19 Celebrities Who Massively Destroyed Their Lips

From Kylie Jenner (the OG Lipmaster) to Farrah Abraham, check out 19 celebrities who completely destroyed their mouths with some kind of …   Needle. With a needle, friends. They destroyed their mouths with needles, and nothing else, okay?  1. Farrah Abraham Farrah Abraham claimed that she was “allergic” to a fake lip implant, which rendered her face to resemble that of Futurama’s Leela. She looked like hell, yadda yadda yadda, you know what we’re allergic to? BS. We’re allergic to BS, Farrah, so quit sticking your lips – and other things – in it. 2. Kylie Jenner Yes, in 2016 Kylie Jenner’s lips hit peak huge. If they got any bigger, she’d be using a straw to drink all of her meals. Which, come to think of it, appears to be what she’s doing now, since the only opening in her mouth, unless she goes deep and wide, is a straw-sized hole in the place where the lip skin is about to split … Actually, is that her tongue, or is it a third lip? 3. Snooki Snooki, Jersey Shore’s favorite hometown meatball, looks like she’s been rolling her lips into tiny little balls, like she would a meatball. Since becoming a mom, and going overboard with the “Mommy Makeover” that’s so vapidly popular, Snooki’s done everything: her teeth, which are actually a plus these days, her boobs, which look fake AF, and her lips … which are some of the most deformed we’ve seen on a celebrity in a long time. No, girl, no. 4. Aubrey O’Day We all know who Aubrey O’Day is, right? No? Whatever. Look at those lips. They look like they should be stuck to someone’s backside, and we don’t mean the old “kissing one’s ass” phrase, either. This is a hellacious look, and Aubrey would be well-advised to drop the needle before it affects the rest of her head. 5. Kesha Kesha’s body isn’t the only thing that put on some weight over the years (and in her body’s case, much-needed weight; girl was looking waif-thin for awhile there, heaven help her) – her lips have seemed to triple in size, and in fact, they’re so big they’re bumpy. There are literal bumps on her lips from whatever she decided to do. 6. Lindsay Lohan Sorry, Lindsay, but thin is in when it comes to lips. Sorry you’re so late to the party on this one, because for the longest time, you had such lovely, wry, thin lips, and now you have fish asses on your face. Lip number one looks like a fish ass, and – oop! – lip number two looks like a fish ass. Never saw a fish ass before? Just look at Lindsay Lohan’s mouth. It’s like “Where’s Waldo?” just for fish asses. View Slideshow

Diner Oral History Just as Awesome as it Sounds

Even without Mickey Rourke! “I remember meeting with a studio executive after he saw the movie and he said, ‘You have a lot to learn about editing.’ I said ‘I’m sure I do, give me an example.’ He brought up the roast beef sandwich scene. ‘Well you’re going on and on with, “Are you gonna eat the sandwich, not eat the sandwich,” just cut it and get on with the story.’ I said, ‘Well, that is the story.’ It’s a way to talk about friendship. A lot of time you see movies and people are talking about, ‘How long have we been friends?’ Friends don’t talk about being friends. From the nature of their conversation, you know they’re friends. That was the point. We talk about problems with girlfriends in abstract ways, we get off the point, we get into arguments that are not essential to what the argument is really about. We’re always messy. That, really was the point of Diner .” [ Baltimore Magazine via The Awl ]

‘Immortals’: The Reviews Are In!

While many critics marvel at the visual spectacle of the Greek flick, others decry Tarsem Singh’s ‘style-over-substance exercise.’ By Kevin P. Sullivan Daniel Sharman and Isabel Lucas in “Immortals” Photo: Jan Thijs If recent Greek movie history has taught us anything, it’s that the men of myths and legends had some killer ab routines. “Immortals” continues the tradition started by “300,” but will the new film find the same magic that made the Gerard Butler flick such a huge success? Critics see the similarities, namely in the brains (or lack thereof) department. While it may not be the smartest picture on the block, most seem to agree “Immortals” is actually quite beautiful. Here’s a rundown on what the critics have to say about the movie, which hit theaters on Friday (November 11). The Story “Alas, the movie makes next to no sense. It involves, in a very broad sense, the attempt by King Hyperion (Mickey Rourke) to conquer Greece, and the battle to stop him led by a plucky peasant named Theseus (Henry Cavill). … But a lot of the time I had no idea what was going on. Characters would turn up for the first time, seem terrifically important, and disappear. If at many moments I had stopped the film and asked anybody around me, ‘Who is that, and what are they doing and why?’ I think they’d have been stuck for an answer.” — Roger Ebert, Chicago Sun-Times Henry Cavill “Henry Cavill, cast as Superman in Zack Snyder’s ‘Man of Steel,’ next year, plays Theseus, a peasant who leads a rebellion against the wicked King Hyperion (Mickey Rourke, the highlight of the film). Muscular, oily and full of resentment, Cavill makes a fine perturbed peasant, though he’s got a tough bill sharing the most scenes with Rourke.” — Scott Bowles, USA Today The Direction “Tarsem Singh’s first two films, ‘The Cell’ and ‘The Fall,’ were shallow but exquisite displays designed almost entirely to show off his extraordinary artistry. With ‘Immortals,’ Singh finally acknowledges that he’s making movies, rather than just beautiful moving pictures. In his ostentatiously unconventional take on ancient Greek history, he gives us fully fleshed characters and a compelling (enough) plot, plus all the action an epic requires. And, true to form, it’s also the most gorgeous film of the year.” — Elizabeth Weitzman, New York Daily News The Costumes “The most eye-catching creative contribution consists of Eiko Ishioka’s sometimes striking costume designs, which not only functionally differentiate the assorted factions but often pop the eyes even against the colorful backgrounds.” — Todd McCarthy, The Hollywood Reporter The Final Word “Absent a compelling narrative, the spectacle alone may be enough to survive opening weekend, only to see returns for this style-over-substance exercise wither over the following weeks. — Peter Debruge, Variety Check out everything we’ve got on “Immortals.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com . REVIEW: Immortals Wants to Be 300 So Bad It Hurts

As cool-looking, dumb and deadly serious as you could desire, Immortals openly aims to be the heir to 300 , and succeeds in at least being a reasonable facsimile that hits many (too many) of the same testosterone-driven beats. The battles are just as imaginatively bloody, the abs painstakingly chiseled, the dialogue tin-eared, only this time around the stakes are not just the fate of the historic(esque) world, but of the divine one as well. There are gods in this film, beautiful, gold-cloaked ones who watch worriedly from atop Olympus as Greece is overrun by the armies of the wicked King Hyperion (Mickey Rourke), a man who wants nothing less than to bring about the destruction of their divine order, though they’re forbidden to interfere in the world of man for…oh, who knows why? Also, it’s in 3-D — dark, dark 3-D I’d avoid if given the option.
