relationship further, but we are in a good place and we’re very happy.” She added in this interview that she’ll be at least a part-time cast member on Teen Mom OG next season. Following the announcement that he was knocking boots once again with Selfridge, Wharton – who debuted on Teen Mom OG last year as the baby daddy of star Cheyenne Floyd – responded to a bunch of criticism from Internet trolls as follows: “Cheyenne’s a great person, a fabulous mother, and I’ll always have some love for Cheyenne but I’m not IN love with Cheyenne… “I have to do what I have to do and Taylor is the person who makes me happy. I’m sorry to disappoint some of y’all…if Y’all really want to see me happy, you’ll support me no matter what.” Selfridge has mostly made reality TV fans angry over the years, however, due to actions such as spitting on one of Cory’s exes, Alicia Lavida, during an episode of Ex On The Beach. She is fiery and confrontational and seems destined to stir $hit up far more than Palin, who dropped out of the show last week and who was stuck in a storyline all season long with her now-ex-husband. She didn’t feud with any co-stars at all, really. Will Selfridge bring a different type of personality? It sure seems that way. But Selfridge claims there’s no bad blood at all between her and Floyd, despite Cheyenne hinting strongly at times last season that she wanted to be fully together with Wharton. “We both understand that there has to be mutual respect for each other and her and I are cordial,” Taylor told told Us Weekly of Cheyenne, who did have a brief fling with Cory after Taylor and Cory split the first time. Selfridge also noted that she and Floyd have a solid relationship. “I met Cheyenne over a year ago so it wasn’t new to me to see hr. Of course it’s somewhat awkward but her and I have talked, and there’s no drama between us.” Why do we feel like that may change once cameras start rolling? Wharton and Floyd are the parents of a two-year old named Ryder. And Selfridge was actually on hand for the recent birthday party, saying that Floyd’s family made her feel “very comfortable” the whole time. As for backlash against their relationship on social media? Selfridge says she’s only focusing on the positive.  “I know people want there to be drama in the situation we’re in, but there’s just not any and no one wants there to be problems. I’m just enjoying my relationship I’m blessed to have with Cory and Ryder.” View Slideshow: Cheyenne Floyd: I Don’t Care Who Cory Wharton is Dating, Because …

Lori Loughlin is Finally Realizing She May Be Screwed

According to multiple new reports, Lori Loughlin has been playing a figurative game of poker with the district attorney’s office over the past few weeks. And while the actress thought prosecutors were only holding a pair of 2s, it turned out that they’ve basically been holding… yes, you guessed it: A full house. Tremndous puns and segues aside, Loughlin appears to now be in dire trouble with the law because she previously didn’t believe she was in any real trouble at all. Yes, the veteran star was indicted back on March 12 along with dozens of other defendents, accused at the time of bribing officials at the University of Southern California with $500,000 in order to get her two daughters into this university. The scheme involved dressing up her two kids in fake high school crew team uniforms in order to pretend they were athletic recruits and, thereby, get their admission standards lowered. The scam worked; the teenagers were accepted into USC; and then it all came crashing down a month ago. Despite the seriousness of the charges against her, however, Loughlin allegedly didn’t think she’d ever see any jail time. Which makes sense, right? She’s rich and privileged and these traits are how she ended up in this mess to begin with. Due to her ignorant and entitled attitude, Loughlin did NOT align herself with fellow actress Felicity Huffman. She did not plead guilty a couple days ago and accept a plea bargain that will most likely lead to a sentencing of a few months in prison… at most. About 24 hours later, Loughlin and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, were charged in a second superseding indictment on conspiring to commit fraud and money laundering. As such, the couple now faces a maximum sentence of 40 years in prison, two decades a piece for each charge. Sh-t is very much getting real now for Loughlin — and it’s finally sinking in, insiders confirm. “Lori still believed in the end she would just get a slap on the wrist,” a source tells Entertainment Tonight. “At this point she is getting complete clarity and she’s scared and in terrible shape.” Another informant echoes this sentiment, explaining to E! News of Loughlin: “She has been in complete denial and thought maybe she could skate by. She refused to accept any jail time and thought the DA was bluffing. She was adamant she wouldn’t do any jail time.” Loughlin and her oldest daughter, Olivia Jade, are pictured here: “The reality of this situation has finally hit her like a ton of bricks,” the ET source adds. “It wasn’t until she was faced with [the] additional [charge] that she saw the true ramifications.” It’s been rumored from the start that prosecutors were intent on making an example out of Loughlin and her co-defendents. But while this message was apparently made clear to Huffman and the others who agreed to a plea deal this week, Loughlin’s ears were deaf to the situation. Huffman apologized profusely for her role in this nationwide scandal, releasing the following statement: Can we ever expect the same from Loughlin? It appears far too late at this point. “Lori is finally realizing just how serious this is,” says the ET mole, noting the former child model is beating herself up for not accepting the initial deal and concluding: “She is seeing the light that she will do jail time and is freaking out.”

