Mere days after the marriage of Pippa Middleton to James Matthews, members of the Royal Family have been forced to go from celebratory to melancholy. On Monday night, a suicide bomber detonated an explosive inside Manchester Arena that took the lives of 22 people. Among the victims was this eight-year old girl . The attack took place toward the end of an Ariana Grande concert in Great Britain, causing 59 other people to be injured and mass panic to take over the country. In response to the tragedy, Grande has Tweeted that she’s “broken” over what transpired, while countless other celebrities have also spoken out. President Donald Trump called out the bomber, as well as ISIS members associated with him, as a total “loser” and British Prime Minister Theresa May referred to the mass murder as an “appalling terrorist attack.” Now, with her nation scared and on edge, Queen Elizbaeth II has also issued a statement. “I know I speak for everyone in expressing my deepest sympathy to all who have been affected by this dreadful event and especially to the families and friends of those who have died or were injured,” says the 91-year old Monarch, adding: “I want to thank all the members of the emergency services, who have responded with such professionalism and care. “And I would like to express my admiration for the way the people of Manchester have responded, with humanity and compassion, to this act of barbarity.” Soon after these words were expressed, Prince William spoke on behalf of himself, his wife, Kate Middleton and his brother, Prince Harry. “Like everyone, Catherine, Harry and I are left shocked and saddened by the tragedy that unfolded in Manchester overnight,” he said. “Hundreds of friends, parents, children and partners are confronting unimaginable grief today, and we send our thoughts to them all. “We also send our thanks to the people of Manchester for their display of strength, decency and community that is an example to the world.” Authorities have confirmed that the attacker died in his own blast, but ISIS has claimed responsibility for the incident and a 23-year old has been arrested in conjunction with the killings. One of the fans who was killed, meanwhile, recently shared on social media a photo she snapped Grande two years ago. Here it is: Among the most outspoken stars in the wake of these deaths was James Corden, who hails from London and did the best he could on air last night to offer hope to those affected by this tragedy. “If it was even possible, the spirit of the people of Manchester will grow even stronger this evening,” he said, concluding as follows: “My thoughts and prayers are with everyone in Manchester tonight – all of the staff at the [Manchester Arena], all of the security teams, all of the emergency services, Ariana and her team, and all of those families affected by tonight. “We’ll all go to bed holding our little ones even tighter this evening.” You can watch Corden’s full speech below: James Corden Sends Prayers to Manchester in Wake of Terrorist Attack Elsewhere, a spokesperson for Manchester Arena issued an update and shared it via Twitter Tuesday morning. Last night, our community suffered a senseless tragedy. Our entire team’s thoughts and focus are now on supporting the people affected and their families. We are assisting the police in any way we can. We cannot praise the emergency services enough for their response and have been inspired by the way the people of this great city of Manchester rallied round last night and continued to respond today. It shows the very best of this city. Again, our thoughts and deepest condolences are with all those affected by last night’s tragedy. Grande, and the two artists who opened for her on Monday, are both okay. Physically, at least. The young star has postponed the remaining European dates on her tour, however. After initially sending a short and heartfelt Tweet , Grande and her team posted a longer message later in the day on Tuesday. It reads: “Tonight, our hearts are broken. Words cannot express our sorrow for the victims and families harmed in this senseless attack. We mourn the lives of children and loved ones taken by this cowardly act. “We are thankful for the selfless service tonight of Manchester’s first responders who rushed towards danger to help save lives. “We ask all of you to hold the victims, their families and all those affected in your hearts and prayers.” We will continue to update this story as more news breaks.

With news continuing to leak out concerning the Manchester terrorist attack on Monday night at an Ariana Grande concert, we’ve come across the following unique piece of information: One of the 22 victims who died in a bomb set off by Salman Abedi had recently met members of the Once Upon a Time cast. Georgina Callander, 18, was identified earlier on Tuesday as an attendee at the aforementioned Grande concert. Around 10:30 p.m., just after Grande has finished her set and fans were making their way to the exists, Abedi blew himself and nearly two dozen others up via what authorities have described as a “nail bomb.” Callander was one of the fatalities. We learned afterward that she had met Grande two years ago, Tweeting a photo of herself and the singer (below) in anticipation of seeing Ariana perform in Manchester on Monday evening. Now, she’s dead. Callander, meanwhile, also spent time with a number of Once Upon a Time stars at a fan convention just a few weeks ago. Once these actors and actresses learned of this connection, they took to social media to express their show and sorrow. “RIP @emiliesatwell remember meeting her last month. Beautiful, sweet girl,” wrote Emilie de Ravin on Twitter, adding: “She gave me the most lovely letter…at a loss 4 words #Manchester.” The former Lost actress also wrote the following on Instagram: “RIP Georgina you beautiful soul…words can’t express my anger and sadness towards the people involved in planning and carrying out the attack last night in #Manchester.” Concluded de Ravin: “My love and courage goes out to Georgina’s family and friends and to all the families and friends of the victims last night. Praying for eternal peace for Georgina and all involved.” Rebecca Mader, who also appeared on Lost with de Ravin, Tweeted the following photo of herself and Callander and sent along her condolences as well: “I am heartbroken to wake up to learn Georgina was taken from us in Manchester. R.I.P