Solange Knowles Fight Purse Featured In Hilarious New Ad!

While the Jay Z-Solange Knowles fight may not have been funny for the parties involved, the rest of us are finding plenty of comedy in the drama. The Internet has already blessed us with a slew of hilarious Solange-themed memes , and now some ingenious Madison Avenue Don Draper-types are getting in on the act. That’s an ad for the Anya Hindmarch clutch bag Solange brought to the 2014 MET Gala…and later used as a weapon with which to bludgeon her brother-in-law. Certainly seems the brand has found a silver lining in Solange’s dark cloud of rage! The ad is funny stuff, to be sure, but we’re guessing Solange is less than amused: Solange Knowles Tantrum Check out the video above for a little insight into how the younger Knowles feels about her far more successful older sis and her husband. Yes, just mentioning Jay Z’s name to Solange is enough to earn you a dose of her now-infamous temper. We’re guessing that news anchor has never seen Solange throw a punch, or he might not be so quick to make fun. Thus far, all the press surrounding Solange has been pretty negative, but if she’s smart she’ll use her time in the headlines to rehab her image and make the public understand the difficulties that come with being overshadowed by a more famous sibling. Seems more likely, though, that she’ll just continue to burn bridges until she flames out and disappears from the entertainment world entirely. At least the downfall has been fun to watch thus far! #WhatJayZSaidtoSolange: The Best Memes 1. A Chris Brown Hook Up

And then we partied the night away.” The bride wore a strapless, custom Amsale gown featuring elaborate beadwork. “Amsale herself was with me as I tried on different dresses at her Madison Avenue showroom in New York,” Sesay says. “She was wonderful. Lady Gaga’s Barneys Workshop Is ‘Essence Of Her’

Little Monsters gush to MTV News about Gaga’s holiday-themed workshop and windows at famed Madison Avenue store. By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Brian Phares Lady Gaga at her workshop at Barney’s in New York Photo: Emmanuel Dunand/ Getty Images Lady Gaga is taking fans inside her world at the holiday-themed Gaga’s Workshop at Barneys New York. Mother Monster-inspired products like head-shaped candles, leather jackets, her favorite books and chocolates shaped like shoes hit the shelves last week, and it’s exactly the kind of stuff a Little Monster would ask Santa for. MTV News caught up with some of the pop star’s devotees as they were admired the Gaga windows outside the famed New York City department store. They gushed to us about the chance to pick out items hand-selected by Gaga and her stylist Nicola Formichetti. “I think Gaga’s Workshop, it’s the essence of her,” Hollis Gehrett said. “You walk in and you feel like you’re in her apartment. I came to see her cut the ribbon , which was really cool, and she looked fabulous.” Fan Catherine Lloyd was also on hand when Gaga, decked out in a big white gown, cut the ribbon two Mondays ago at Barneys. “It’s in her hometown. It’s decorated to the nines, it’s completely beautiful,” she said. “The unveiling was beautiful — when she came out she looked like Glenda the Good Witch. There was just a lot of celebrities and fashion people walking around, so it was just a fun event in general.” Laura Donnelly said “the first thing I thought was ‘fun,’ like the colors and all the statues. I just thought it was a lot of fun.” “Kids can come and enjoy it. Adults can come and enjoy it [and] teenagers,” Kyle Larkins noted about the in-store pop-up shop. “It really appeals to everyone.” Erin Sebestyen enjoyed how the workshop and windows show off Gaga’s whimsical side: “It shows her holiday spirit, and how many celebrities really do that?” After Gaga opened the store with a ribbon-cutting, her friend and collaborator DJ White Shadow, stopped by the MTV News offices to talk about the event and share his favorite item. “I just was perusing the goods … and there were some books that were her favorite books, and they have a special Barneys cover. I was trying to grab small things,” he recalled. “But there’s these hulking giant candles [in the shape of Gaga’s head] that you light from the top. It’s like you light the candles in the back and then the wax drips down through the eyes of the candle. So I was pretty impressed with it. I definitely procured one.” Have you checked out Gaga’s Workshop yet? Tell us in the comments! Related Videos MTV First: Lady Gaga Related Artists Lady Gaga

Non-nude Mad Men Pays the Price for Its Skinginess

This year, after three straight years of being handed Golden Globes in hopes that January Jones and Christina Hendricks would finally get the message and do a lesbian scene, or at least prove that Christina’s luscious melons aren’t themselves the products of Madison Avenue ad wizards, the run is over for AMC’s Mad Men . Show business people will tell you that being denied a Golden Globe is a humiliation second only to having your movie premiere switched from New York and Los Angeles to Sofia, Bulgaria, where it was filmed. But that’s what happened to Mad Men this year when the show’s obstinate refusal to even let a nip slip or flash some ass and roll the dice on an FCC fine finally caught up to it. John Hamm and his buddies went home defeated and empty-handed when nude kid on the block Boardwalk Empire took the Best TV Show award like candy from a baby, proving that the best way to spice up a period drama is nudity. Period. If AMC can’t figure out why HBO ruled and they drooled at the Golden Globes last night, then here it is. HBO gave us what they couldn’t with Boardwalk Empire : nonstop nudity, lesbian sex scenes, and a fully frontal (and frontally full-furred) Paz de la Huerta . Wrap it up, we’ll take it.