Britney Spears Checks Into Mental Health Facility Amid Father’s Health Crisis

According to TMZ, Britney Spears has checked into a mental health facility , where she will remain for the next several weeks. Insiders say Spears checked herself into the treatment center last week after becoming increasingly distraught by her father’s ongoing health issues. Spears opened up about her father’s troubles  — which include a ruptured colon that’s required multiple surgeries — in a heartfelt Instagram post back in January. At the time, Britney stated that she would be forced to cancel the next installment of her Vegas residency in order to focus on her father’s health needs: “A couple of months ago, my father was hospitalized and almost died,” the singer wrote alongside the photo below. “We’re all so grateful that he came out of it alive, but he still has a long road ahead of him,” she added. “I had to make the difficult decision to put my full focus and energy on my family at this time. I hope you all can understand. “I appreciate your prayers and support for my family during this time. Thank you, and love you all… always,” Britney concluded. Sources tell TMZ that Spears checked into the facility last week for a 30-day course of treatment. It’s possible she’ll remain at the facility longer if she and her doctors consider it necessary. Despite some occasional turbulence, Britney and her dad, Jamie Spears, have enjoyed a close relationship for most of her life. Jamie was famously placed in charge of Britney’s conservatorship after her infamous 2007 breakdown. Insiders say he still holds a tremendous amount of influence over his daughter’s life and career. Spears has not gone public with her decision to seek treatment, but on Wednesday afternoon, she posted a meme about the importance of self-care on her Instagram page. Britney captioned the image below, “We all need to take time for a little ‘me time.'” A source close to the singer spoke with People magazine about Spears’ decision to undergo treatment. “Britney just needed to focus on herself,” the insider says. It seems those closest to Britney want fans to know that she has not suffered another breakdown, and her decision to seek help was reached calmly and rationally: “Her dad being sick has taken a toll on her,” the source continues. “He nearly died and actually had another surgery a few weeks ago. He’s not doing well. “They’re so close and it has been a lot. There is nothing dramatic going on with her — she just realized she needs to make sure to take time to care for herself.” We wish Britney and her family all the best during this difficult time. We’ll have further updates on this on this developing story as more information becomes available. View Slideshow: 13 Craziest Things Britney Spears Has Ever Done

Lori Loughlin Faces Judge… and May Face 20 Years in Jail

Lori Loughlin is best known for her role as Aunt Becky on Full House. But it now seems clearer than ever that she may end in in the proverbial big house. The actress, along with fellow star Felicity Huffman, appeared in front of a federal judge in Boston on Wednesday, April 3, regarding the pair’s alleged roles in the nationwide college admissions scandal that continues to rock the country. It’s been widely expected ever since Loughlin and Huffman were indicted by the FBI that the women would come to some sort of plea bargain with authorities. But even if this ends up being the case, TMZ talked to legal insiders who believe prosecutors will still push for jail time. “You can’t have people being treated differently because they have money. That’s how we got to this place. Every defendant will be treated the same,” says a TMZ source about Loughlin and Huffman. The judge today told all defendants – including Loughlin’s husband, Mossimo Giannulli – that they face a maximum sentence of 20 years in federal prison, three years probation and a $250,000 fine.  A day earlier, all 13 defendants were subsequently charged with conspiracy to commit mail fraud and honest services fraud. Loughlin and Giannulli were taken into custody last month after they were accused of paying bribes to ensure that their two daughters were accepted into the University of Southern California. Their scheme worked and the teenagers did earn admission… … but they are reportedly now leaving the school in the wake of this controversy. Both actresses cited here were recorded on wiretapped calls discussing the scandal with ringleader William Rick Singer. Huffman and her famous husband, William H. Macy, allegedly paid $15,000 to Singer in order to participate in a college entrance exam cheating scheme on behalf of their oldest daughter, Sofia Grace. In this instance, she was given twice the amount of time to take the SAT as other students. The FBI believes the proctor corrected her answers. As a result, Sofia  scored 1420 on her SAT, an improvement of approximately 400 points over her PSAT. All through some convoluted and really awful cheating. Loughlin, meanwhile, has come under even more scorn and derision from the public. According to court documents, she and Giannulli allegedly paid $500,000 “in exchange for having their two daughters designated as recruits to the USC crew team — despite the fact that they did not participate in crew — thereby facilitating their admission to USC.” They actually posed their kids in fake crew team uniforms and pretended the girls were members of a high school squad in order to get them on a special admissions list with lower standards. It’s widely assumed that Olivia Jade, a social media star in her own right, was well aware of the scandal at the time. She has reportedly cut ties with her parents following their arrest . In total, 47 people were charged by the feds in what they amazingly dubbed Operation Varsity Blues. According to these same legal documents, the actresses and others allegedly paid as much as $6.5 million to get their kids into various schools; including Yale, Stanford, Georgetown and USC. In all, the feds uncovered about $25 million in bribes. That’s insane! Also insane? Some fans were lining up to get autographs from Loughlin outside the courthouse today. Come on, people.