Georgina. You were such a special girl. I’ll miss you.” And then there was Lana Parilla, who also met Callander. A photo of the veteran actress and the late teenager is below, while Parilla wrote on social media: “We lost a ONCE fan, @emiliesatwell , in the #manchesterexplosion last night. Devestating. RIP sweet Georgina.” ISIS has claimed responsibility for this heinous act of violence, as British authorities continue to delve deeply into what transpired and who, specifically, was behind it. Earlier today, an unnamed 23-year old has been arrested in conjunction with the horrible crime. Along with these Once Upon a Time stars, numerous celebrities in Hollywood and members of the Royal Family have spoken out on the bombing. Karen David, another series cast member who met Callander, penned this tribute on Instagead: “I’m deeply saddened to hear that this sweet, and beautiful lady, Georgina, who I had the pleasure of meeting and talking to for awhile, only a couple of weeks ago at #SBUK3 was one of the innocent victims in tonight’s atrocity in Manchester. “It’s not fair, it’s not right. It makes me so angry and it breaks my heart that such a young and promising life has been stolen away! But I refuse to give in to hatred. I continue to choose love. I continue to choose unity because when we join together, we are strong! We will not be afraid. Dearest Georgina, may your kind soul rest in peace. “Heaven has gained an angel… My thoughts and prayers are with you, your family, and your friends.” Added Colin O’Donoghue, who plays Hook on Once Upon a Time: “Saddened to hear about the death of Oncer @emiliesatwell last night!! No words! #thoughtswithmanchester.” A GoFundMe page has been set up in tribute to Callandar and to help her family deal with this unimaginable loss. Donate to it HERE and join us in sending your heartfelt condolences to the Callandar family.

Tragedy has struck an Ariana Grande concert in Manchester, England. According to multiple news outlets, at least 22 people were killed and countless others injured after a pair of loud bangs were heard Monday evening inside Manchester Arena. Law enforcement sources in Great Britain and the United States have told NBC News they believe these sounds to have been explosions. Shortly after reports started to leak out about what transpired or may have transpired at the concert, Greater Manchester Police confirmed there were a “number of fatalities and others injured.” It remains unclear just how many people died from the explosions themselves and how many were killed as a result of the stampede that occurred after the blasts went off. Those associated with the event tell TMZ they heard an explosion in the rotunda area (where merchandise is sold), which is located outside the seating area in the venue. Immediately afterward, mass chaos ensued as everyone sprinted toward the nearest exit. About two hours after outlets starting reporting on the horrible occurrence, police said they were treating it as a terrorist act. There are reports the explosive device was a “nail bomb,” TMZ writes, which would explain why many victims at the scene were bleeding profusely. “Ariana is okay,” a representative for the artist says. “We are further investigating what happened.” Manchester Arena sits atop the Manchester Victoria transit station. As of this writing, all lines to Manchester Victoria were closed, National Rail says in a statement. Northern Railway said the station had been evacuated and local police have issued the following statement: “Emergency services are currently responding to reports of an explosion at Manchester Arena. There are a number of confirmed fatalities and others injured. “Please avoid the area as first responders work tirelessly at the scene. “Details of casualty bureau will follow as soon as possible.” This is what a concert goer told The Daily Mail of what he witnessed after the first explosion went off: “Everybody started screaming and running for the exit … We could hear the police and ambulance sirens. It was terrifying. “There were thousands of people trying to get out at once. They were all screaming and crying. The whole place smelt smokey and burnt.” Added another person in attendance, this time to The Manchester Evening News: “We saw young girls with blood on them, everyone was screaming and people were running.” Victoria Monét and Bia opened for Grande on Monday night and both artists are believed to be fine. Grande’s tour was scheduled to continue at the O2 Arena in London on Thursday night, but it’s hard to believe this show will now take place. Not that it matters at the moment, of course. The Manchester Arena, which opened in 1995, can hold up to 21,000 spectators; it was not clear how many people were in the crowd for the concert. But it is clear that this is a tragedy of massive proportions. UPDATE : We’ve found a video that purports to show the explosion. Look to the left in the following footage and listen for a loud bang: If you look towards the left you see the explosion and hear the bang. I hope to GOD everyone is ok, and so glad Jess and Em are. #manchester pic.twitter.com/q81KHGEJ6E — Joe Gregory (@JoeAaronGregory) May 22, 2017 Said another witness to the BBC: “The lights had come up everyone was just getting out and walking towards the stairs, when all of a sudden this huge sound which sounded like an explosion went off.” “Everyone just stopped and turned around.” “Then somebody shouted ‘it’s a bomb’ and everyone just started running. Everybody was trying to push people up the stairs.” “There was a lot of children there without parents. There was no one to calm them down so everyone was just screaming crying and pushing.” How awful. Simply awful and absolutely unimaginable. Our thoughts go out to the victims of this attack, and we will continue to update this tragic story as more information becomes available. Update : This is the latest string of Tweets from the local police department whose officials are investigating the violence: Update : Grande has suspended the remainder of her European tour until an unspecified date, while the death roll has risen to 22. At least 59 people are injured, 19 of them in critical condition. Police are treating this as the act of a suicide bomber, presuming the attacker is dead, but investigating whether or not he was part of a larger organization/network. And Grande has Tweeted the following statement: DEVELOPING STORY…