Kailyn Lowry Poses Nude For Birthday, Gets Body-Shamed By Haters

Kailyn Lowry turned 27 this week. And obviously, with all she's accomplished in her career and on the family front, it's hard to believe that Kail is still several years shy of the big 3-0. In addition to her role on Teen Mom 2 , Kail has launched a successful podcast, released a popular hair care line, and written multiple bestsellers. And she did it all while raising three children. It makes sense that someone who has accomplished that much and built a massive audience while somehow maintaining an impressive figure might be eager to show that figure off to said evidence. Kail did exactly that with a racy photo shoot on Thursday, but because this is the internet in 2019, the haters just had to hate. Take a look: 1. Kail on Her Birthday Kail posed for some unexpectedly racy pics for her birthday. Most fans were blown away by the results. 2. Kailyn Lowry: Fully Nude Kail gave the phrase “birthday suit” new meaning when she completely stripped down for her big day. 3. Topless on Twitter Needless to say, Kail is looking great in all of the pics. She captioned the photo set simply, “27 & feelin’ myself.” 4. Attack of the Trolls Unfortunately, it wasn’t long before the trolls came out of the woodwork to offer a dissenting opinion. 5. Two-Pronged Approach The responses to Kail’s initial tweet featured an unusual combination of mom-shaming and body-shaming. 6. Matt Brown: Worried Family Isn’t Sure If He’s Sober or Not

Last year, Alaskan Bush People star returned to rehab after his family gave him an ultimatum. He completed his stint and, with a stumble along the way, has been dedicated to staying sober and reconnecting with his family . Now, however, Matt has his family worried that he’s on the verge of relapse — if he hasn’t already fallen off of the wagon. RadarOnline reports that the Brown family is nervous that Matt is about to slide back into old, destructive habits. “Matt is causing reason for worry again,” the insider sadly reveals. According to the source, Matt has them on edge “because he just got heavily paid!” Now that Season 9 is airing and Matt cleaned up his act, he’s been paid for letting Discovery film him on his sobriety journey. That paycheck? $250,000. “He finally got the money that was being withheld from him,” the insider reveals. This wasn’t TV business shenanigans — this was family business about his sobriety. The source shares that Matt’s pay was being blocked “by his parents.” They weren’t stealing from him, the insider clarifies, mearely holding onto it “while he got his act together.” Most people’s families wouldn’t be particularly worried if their child just received a quarter of a million dollars through safe, legal work. But addiction is a peculiar beast. “It’s really a double-edged sword,” the source explains of Matt receiving a hefty payday. “Because whenever Matt gets paid,” the insider observes. “He goes missing.” He doesn’t get kidnapped — he just spends some time (and money) away from his family. But the Browns know that he has personal troubles “and everyone just assumes he is using again.” We all feel the urge to celebrate if we secure a hefty payday. Unfortunately, for Matt, celebrations are a potential threat to his health. Apparently, the aura of mystery that currently follows Matt has his family very nervous. “It is at the point where no one really knows if he wants to be sober or not,” the source admits. The report stresses that this isn’t concern over the family’s public image or over their show’s reputation. According to the insider: “it is really just more about wanting Matt to be okay.” Of course. His health is their first priority. It turns out that they’re a little worried that it could take a while before they know if he needs help again. “The problem is,” the source laments. “That Matt will really tell you whatever it is you want to hear.” It’s not that he’s a compulsive liar or some sort of bobblehead (blissfully agreeing with the last person to whom he spoke). This is about the nature of addiction and what it does to a person’s ability to admit when they are spiraling. The insider concludes: “He is not known for being honest about his sobriety.” No addict is. Matt’s last big fall off of the wagon was a simple coping mechanism: at the time, his mother was dying of cancer. Ami Brown beat the odds and lived to see two of her children get married and to welcome her grandbaby, Elijah Connor. But let’s not write off Matt just yet. It sounds like, at the moment, Matt is just spending time on his own without his family. He’s been seeing a therapist, he has a sober coach, and he’s been going to meetings. Matt wants to keep on the straight and narrow as much as his family does, we’re sure. View Slideshow: Alaskan Bush People: 13 Secrets They Don’t Want You to Know
